Absolutely, absolutely LOVED this movie. Walken was hilarious, especially his reaction with the cows. "that's a lot of cows." and just smiling because he knows he's defeated. He's funny, Walken is AMAZING and The Rock is a star. He proved it tonight, and then some. Also loved the Bios in the beginning and the entire scene in the club for that matter. Rock is never coming back to WWE, get used to it.

It's only because they are my team, Bruiser, and what I said was the truth. They weren't supposed to win this year, and the fact that they have is making me extremely happy. No matter the outcome of the playoffs, I will be happier with the outcome of this year than the WS title in 97, because this came out of nowhere. SI picked them 4th in the NL East, and ESPN wasn't much higher. I love my team, and where I am (New York), there aren't many Marlins fans. If I'm come across cocky, it's only because it's hard to read emotion over a message board. And my emotions at this time are pure and total happiness. Don't be so damn negative.

The movie is getting amazing reviews. 75% fresh on rottentomatoes for an action movie. Ebert calling Rock the next action star, all that happy stuff. I'm pumped, going to see it in an hour (not before sneaking into Secondhand Lions to see the RotK trailer).

The full 3 minute trailer blew my mind. Shit you guys can talk about how bad Reloaded was all you want (I happen to disagree) but this is just on a grander scale. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Neo talking to the machines personally, Smith breaking out of the program to be unstoppable by the machines but only by Neo, Neo trapped between the Matrix and the "real world". It's going to be unreal.

It doesn't work that way. Screwed over five years? Try every year since until this year. Last year we unloaded Cliff Floyd, Ryan Dempster, and others. Every year the best player was supposed to be unloaded. It wasn't until we had a chance to win this year that Lowell was kept. Believe me, if the Marlins thought they were totally out of it this year Lowell would have been dealt. Sure, the major injustice happened five years ago but it would still be happening if the happy accident of winning didn't occur, make no mistake about it. And the Phillies didn't choke, they were beaten head to head by the BETTER team, 13 f'n times.

Every voter has a little bit of homer in them. St. Louis voters will go Pujols, San Fran voters will go Bonds. The only difference with Gammons is that he has a forum to promote his homer-ism.

Yeah and the loser would have to play the Marlins to see who is the wildcard, at least I think.

Well, maybe if I still lived at home. ) Been away in Ithaca for four years now, soon to be moving to California, but my mother still lives in the area. So maybe he will come and throw down with me when I go home to visit her.

Yeah it's funny actually that Al and myself are from the same area of the world (NEPA) but we are rooting for opposite teams.

Yeah, JMA, I'm not jumping on either side of the arguement here, but to say that you can't own a living creature is just ridiculous. You don't own your pets? You go to the store and buy an animal and you own it. Simple as that. It's yours. Most store bought animals wouldn't be able to survive in the wild and henceforth they depend on you to stay alive. You OWN them.
