It made 12 million on Friday. So, it won't be a huge flop.

I always thought it was unfair to see HHH married Steph solely for political reasons. When you see footage of them together away (like on punked) they do seem very compatible. I doubt HHH is indifferent to the benefits that come from marrying Vince McMahon's daughter, but I don't think that's the main reason he's with her.

teaser trailer for the transporter 3.

As far as the village goes, it wasn't so much that the twist was bad...it was that it completely underminded the main premise of the film.

In the face of vicious accusations, smear campaigns and baseless rumours, Barack gets some much needed support from his own party: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/6/1...7183/717/535260

I heard there's a scene where which sounds pretty out there.

I can see it doing well, because the trailer does look make it look like a must see (especially the red band one). Granted, its up against the Hulk but it probably won't be the flop lady in the water was.

I don't like that a lot of people now want to see him fail. Yeah, he's an egotistical prick, but he's still 10 times more talented than most directors in Hollywood. Maybe he needs to start directing scripts he didn't write himself since with his recent films its usually been the writing that's the problem.

If Iraq is so safe, Ann should volunteer to go live there!

Stephen Colbert said once he thought Coulter was playing a character (similar to him). But reading that commentary...I think she believes it all 100%. That's why there's something creepy about it. I doubt she's on any payroll because even the most desperate republican trying to sell the war to people would never go so far as to call it 'a stunning success'. It's crazy.
-
There's something quite cultish about Ann Coulter's admiration of Bush. The man has a 28% approval rating because he's doing too good a job? Al Qaieda is virtually destroyed? The Iraq war is a stunning success? That was actually quite a frightening thing to read.

The New York times says Bill Clinton now has an enemies list of those that betrayed him and Hillary during the democratic nomination campaign. The names include Sen. Claire McCaskill Bill Richardson James Clyburn David Axelrod Matt Drudge MSNBC A few of the Kennedys The state of Iowa http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/11/us/politics/11clinton.html These people are going to pay...

Wouldn't they need the support of 16 or 17 republican senators to convict? I know Bush isn't exactly popular in his party nowadays, but I can't see that many of them turning on him.

I think he was a good- but arrogant- man who had good intentions and did want to help people, only he's now beginning to realize history is not going to be kind to him and he'll probably be remembered as a monster. He knows he's screwed and its too late to do anything about it. I can't quite bring myself to feel sorry for him, though. The amount of pain and hurt him and his cronies have caused can never be calculated.

Has Daniel Dae Kim done any interviews since the finale? They allowed Harold Perreniue to do one or two, but I havn't read any from him yet.

I'm thinking D'anna reveals the 4 cylons we already know, but is killed before she can tell the last one since Lucy Lawless probably isn't staying on for the rest of the season but they want to draw out the reveal. This season has been...meh. The cylon civil war isn't that compelling, and it was a shame they killed off the one likeable character to emerge from the whole storyline (Natalie). I havn't really liked Baltar's spiritual awakening either. The Detmetrius episodes were good though, though.

Saying only 'a fool or fraud could talk romantically about war' is definetly a dig at Bush. Bush has described seeing soldiers as having an 'adventure' and being 'envious' of them once or twice.

Everytime I hear Bush's numbers, I don't think how low it is, I wonder how the hell it can still be that *high*.

Jimmy Carter's just endorsed Obama.

I think she's more likely to suspend her campaign rather than concede.

Maybe movie executives will start to feel more confident about putting older actresses in movies now. Its a shame someone like Susan Sarandon is stuck in supporting roles now. Michelle Pfeiffer too.

Vanity Fair are claiming Bill has been sleeping around on the road http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/feature...7/clinton200807 Oh, and analyst Roger Stone said the clinton's are now targeting Michelle because of an allegeded tape that exists of Michelle Obama making some very contraversial remarks regarding white people. If you believe the rumours the republicans have this tape but are waiting till October, but Hillary wants it, so she can use it now. Well, spouses fuck everything up.
