The hunting story reminds me a lot of the Bosnia story: it has the same sort of attention detail. Anyway, fox news presenter tries to find an outraged voter- and it backfires http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4xPuDgKO04

Clinton Slams Obama Again: Reminisces About Hunting as a Girl And, thus, Hillary lost her last shred of likability. Now look as Hillary has the cameras follow her as she has a few beers, buys a gun and then goes hunting to prove what typical Pensylvanian she is!
-
Pay no attention to Hillary's faux outrage. Rumour has it she had those comments for a few days before they leaked. But she was waiting till after the debate (when he couldn't confront her over it) and between the primary. But then Bill opened his big mouth about Bosnia and she released it yesterday to distract from that. I like to think the people those comment were about will realize, that while Obama could have put it better, he's still acknowledging the need for change and he understands their anger. Whereas the two richest senators in Washington, are just part of the problem. Hillary's just talking about how happy everone is.

My health is doing ok as far as back problems. I must say there are days that I wake up and ask myself why the heck I put my body through what I did the last few years but it's all worthe it. I can never trade all of the awesome experiences that I have had in the WWE and of course all of the great life long friends that I have made along the way. I have been told by 2 back surgeons that I should never set foot in a wrestling ring again if I want to be moving around in a few years on my own. Pretty depressing if you ask me....I don't even have some awesome memory of what my last match even was or who it was with. Hopefully it was with Victoria and I beat her! (-: I guess everything happens for a reason for sure. Regardless of not traveling with WWE as of late, I have actually been ridiculously busy lately working on more designs for my up and coming clothing line. I must say that I am soooo excited to wear some of the cool stuff that we are coming up with and I hope you are too! Only time will tell.... http://www.myspace.com/torries_space It sounds to me like she's definetly not returning. She's not Rey or Angle, willing to end up in a wheelchair one day as long as she can keep wrestling, wrestling was probably just a job to her. Couple that with her being in her mid thirties (ancient by wwe diva standards) and I'd say her time is up with the company.
-
I don't really rate her chances of having an acting career. Stacy Keibler only gets the occasional acting job ( on shows nobody watches) and she had way more going for her when she left wwe. I think Trish wanted to get into acting as well but she never really got anywhere apart from a presenting gig on a talent show. The problem is while Torrie might be attractive by wrestling standards, LA is full of women that are a lot better looking than her. It doesn't help that all that surgery has actually made her look older than she is.

I'm glad Bush is a God fearing man. He should be.

Bush on the latest torture allegations and white house involvment Is he aware he's just confessed to being a war criminal?

Only in American politcs could a woman with $109 million in the bank and a guy married to a beer heiress with 8 homes, call the non millionaire candidate who grow up in a struggling single parent home an elitist.

None of the women have ever failed the drug policy, have they?

I think we should remember are dealing with the lives of 6 teenage girls here. They might be spoiled brats but they aren't evil. Really, what is putting them away for life going to achieve? No one's dead, the girl (hopefully) will make a full recovery and while she hasn't made a statement I doubt she wants to see them put away forever either. A few years for the main perpetrators is more than enough. At least then they'd have the chance to turn their lives around and grow into adults that can make a contribution to society.
-
I agree with ripper that it does warrant a few years in juvi, but not anything more severe. And it does depend on who did what. I really don't think you should take away a 14 year old girl's future for standing around and then throwing a few weak punches. And the victim herself might not even want them in for life: we'll have to hear what she has to say.
-
A fight would imply she'd fought back. Didn't they tell her later if she called the cops she'd be beaten worse? I think they were aware they were in serious trouble and it wasn't just another catfight. I'd also argue against no malicous intent, because just the idea of luring a girl to your house and beating up her up with the idea of putting it on you tube screams malicious intent to me. And there is the whole kidnapping issue, which is what they were technically doing. Like I said, I don't think they should all get life in prison, but I wouldn't be happy with them just walking away with a slap on the wrist.
-
Hasn't she lost one of her eyes and hearing in one ear? As for her not doing anything: as mentioned, maybe she thought fighting back would only prolong it, and if she took it, eventually they'd be satisfied and stop before they did any real damage. Which was wrong, but anyway... I do agree life in prison is a bit much, possibbly not for the ring leader, and I don't think the youger, more impressionable girls should be put in jail for life. They deserve jail time, no doubt about it. But maybe not that much jail time.

Bill Clinton, talking about Obama's PA ads. Yes, he actually said that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yn7Gq_8YxtE

I think a lot of it is moral voting as well which is equally puzzling. Okay, you picked the guy who'll ensure two gay dudes can't get married, does that comfort you when your out on the street?
-
What shocked me was seeing Ohio polls that say Mccain is ahead of both Clinton and Obama in GE polls. I pray that's just because of the drawn out democratic battle and the majority aren't seriously thinking of voting for him. How in the hell can Ohio possibly go red again? A lot of people there at at absolute breaking point, probably more than any other state, losing jobs, homes, soldiers and they're going to vote again for the party that has basically got them to that point ? Seriously, I have to wonder whether voters in Ohio are sadomasochistic or something. I mean, how long before you realize you've been had? At some point, you have to think a lot of voters get what they deserve. It's difficult to feel sorry for people who don't seem to want to help themselves.
-
I just can't believe everyone's saying how fed up they are Bush, and are now prepared to choose a guy who's actually said he's going to continue Bush's policies. And if Mccain does get elected, you can bet in a year's time these will be the same people moaning about the continuing Iraq war, the economy, the increasing cost of healthcare and how their lives still havn't improved. What can you do with people like that?

Condi is not going to take the black vote from Obama. She's very unpopular within the black community (as well as everyone else). The shoe shopping during Katrina may have been the last straw.
-
what legacy? I tend to think of Elder Bush as an average to below average president, he did some things wrong, but he did a lot of things right . Even Obama's said he wants to emulate his foreign policy. He also left office with a pretty decent approval rating (56%) Now he's just going to be remembered as the chimp's dad.
-
Oh, and my new favourite poll 26% "ANGRY OR UPSET" BY FEMALE PRESIDENT http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/archives/...8_04/013495.php What's crazy is that it was roughly the same amount as women as men. How can 25% of women be angry about a female president?
-
Tim Pawlenty is supposed to be a strong favourite for the republican VP spot. As for Obama..I think Biden. Richardson has been suggested, but I think Obama's team are smart enough to know two minorities would just be too threatening for some people. I'd feel way more confident about Obama's chances if he had Clinton as his veep. But that's just not going to happen now. Which is a shame because at one point it would have been a dream ticket.

Family fakes girl's kidnapping for money
Atticus Chaos replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in Current Events
They got the idea from a tv show called shamless...which ironically is about a family of chavs. -
I was watching MSNBC, and apparently most of the uncommited superdelegates are for Obama and not uncommitted but undeclared, but are too afraid to say so for fear of what the Clinton's will do. Most hope the Pennsyvania voters will do the dirty work for them so they won't have to. This tells you all you need to know about the current state of democrat party.

David Belluvia, before introducing Mccain at a rally. Bacause, you know, they all look alike.

I think it's probably unfair to compare presidents from different centuries.
