The reason I don't think Jin is dead... Obviously, Sawyer, rose, bernard, Locke, Claire, and some others didn't make it off and are presumed dead. They probably have gravestones too. But we know they can't all be dead because you're not going to kill off half your cast especially popular characters like sawyer and locke. I think the gravestone is likely symbolic, and that Sun and Hurley go there to feel close to him. But they know he's not really in there. Yeah, it might not be entirely logical, but this is lost.

Stacy was a good actress by wrestling standards, but when you put her in a tv show with actual trained actors? It shows she's out of her depth. As for her career:I remember reading she's still quite desperate to get herself noticed. You usually see pics of her at these premeire and parties and she goes to them soley for the photo ops and then leaves soon after. It turns out she's not even invited and has to PAY to get into them. That is not someone who's career is going well. I don't know if she's happier away from WWE, but it seems likely she was making more working for Vince, than she is now getting one or two acting gigs a year on shows no one watches.

I don't think Jin's dead at all. It's possible he was forced to stay on the island (like some others were) and Sun just goes there to feel close to him. Clearly, the date on the tombstone is wrong, if that's wrong, what else is?

If there was one thing in Mr Kennedy's whole summer 2007 rants I agreed with, it is that wrestlers that are now broke should stop blaming Vince for that. I mean, Lex Luger is broke now and has to hold fundraisers for his medical bills. How is that even possible with the huge cheques he got from Vince and wcw? I mean, I don't think wwe is the best place in the world to work in, but a lot of the guys get paid well for what they do.

Obama's new strategy seems to be to play down pennsylvania and not campaign there as much, so when Clinton wins, his campaign can write it off easily because he didn't even try to win there (unlike Ohio).

Don't get me wrong I feel bad for the guy but all this 'poor jeff' stuff is ridiculous. Even if the worst happens and he loses his job, he'll still have enough money to keep him living in luxury for the rest of his life. Which is more than a lot of people have.

Probably. The Hardyz made a fortune in their prime, and even after they split he was always a big merchandie seller. I think last year, he must have made close to a million despite the suspension due to being the number 2 face on raw. Granted a lot of that's probably went on drugs, but considering he doesn't seem to have a high maintaince lifestyle I have to think he's got a fortune stashed away. I think people just assume it's only guys like Austin or Taker that are millionaires. But, honestly, someone like Umaga probably is too at this point. You only had to see trish stratus's house (and her 8 bathroms) to know she made a fortune as well and she wasn't even in the main event scene.
-
I had this suspicion he wasn't insured. Thank God he's a millionaire.

Obama's going on the offensive, he released this http://www.huffingtonpost.com/barack-obama...ch_b_91623.html and is going on MSNBC, Hannity and colmes and Anderson Cooper. We should probably compare his reaction to hillary completely burying her head in the sand over Spitzer.
-
In fairness to Obama in regards to the Pastor situation, Mccain became pretty close with Jerry Fawell towards his death, and he'd said things way worse. I get the feeling you have to understand the context of Wright soundbites. And if we're talking guilt by association, does that mean Hillary is somehow to blame for the hooker ring Spitzer got caught up in? Anyway, first the smear campaign says he's a Muslim, now he's being brainwashed by a Christian Preacher. Which is it?
-
A recent poll found 13% of Americans believe Obama is a Muslim. I'm surprised it's that low. Considering 30% of Americans still think Saddam was responsible for 9/11.

gerweck.net says he's in rehab right now.

I always thought being a single, childless woman would actually be the one thing that stopped her being president.
-
Neither. But I think you must be stupid if you seriously think a campaign that has included - a picture of a candidate circulated with a turban to insinuate he is a secret Muslin - The spouse of one of the candidates claiming a major primary win didn't mean anything because people only voted for him because he was black. - one campaign aid hinting one of the candidate's was only in his position because of his race. And claimed people only endorsed him because he was black. -campaign manager saying candidate has only won so many states because each one had a large African American population (you know like Maine, Iowa and Wisconsin) - On upon being asked if said candidate was a Muslim, his opponent saying it was false 'as far as I know' despite the fact the two regularly attended Christian prayer meeting together in the past and she knows almost certainly he isn't. - one campaign aid referring to this 46 year old man as 'boy'. is not racially motivated at all.

No democrat in history has ever been a racist, of course.

Orton's been caught out for steroids, pot, and being an immature prick. Still not nearly as serious as a drug addiction. He's not going to drop dead of a pot overdose, is he?
-
It bothers me how people just bring Randy Orton into everything. Even when Kurt Angle got fired, people were claiming 'but randy orton still has a job.', despite the fact each men's problems where vastly different and you really couldn't compare their situations at all. Same with Jeff. Orton's mainly been caught out for steroid use. With Jeff and Kurt Angle it was painkillers/recreational drug use. There's a big difference there. Oh, and for what's its worth, Orton has usually accepted whatever help wwe offered/ordered. Kurt refused rehab, and Jeff has too. So, you've got one guy who's receptive, and two who refuse help. And you're shocked the recpetive on is still around?

Scavenging? Hillary's campaign released a picture of him with a turban. Someone in her campaign said he was only in this position because he was black. Bill said Obama's victory in south carolina meant nothing because he only got those votes because of his race. Hillary started playing the race card long ago. Or just about the time she realized Barack was a threat. You don't have to look hard to find it, it's there. Do I think Hilary is a racist? I don't know. But she's defiently not afraid to use race baiting to get her win. Looking at Bill's dreadful behaviour, despite being 'the first black president' it makes me wonder if maybe the Clinton's do like having this reputation of having done everything they could have to help the African American community, but perhaps resent one coming along and taking power from them.

This just keeps getting better and better...

Some people still believe Kerry faked his war record. You even got a bunch of guys on sixty minutes claiming 'Obama was a Muslim' and 'he didn't know the national anthem' because 'that's what they;ve been told'. And if it's such a useless accusation, why does Hillary insist on using it as a political weapon, in a bid to turn uneducated voters against him?
-
It might even have been easier if he were white. At least then he wouldn't have had to deal with the Muslim accusations.
-
The right kind of black? It doesn't matter if Jesse Jackson is racist or not, that doesn't make Ferraro's comment okay. two wrongs don't make a right. Oh, yeah, and..... So, according to geraldine, any black politican who runs is only doing so because of his race, and anyone that supports that politican is doing so purely because they're black? You know, because no one can think for themselves.
-
Obama would be in this position if he were white. Mainly because he's the best talker in American politics today. I find it hard to believe with his youth and oratory skills, he wouldn't have moved higher up the political chain anyway, even if he were white.
-
No. Not helped. She said straight 'he wouldn't be in this position if he were white' i.e he's the the frontrunner because he's black. If he wasn't black, his other qualities wouldn't have gotten him to his current position.
