Hillary doesn't actually has a shot of winning this. To get the nomination legitimately with more delegates, she'd have to win every single primary from now on with a double digit lead (Obama is ahead in most of the states after, including Mississipi which has large black population, so she has less than a chance than usual ). Now, if she could get more superdelegates, get Michigan and Florida seated, then possibly she has a shot of overruling Barack's delegate count. However, no one in the party wants any part of her stealing the nomination (which is essentialy what it is). Partly because they think Obama's more electable anyway, and partly because they don't want to alienate Obama's fan base by looking like they've cheated him out of the nomination. I'm sure fears of being called racist if they overrule the delegate count to the detriment of a black man is a factor too. It would tear the party apart. Hillary can't win this. So, what the fuck is she doing? Coming from someone that used to like, even admire her a little, I've lost a ton of respect for her. Her endorsing McCain over Obama was the last straw for me. She can't win the presidency, so Barack can't either? Her selfishness is unbelievable.

Hillary's just said she's qualified, McCain's qualified and Obama's just a speech. Way to go, Hillary. Put over the Republican guy over the 99% certain Democrat nominee.

60 minutes right now... Idiot:I have issues with Obama, him bein' Muslim, I hear he doesn't know the national anthem." Croft: "you know that's not true." Idiot "that's what I'm bein' told."

Armisen's Obama impersonation is awful. I know there's not much to work with, but he's just bad.

Yes, Hillary is now Tracy Flick.

Lashley might talk, since he's not interested in WWE or wrestling in general anymore. Masters might not was to get blacklisted by Vince. -

courtesy of www.prowrestling.net Shortly after his WWE release Chris Masters was contacted by congress in regards to their Wellness Policy, but more precisely the way wrestlers are treated as a culture. Congress have become aware that Triple H publicly mocked Masters' shrunken muscle mass on live TV shortly after he returned from a Wellness suspension. This is the key to bringing WWE under close scrutiny, because if Congress can prove that higher ups in the company encourage the use of steroids then the full blame can be shifted away from wrestler's "personal choice" and on to WWE management. Bobby Lashley was also contacted shortly after his departure. As noted earlier today congress are still looking in to a hearing on Pro Wrestling and are particularly peeved that Vince McMahon refused to show up to a similar hearing on drugs in sports. -
Man, what does his future hold? It's not like Clinton who left in fairly high regard and had a cushy book deal waiting for him. He's one of the most hated men in world, even his own party can't stand him. They're not going to cart him out in the future like the Dems do with Bill, either. I would also hate to be him, when in his secret service protection runs out, in like, 10 years from now.

I love how being labelled a 'liberal' is apparently worse than being called a child molester to most politicians nowadays. Honestly, after eight years of Bush most people are moving away from the Christian right, anyway. Who really cares if Obama is strongly pro choice? It would only matter to the evangelicals who probably weren't going to vote for him. Part of Hillary's problem was she was always terrified of being called a liberal, so she moved more to the centre and didn't attack Bush as much as she could have, which pissed of a lot of democrats. I credit Obama for not making decisions with his poltical calculater. Anyway, Hillary's recent behaviour is pretty appalling. Before, I liked Obama more, but thought Hillary was more qualified. But, now looking at how much honour and dignity he's handled every single one of her petty and outright offensive attacks, he's a lot more presidential than she is. The only mildly good thing that's come out of it, is that her and bill have basically said everything the republicans were likely to say in the fall election (he's a secret Muslim, his followers are deluded, only blacks will vote for him) so they'll have to come up with something new.

These are the same people that tarnished a well respected war veteran's record. They've never heard of tact.

I assume by that point he knew he wasn't going to get away with it, so rather than some alibi, maybe he was thinking he could have one last night of doing what he loved before he got sent to jail. Can you imagined if he had actually showed up on the PPV? Well, at least Morrison would have got to be a part of the most famous match in wrestling history. -

What made me laugh if that they've taking to banning any elite members who spread information from their VP section. You know, the top secret info from WWE they've leaked out. So, they make their money out of leaking secrets but then expect people to respect their site's privacy. -
RE: Obama's staunch pro choice record, I think there is this general perception that if you give the republicans an inch they'll take a mile. Partial Birth abortions are horrific, undoubtedly, but they only make up something like 0.2% of all abortions in the US, no woman chooses to have that procedure unless she absolutely feels she has to. If the numbers are so small, why ban it? Unless it is the first step to banning abortion altogether, which was how a lot of people saw it. Same goes with the born alive infant act he voted against.

I don't know. That meltdown about healthcare will probably go down in history as her Britney moment.

Regarding Hillary going crazy: You think she'd realise this doesn't have to be it for her. She could run again in 2012. But she's squandering any good will by coming off as a crazed harpy and ruining her political future beyond 2008.

Well, Berry's a big fan. You think Obama's hitting that?
-
I think he's in the most danger right now. The people who are determined for there not to be a black guy in the office would have to strike now to prevent him becoming the first black president. Once he's sworn in and is actually president, well, then what's done is done, surely? There will always be threats against his life, obviously, but I get the feeling the next six months are going to be the most dangerous for him. And, what's even more mental is that a couple of nights ago in Dallas (of all places) the secret service allegedly allowed people to go into a rally of his without going through a metal detector. I think the campaign were so desperate to get people in there they decided not to waste time with it.

Tell that to his mother, who recently celebrated her 125th birthday. Well, he says he's fine, but he would, wouldn't he?
-
McCain's VP will probably be under a lot more scrutiny, because there's a higher than average chance McCain could die in office and they would be in charge. Maybe he doesn't need to be concerned with balancing out the ticket, and concerned with who would actually do a good job if his running mate somehow become president.

The WWE Films division has made a grand total of $300,000 in profit with their three movie releases; See No Evil, The Marine and The Condemned. Between See No Evil and The Marine, the company made $16 million in profit. However, Steve Austin's movie The Condemned was a huge money loser as it almost put WWE Films' profitability in the red. WWE is estimating losses at $15.7 million for the release of The Condemned. wrestling observer newsletter -
Hillary as VP wouldn't happen now. Her smear campaign has assured that. Plus, I think Obama might have a better chance with anyone who isn't Hillary. I can't imagine Barack likes the idea of Bill and Hillary telling him what to do for 4 year either. Webb actually is a great choice, aside from the obvious problem of him being a serving senator: experienced, somewhat charismatic, decorated war veteran and, on account of his marriage, he might help Obama make some progress with the Asian electorate that have been frosty to him thus far. Edwards is too tainted with failure now, I think. Although the inevitable Obama/Edwards hugfests would be quite funny.

I don't so much care if politicains have affairs but I care if I have to hear about it nonstop for months on end (Lewinsky). Which is partly why I didn't want Clinton: I don't need to spend another 4/8 years hearing about the state of her marriage. Any thoughts on who Obama's running mate will be? (Let's assume he has the nomination in the bag)

The only thing I remember about master and commander is that Elf beat it at the box office. I'm not saying he hasn't had successful movies but 3 or 4 over 10 years isn't enough to justify $20 million a movie.
