Turning Orton face would be horrible. I hate it, but with Steph as a general manager she can't be 'with' a face wrestler. Authority figures always play heelish roles, so it seems fairly obvious Orton is going to beat HHH by siding with Steph (thus giving HHH another reign when he GETS HIS REVENGE ON HIS WIFE!!!!!!!) and making the storyling all about HHH vs. A McMahon instead of HHH vs. Randy Orton. I don't know who is going to win the Triple Threat (probably Cena) but it's a fair bet if this goes on in the middle of Wrestlemania that Steph is going heel with Orton and Cena wins to close the show. If the Triple Threat goes first, then HHH is finally getting a Mania win (since he's gone like 3-5 in this decade and hasn't had a win since WM 19) I think Orton has been the face during the fued. Even if as I said, it wasn't intentional. Vince was asking for it. Shane demanded a match and was desperate to take on Orton, so he was asking for it too. The only really heelish thing he did was giving his finishing move to a defenseless woman, and, well, she's fine now. Orton as a face can work, he doesn't have to change much, just make his opponent worse than he is. I doubt they'd have Stephanie turn since it's just been established with she's with HHH, and they might want to keep them together so if she ever does turn it will have more impact. I'd hate to see HHH and Stephanie turning on each other all the time, it would end up like Kurt and Karen and just lose all meaning and importance.

I thought they were going for a double turn at Mania, à la Austin/Hart, and that's why HHH seemed so unlikable, and Orton was coming off as slightly more sympathetic. But after watching Smackdown, HHH seemed to be staunchly face, again. So, HHH coming off as a jackass appears to be quite unintentional, which is the main problem with this storyline.

Unfair to Flair: Celebrating The Worst of The Nature Boy
Atticus Chaos replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
It's kind of funny how many people tend to present Flair as this good natured, fun loving, life of the party type guy, when he's clearly very sleazy and unhinged, even by wrestling standards. -
What will be the worst movie of 2009?
Atticus Chaos replied to Obi Chris Kenobi's topic in Television & Film
This probably isn't going to be seen by enough people to be considered truly bad on a national level, but it's the trailer for Kurt Angle's new movie. http://www.northshore-pictures.com/video/E...me_Trailer.html Dodgy production values? Check. Ridiculous plot? Check. Bad acting? Check. Kurt Angle dressed as a clown? Check. This is going to make 12 rounds look like All About Eve. -

The long kiss goodnight was quite good. I think he's a fairly competent director, even if he's done a few crap films. -

Isn't 12 rounds supposed to be quite good? At least, by WWE movie standards. Cena's not a great actor, but from what I've seen he's not embarressingly bad either, mainly because he just sticks to what he's good at. If he had to play a doctor or a lawyer then he'd be terrible. Even the clips I've seen make it look mildly interesting. Of course I saw one kind of funny clip where the girlfriend is like 'he's totally going to kill you and win!' despite the fact that bad guy could kill her right there and then by taking his finger off a trigger and really she should be too traumatised to make jokes. So, maybe it will veer off into so bad it's good territory. -
WWE SmackDown - March 27, 2009
Atticus Chaos replied to Angles Broken Fricken Neck's topic in The WWE Folder
There was something that always borthered me about that- Shawn's been refusing to be drafted to smackdown fot years and years now, because of that, and Bible study day has never changed? It always has to be Tuesday? Anyway, Shawn and Taker should probably go on last, but it won't. Vickie/Edge/Big Show is a comedy soap opera angle and nobody cares about who Vickie ends up with, and HHH/Orton is quickly turning into a similar type of comedy angle- although that was probably unintentional. -
YO! TSM raps: John Cena in 2009
Atticus Chaos replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in The WWE Folder
I think the main reason Penn won was gay marriage support, but Rourke said himself his people told him not to do it because they were worried it would affect his chances, and assuming they've been in the entertainment business for a while, they would know. As far as serious acting and being a star in wrestling...look, if George Clooney showed up as a regular character on raw, people would probably regard him as a joke and wonder what he was doing and if he'd lost his mind, and at the very least his reputation would suffer. People in the mainstream don't take wrestling seriously at all. David Arquette only got away with it, because he was a B movie comedy actor anyway. -
YO! TSM raps: John Cena in 2009
Atticus Chaos replied to Ed Wood Caulfield's topic in The WWE Folder
It might affect his credibility as an actor. The rumours that he might have been wrestling may have played a role in Rourke's Oscar loss, and at the very least, it didn't help. Not that Johnson's going to be winning an Oscar anytime soon, but he has taken more serious roles in the past, and may want to do dramas again. Wrestling again would make him look like a novelty act, like Hogan, which seems to be what he's been trying to get away from. -
Unfair to Flair: Celebrating The Worst of The Nature Boy
Atticus Chaos replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Anyone remember the court report from the Plane ride from Hell? Not to mention his extremely creepy boasting about getting Cena (who previously had been a teetoler) to be a big party guy, and coaxing former addicts HBK and Regal to get drunk. -
WWE General Discussion - March 2009
Atticus Chaos replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
It's actually Vince that can't get over it. How many times has he used the Montreal ending in the storylines now? For all the talk of Bret's whining, he doesn't really talk about it as much as people think now, and has said in the past he's sick of people bringing it up. He's obviously pissed at Shawn and WWE for a lot things, and the screwjob is just one of them, rather than the main reason. -
Take it with a grain of salt but rumour has it Chris Jericho is getting a divorce. Kelly Kelly is supposed to be the cause.

I'm quite excited to see the next episode 'Man on the Street' since seemingly everyone whose seen it has been stunned by it, and this is when Dollhouse is supposed to get really good.

These are actual recent birth announcements. Taken from another forum but I google searched a few because they sounded too ridiculous and they're all genuine. Siblings are also mentioned. I thought it was an urban myth, but the name has been shown to be genuine. The girl's in school now, and while the teachers try and call her Tasha her mother insists they use her full name. Seriously these kids are going to furious at their parents when they're older. Except Jake Rambo since his name is sort of cool.

I know Keanu's not the greatest actor, but he's also insanely watchable. He's not technically a good actor, but he's got that surfer dude charisma that carries him through. I heard a funny story that when he was performing Hamlet during his theatre phase he had to use the word "Excellent" and it shows up A LOT in the text, so he was saying 'my excellent friend' 'Excellent' this and that, and the audience where completely pissing themselves laughing.

There was a rumour floating around a few months ago that WWE had held some informal talks about possibly bringing him back-on a part time schedule when his contract runs out, which I think is in September. Kurt has softened his rhetoric regarding Vince and WWE, and is probably mulling it over himself. I know in regards to his health, he's still in pretty bad shape, although not as bad as he once. And if they brought him back, it would be a blow to TNA, which has basically been built around him. Thoughts?

Would WWE ever take Kurt Angle back?
Atticus Chaos replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't think a part time WWE position is that bad. Certainly not any harder than his current TNA schedule. -
That's not where I heard it and no. And from what I heard they're still together.

Jericho and Kelly have been an open secret for a while now. I'm only mentioning it, because they're not hiding it anymore and it's likely going to come out soon anyway. If you don't believe it, fine. We might be inclined to at least find it credible if you would cite the source of this information. I've actually heard it from a few people, but had it confirmed by one person in particular, who I trust because they've been right about these matters, time and time again and know a lot of stuff months before it even comes out due to their various connections. Andddddddd your done. Seriously you're just assuming you know what you're talking about, when you really have no idea what is really going on between the two. And instead of stating where you heard the "news" from, the only thing you could put out there was "Ummmmm....well.....my....my own source told me.", and by your own source, you probably mean some 15 year old kid. There is also no proof in the pictures other than being out together at a club or some kind of party. Umm...no. I wouldn't mention something like that if it was just some random person. Like I said, the person that told me has a good track record, and has told me things months before they came out and I have a lot of faith in what they tell me. Kelly and Jericho couple appear to have gone public with it, so it's not being kept under wraps anymore. As for the pictures, I knew before they even came out. But if people dont want to take my word for it, I think her friend saying it's her boyfriend probably looks, at the very least, a bit suspicious.

Atticus Chaos replied to Atticus Chaos's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm not sure how Kurt would cope with WWE's wellness policy. Not well, I assume. -
If I told people you were Kelly Kelly's boyfriend, would they believe me? No. The friend's name is Hillary, and she's put a lot of stuff with Kelly before. I think she may have been responsible for the infamous sink pictures. Is it impossible that she's lying? No. But it would be very odd if she was.
-
Still doesn't explain why her friend referred to him as Kelly's boyfriend.

Taken must have awesome word of mouth. I saw the trailer and it just looked like an average thriller, even the reviews have been mixed. So, why is it doing so well?

JBL as OVW's heel owner sounds pretty interesting.
