Sources within the company indicate that the airing of Brooke Hogan's music video on Raw didn't come free, if you know what I'm sayin'. You'll see what I'm talking about when you witness her daddy jobbing to young Randall Orton at WrestleMania next year. One former WWE veteran says of the coming Orton/Brooke angle that "it's like taking a pedophile and casting him in a movie about raping kids". Here's what I say about Brooke Hogan: "she might be the most talentless person to ever disguise herself as a singer and get a record deal. Thank God for her daddy." from insidepulse This will be like Sharmell and Kurt all over again.

from LOP Behind the scenes, Vince McMahon has been less predictable and more erratic than ever before. Everyone is catering to him in fear - in fear of him possibly snapping on them. McMahon isn't running WWE with much input either - probably less than at any point in WWE history. The only two people who have enough clout and respect to disagree with his decisions are Kevin Dunn and Stephanie McMahon. Reports of McMahon's strange behaviour have been going around for a while now ( and yeah, I know he's always been a bit of an eccentric guy but news seems to indicate he's behaving odd even by his standards) I even remember reading a while back that nowadays Vince is rarely alert and focused and spends much of his time strung out on painkillers, cocaine, steriods..etc. Hence the power struggle going on between Shane, Hunter and Steph because Vince can't run the company anymore. So has Vince well and truly lost his mind?

I bet Vince sleeps with at least one beautiful young model.

Randy Orton's shoulder is said to be sore at this point. He did not dislocate it like previously reported. After injuring it last week at the 6/20 ECW taping, Orton iced his shoulder down. He then attended a promotional event in the U.K. later in the week. I reckon he'll probably work through the pain. He's just got back after all. Although Im pretty sure he himself has said it was dislocated..

I have a feeling in four years time, Orton will still be hearing gym bag/poop jokes, though. Fact is Orton gets called a mysoginistic pig by everyone and their aunt but Stone cold is greeted as a hero whenever he turns up on Raw or ppv. And even in summer 2002 I don't remember as many people hating on Austin in fact most were still eager for him to return to WWE. People can be such hypocrites sometimes. Just saying, If your going to judge one wrestler on his personal life, judge them all.

In regards to his wrestling ability:I think he's a good wrestler, and a lot of of other people do too. By WWE standards he's very good. He's consistently had good or great matches with Benoit, Taker, Foley and Angle. And considering Foley and Taker are past their primes, you can't argue he was being carried. So he ended Benoit's reign? Someone had to. And you could argue the title flop wasn't his whole fault. As for his behaviour: He has sought therapy, which indicates to me he had an actual problem rather than just being an asshole for the sake of it. Also, if we're talking about bad behaviour towards women, where's everyone's anger and rage at Stone cold for beating up his wife? Or do people's contempt only stretch towards wrestlers that aren't immensly popular?

Hopefully Sabu wasn't hurt when he missed the table...that looked nasty.

I agree 100%, Vince thus far doesn't even fucking care that RVD has the belt and is an "ECW" guy. I mean besides the 10 seconds he spent "addressing the state of WWE" He hasn't even acknowledged the title situation. He SHOULD, but he is all wrapped up in the stupid DX bullshit to have time I guess. So why would the WWE Ref even try to screw over RVD......to appease Jerry Lawler!?! I still say that if they want to continue the ECW/WWE cross promotion, then RVD needs to retain the belt. I mean I am sorry but does anyone else think a BIGGER DEAL should be made out of the fact that RVD is holding the WWE Belt AND the ECW Belt? Shouldn't that be a bigger damn storyline then "Look I am mooning guys, ahahahahahahahaha, wow naked male ass hahahahahaha" I can see RVD losing the WWE belt tonight, but it better not be clean. In kayfabe, why would Vince care if RVD is champ or not? He's the one that brought ECW back. Even in kayfabe, McMahon would like to see ECW go toe-to-toe w/ Raw. More conflicts between ECW and Raw guys mean more money for him . . . again, in kayfabe. Because Raw is Vince's baby and Vince's baby doesn't have a title, the "rebels" have the title. I thought it was extremists?

It does seem pretty dumb. What about less hot divas like Jazz (if she wasn't married) and Jillain? Can they date who they want? Although, didn't Melina get together with Nitro when they were in OVW? And what about Mickie and Kenny? They got engaged after he debuted I think so they must have been going out a while.
-
It's a bit hypocritical when the head writer and a main eventer are married, though.
-
What you mean a lot of internet fans have an irrational hatred of Orton? Never! As for the card: Good to see Nitro getting a push but I'm not sure where Carlito or Benjamin go from here. As for Umaga Joe...his monster push has fallen flat on his face. His manager is more over than he is.

Not really. When he wrote that part of the Observer, the booking was going to stay the same. Now, however, the plan, has it does so often, has changed. You're right. Who am I to question the Meltz? So, all the reports about plans changing daily for ECW are true, I guess. That's worrying. Next week Steph will probably be writing the entire show.

I don't understand this. I thought based on the reaction last week that Vince would do things his way b/c of the ratings. That never made any sense. What would good ratings show other than that people liked ONS2 and were excited about ECW? It's not like the fans could watch the show, be disappointed at how awful it was, and then go back in time to not watch it. Didn't Meltzer say in the observer this week that the booking was more or less staying the same this week due to the high rating? He's contradicting himself.

Thanks for posting. I do think Lilian overreacted considering she just sprained her wrist. She obviously went to the HBK school of selling.

This explains a lot.

^ can anyone copy and paste that, please? DVDVR isn't working for me for some reason.

Randy Orton has gotten along well with his colleagues since returning last week. He shook everyone's hand at catering and was all smiles all weekend. He was said to have loved the ECW atmosphere, as did Cena, Edge, Angle, and Show source: PWTorch
