All I needed was either Colorado, Nebraska, or Purdue to win and they all failed miserably by giving up 35+ points to teams not known for their offenses (especially Notre Dame). Fuck a bunch of that.
-
That tiebreaker's looking pretty good for me with Alabama putting up all these points, but I need Nebraska to win for it to matter.

Man...I went to that Michigan game and they looked like hell early on, especially with the offense dead in the water. The stadium was as loud as I've ever heard it when they made that comeback. Their D-line really held their own against Wisconsin's hosses up front. Michigan's offense still needs a ton of work though...Threet's clearly the guy at QB now, but he wasn't accurate at all plus he's slow as fuck (although that was a nice 58-yard run that he had off a fake handoff). Also, Michael Phelps and the other UM Olympians were at the game as well as some UM NFL players who were on their bye week. Good stuff. EDIT: God, how bad is Washington St.? Just checking out the scores and they're down to Oregon 56-7 with the whole 4th quarter still to be played. They've got to be one of the worst teams from a BCS conference this season.

Pretty ironic for me since I'm watching Absence of Malice in one of my classes right now. R.I.P.

I hate to say it, but the Big Ten could rear its ugly head again when it comes time for the BCS title game. I'm sure the voters will do everything they can to keep that from happening, but the SEC and Big 12 look awfully tough this year. At least one of those two conferences could have no teams with less than two losses which would leave an opening for a one-loss Penn St. or Wisconsin. Or maybe this could be one of those years where a Wake Forest (ACC) or a South Florida (Big East) run the table (I don't expect either to do it though), and then everything's all fucked up. It's still early though...just some speculation on what might happen down the road.

I'm 3-0 as well (War Daddies) but I've really had to trot out some makeshift lineups. My WR situation is so bad that I picked up Kevin Curtis to stash away on my bench, and he's not even ready to play yet.

ESPN crawler says that Todd Jones is gonna retire...today just keeps getting better and better.

By the way, the CURSE OF BOBBY LAYNE ends in 11 days. Maybe the Lions get a new GM that day.

THANK YOU Bill Ford Jr., cuz he was the only guy that had the sense to speak out against him (although he had a hand in hiring him in the first place... ). Just as long as Millen's gone though, a blind monkey could've done better than that fool. Millen's final record (unless you count the rest of this season)...31-84.

So the Tigers went from World Series contenders to last place in the AL Central...damn.

We might have that 0-16 season after all. I was just about to ask if we were gonna finally see 0-16 this season. The Chiefs pretty much tanked the season before it even started plus they might have the worst collection of QB's ever assembled. The Rams can't stop anyone to save their lives. The Lions supposedly went through the "easy" part of their schedule and got blown away from the get-go in each game.

VX over 909-Both offenses are very good, but I like VX's defense better with versatile D-linemen and LB's plus a tough secondary. I'm not completely sold on 909's defense as a whole. Montana is a huge difference maker but I feel that VX has the better overall team. Gert over Kahran-I really like the O.J./Thurman tandem at RB (somewhat similar to what I did with my team). I mentioned before that I wasn't thrilled with Dawson at QB, but he's still plenty good enough. The thing I'm really impressed with is Gert's LB's and secondary. Hard to go against Payton and a great O-line but I'm feeling Gert's team a little more right now.

1. Regardless of who wins the game, who is the worst team in Ohio and why? (Cincy. Their biggest strength, which was the passing game, has turned into crap. They've just been dysfunctional all around. Cincy did show some life against the Giants, but I think the Browns are more talented, plus they might get a spark if and when Quinn finally comes in) 2. Can Houston get anything going this season with the rest of their division riddled with injuries? (Probably not. Tennessee is looking a lot better than I thought they'd be and I think Indy and Jacksonville will be there in the end despite their slow starts. I won't go MX and say 2-14, but Houston's gonna have a hard time making it to .500 again) 3. Based on their play so far, do you think Atlanta will be dangerous this year? (No. Once they start facing real teams, they'll come back down to earth. At best they get 4-5 more wins, which is miles better than anyone would've thought, but still not good enough to contend for the division) 4. Baltimore is 2-0 against teams with a combined 0-6 record. Will the Pittsburgh offense wake up and put the crapass Ravens in their place? (No. Pitt's O-line is alarmingly bad right now. The Ravens aren't that good, but their D is still very capable of causing some problems for the Steelers 5. How will the coaching situation in Oakland affect their chances this week at home against the divisional favorite Chargers? (It won't matter much. Maybe the Raiders will come out inspired and make it a closer game, but I don't expect them to win)

Yeah, I'll go ahead and stick with my keepers.

Another day, another Lions loss. Seriuosly, I think they may be the worst team in football right now. The good news is that Kitna went down late...hopefully he broke his ankle or something.
-
Didn't help that UNC's QB went down either.

I wish we could've did the sim thing as well. Any know why whatifsports doesn't use individual defensive players for football?

Nicole Manske, host of NASCAR Now. Apparently she's been doing this for several months now, but I just noticed her while flipping through channels looking especially good out there on the track.
