I think it's 57.

Link Check the comments below for your amusement. EDIT: Can I get a mod here to change the thread title, since the word "together" was chopped off?

Ho-hum, just another day at the office (pool?) for Michael Phelps. Not only is that 6 for 6 in gold medals, he's also broken the world record in each one.

Time for the kicker. Matt Stover Pro Bowl selection (2000) All-Pro selection (2000, 2006) Super Bowl champion (XXXV) For a draft like this, I think accuracy is more ideal than having a big leg and Stover gives my team that. He's been vastly underrated throughout his career, is currently the NFL's 4th all-time leading scorer, and is currently 5th in all-time FG accuracy. That accuracy mark is even more impressive when you consider that: 1. He's been this accurate over a 17 season career. 2. He's attempted 519 FG's, tied for 5th most all-time. 3. He's played all his home games in an outdoor, cold weather stadium (Cleveland and Baltimore) Sure he won't boom too many 50+ yarders, but he's capable enough and he'll get the job done when it matters most. Since 1999, Stover has made at least 84% of his FG attempts in every season and 87.6% overall during that timespan. That's the type of consistency I value.

Well, I'm gonna do something similar here. First, I'm gonna appoint Gale Sayers as my primary return man. Sayers is a player that I want to use in every way possible, plus he made the NFL's 75th Anniversary team as a RB and a KR so why not? He's arguably the greatest kick returner of all time with a record-tying 6 returns for TD's and an obscene 30.6 yards per KR, a record by a full yard. And although he didn't return enough punts to qualify for the record, his 14.5 average is outstanding. To make that change though, I need to pick up another RB so Sayers doesn't get worn out. Jerome Bettis 6x Pro Bowl selection (1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2004) 3x All-Pro selection (1993, 1996, 1997) 1993 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year 1996 NFL Comeback Player of the Year 2001 Walter Payton Man of the Year Super Bowl XL Champion One of my all-time favorite players, "The Bus" brings more power to my rushing attack and will wear down oppsing D's. Him and Sayers will create the latest version of Thunder & Lightning. And then there will be spots where Bettis and Motley are in the same backfield together...that's 500 pounds right there. Getting the NFL's 5th leading rusher of all-time is a nice find for me this late in the draft.

I miss the Bra & Panties matches

I personally would've went to Boston if I was Giles, but I can see why he wouldn't want to be just a bit player on a possible World Series team (if that was one of the main reasons). I remember Mike Golic talking on Mike & Mike about passing up the opportunity to play for the 49ers at the end of his career in 1994. San Fran went on to win the Super Bowl but he had no regrets about because he didn't want to just be "along for the ride". It's a matter of pride for some pro athletes.

Maybe Dixon can be a new & improved version of Slash?

Sergio just can't win... Good for Harrington though. I would think this win clinches Player of the Year, but I'm not sure.
-
Yeah...wish I could too. I had 4 this morning...such a fat-ass.
-
Man...who's next? R.I.P. Isaac.

I was probably hurt by having limited hockey knowledge and maybe not selling my team as well. Still, I thought I collected enough talent to finish higher than 8th.

It should be 4 rounds after this current one. I have 11 on offense and 11 on defense. I need a return man, kicker, punter, and coach. Some people (like myself) don't have the return man position listed on their rosters, that's why things are a little confusing.

I hate to be such a tight-ass with the time limit, but it's been over 16 hours so...I'll go ahead and finish my defense. Albert Lewis Pro Bowl (x4) (1987, 1988, 1989, 1990) 1st team All-Pro (x2) (1989, 1990) Kansas City Chiefs HOF An excellent cover corner, Lewis can do many things on the football field, from rushing the QB (12.5 career sacks), to rushing the punter (a whopping 10 career blocked punts).

I actually finished higher than I thought I would (of course having MJ helps). -
I'll eat Krispy Kreme's, but I really prefer the standard glazed donuts like the one on the left here.

Yeah, I had heard about his pneumonia last week, but I didn't think much of it then...too bad. RIP.

Looks like Pennington's gonna start in Miami. Link

They were talking about Kobe taking $50 million to play in Italy on PTI today as well. EDIT: And I guess Dwyane Wade's been talking about it too.

You didn't get my picks? -
My third LB will be... Chris Hanburger 9x Pro Bowl selection (66-69, 72-76) 6x All Pro selection (69, 72-76) 1972 Kansas City Committee of 101 NFC Defensive Player of the Year 70 Greatest Redskins Hard to believe that a guy as accomplished as Hanburger isn't in the Hall of Fame (I don't think he's even been a finalist). Underrated player that could play both the run and the pass (19 INT's) extremely well.

I think I'm one of those guys that has more raw strength than actual weight room strength. My highest bench was 285, which was only 20-30 pounds over my body weight. I had decent lower body strength with a 550 squat (I'm sure I could've easily did over 600 if I kept at it) and a 620 deadlift (not sure how much I can leg press). I'm definitely out of shape right now, but I'm working on it. I really hate running though, even after playing about 8-9 different organized sports from age 5-6 through my 1st year of college.

Guess it's time to pack it in...I was willing to drag this out a little longer with the Tigers, but after the way the games on Sunday and tonight went, it's obvious that it's just not their year. This whole bullpen (aside from Seay) needs to be fired.
