Earl Boykins signed a 1-year deal with Italy's Virtus Bologna for $3.5 million, which makes him the highest paid player in Italy. Also, this would never happen, but a source close to LeBron says he would consider going to Europe if he was paid at least $50 million a year.

Just put his fat ass on a treadmill until he loses the weight.

Not much posting in this thread tonight...

Should've known that would happen... Great match though.

Well everything I've heard today (mostly from ESPN) suggests that Favre will compete for the starting job but may also get traded eventually. I guess he's already done his physical, has met with McCarthy, and has gone to QB meetings (or at least he's going to soon).
-
Yeah, I saw that. Usually Brian Kenny's pretty good, but he was pushing that argument way too hard.
-
Mike Hart looked pretty good out there as well. He may get caught up in the numbers game in Indy, but I think he should be able to find a spot on someone's roster.

I'll complete my D-line with... Keith Millard 2x Pro Bowl selection (1988, 1989) 4x All-Pro selection (1986, 1987, 1988, 1989) NFL 1980s All-Decade Team 1989 NFL Defensive Player of the Year 1989 UPI NFC Player of the Year He can play anywhere on the D-line, but I'll use him mainly as a pass rushing presence at DT. He still holds the record for sacks by a DT with 18 and had 51 sacks through 5 seasons before he fucked up his knee. Allegedly told police officers during a DUI arrest to "Go ahead and shoot" cuz "My arms are more powerful than your guns." Not sure why I have all these Vikings and Bears on my team, but whatever.

I remember every family member's birthday, but that's just me.

I'm not quite ready to give up on the Tigers' playoff chances yet, but it just feels like it's not their year. They started out so bad and had to expend a lot of energy just to get back to the .500 mark. They haven't been able to get more than 2-4 games above that. Hopefully Dave Dombrowski spends plenty of money on pitching in the offseason. In all fairness I don't see how you think the Tigers have any chance. They are in 3 place and have a losing record against both the White Sox and Twins. Well, it's not like I think they have a good chance, but there's still over 50 games left in the season. At 6.5 games back, all it takes it one good hot streak and they're right there. They start another series with the White Sox on Tuesday so I'm at least gonna see how that one plays out before I decide to pull the plug. Most people still have the Tigers in the discussion for the playoffs.

Yeah, Saturday's a great pick at this point. Him and the guy I picked (Hull) were basically the only centers left that I was looking at.

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/817378/ Heh. To be fair, a lot of people might've said "candies" instead of "cookies" in that spot. Speaking of Wheel of Fortune, is it just me, or does it seem like black women always fuck up on that show (or any other game show for that matter)?
-
Well yeah, I'm not gonna pick some random fatass to play guard just because. But if two players have similar credentials, I'll go with the guy that fits my team better, most likely the guy who's bigger, faster, and stronger. I think most everyone's picks in general have been legit.

This. I don't like this new facebook in general. As far as the apps go, I generally don't bother with them.
-
I was looking at Kramer a couple rounds ago but I wanted someone with more size (probably part of the reason why he and some of the other older players fell). Not that I'm biased against older players, but I try to pick my spots with them.
-
I'll finish off my O-line with... Kent Hull 3 Pro Bowls 4 All-Pros Hey, someone was out there protecting Jim Kelly and blocking for Thurman Thomas. A great leader and a guy that can run whatever offense I decide to put in.
-
Can someone tell me why Jim Leyland still insists on playing Gary Sheffield?
-
Yeah, the drafting of Brohm was a little puzzling to me as well. Even if the Packers thought Favre was done for good, you're still investing a 2nd round pick on a guy to be the backup to Rodgers, who's only a couple years older. It's not like Rodgers was a 5th-round pick or an aging veteran himself, he was a 1st-round pick only 3 years ago.

I saw a preview for "Work For Diddy" on VH1. Seriously, is this dude that big of a prick in real life? He was pretty intense on his Making the Band shows as well.
-
I don't know how the hell the Tigers won this one, but I'll take it. That was both the best and the worst game game I've seen in awhile. Best part is that they've got to come back at noon now lol.
-
A card game. Somewhat similar to spades.
-
Yeah, I'd say that #4 is too high for Peyton, but if you want him as your QB, you have to take him there. Also, EHME can pick now too cuz of the time limit. Hopefully soon, cuz things can get screwed up easily at the beginning/end of rounds.
-
I guess they are sellers, cuz they just traded Pudge to the Yankees for Farnsworth.
