The only critical mass I knew was this one. Interesting...

For my stadium, I'll go with... San Siro

With my last player pick, I'll grab one of those guys that fell back into the pool. Thierry Henry

The verdict for Donaghy is in.

Yeah...don't remember what channel it was on (I'm fairly sure it was one of those premium channels), but it was all black people playing it.

Why are all these heels winning?

The "Best Damn World Yo-Yo Contest" is now on TV. There's another one to add to the list (alongside other obscure "sports" such as darts, bid whist, and dominoes).

Exactly what I was thinking... Adamle?!?!

I guess Paul Byrd just simply owns the Tigers *shrugs*

I can't see this happening, but apparently Rush Limbaugh is interested in buying the Rams. Link

Pistons sign Kwame Brown

A great D-II football team (that's all I could come up with). So, ESPN did the "Who's Now" shit last summer, "Titletown" this summer. Anyone have an idea of what's coming next?

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Jeff Samardzija being brought up and getting his first save yesterday for the Cubs.

Tigers C-Doug Mirabelli 1B-Tony Clark 2B-Frank Catalanotto (plays more OF now but was drafted at 2B) SS-Chris Gomez 3B-Brandon Inge LF-Dave Roberts CF-Curtis Granderson RF-Gabe Kapler SP-John Smoltz SP-Justin Verlander SP-Mark Mulder (drafted as a 1B and didn't sign) SP-Mark Redman SP-Jeff Weaver RP-Joel Zumaya CL-Keith Foulke Pitching looks pretty good, position players...meh for the most part.

I find it hard to believe that out of Joe Flacco (who did end up getting picked earlier than expected but still...), Chad Henne, and Brian Brohm, the Bears weren't impressed with at least one of them. They could've got a QB in the 2nd round and picked up a good RB with their next pick. Next year's QB class doesn't look all that impressive IMO.

Well, we decided to "freeze" any DQ'ed teams in the NFL draft, but it doesn't really matter to me either way.
-
Tigers at least saved a little face by winning today. Fernando Rodney is now the closer in Detroit. Oh, and Zumaya had to leave the game due to tightness in his tricep...great.
-
Fuckin' Tigers...can't hit with RISP to save their lives.

Nice pick with Moore. I had him tagged as a sleeper pick early on but I ended up picking my WR's earlier than I thought I would. Looking at the open spots on my roster, guard is the position with the least amount of players I'm looking at, so I'll go there. Bill Fralic 4-time Pro Bowler 3-time All-Pro NFL 1980s All-Decade Team They invented the term "pancake block" for Fralic cuz of the way he dominated everyone in college. He continued to dominate in the NFL by becoming one of the best linemen in the 80's. Fralic was an extremely strong and physical player in his day...he'll fit naturally into that right guard position on my team.

No kidding... I didn't get to see the game, but this loss hurts big-time. Jones has saved 19 outta 22, which isn't too bad, but he's also got an ERA of 5 and a WHIP above 1.5. He's basically just throwing BP out there and hoping that he gets lucky. There's a reason why they call him "The Roller Coaster". Fans are clamoring for Zumaya to be the closer but he hasn't looked good lately. Maybe Leyland should give Rodney a shot (he's also prone to inconsistency but has been pitching great recently).

Sepp Maier Not a bad guy to have as a backup goalie.

VX also jacked my center but that's OK...I'll figure something out. In the meantime, I need to make sure I get my other safety. There's 1 or 2 older guys still out there that I was targeting earlier (Cherry was another one that just went off the board), but I need another beast on my defense. More specifically, I need a MEAST! Sean Taylor 2x Pro Bowl selection (2006, 2007*) All-Pro selection (2007*) *Posthumous selection Dude's basically the size of a LB, but has plenty of speed to cover ground. It's unfortunate what happened to him last year. cuz he was having the best season of his career and one of the best in the entire league. Taylor's not quite as accomplished in terms of awards as the other modern safeties that were taken before him, but he's right there with them statistically (43 passes defended for example), and when I look back at clips of him playing, I know that's a guy who's gonna knock some heads and make some plays out there.

Carla's a fuckin' bitch...can't want to see her get her comeuppance. At first, I looked at Michael as being somewhat of a prick, but I can understand why he would be at times. I liked the scene when the Latin/Cuban guy (can't remember his name) was sitting in the questioning room when all of a sudden, the undercover cop/agent lady comes walking in (can't remember her fuckin' name either).

Here's an interesting piece of news for WNBA fans.
