Man, I had Riley tagged as my next pick. Good to see him get his due here though. He also never made a Pro Bowl, which I'm still trying to comprehend.

A Five Guys might also be in the works here, so I'll have to look into that.

The final episode was alright...the fight was pretty amusing but it didn't amount to much in the end. The rest was pretty much the usual end-of season fluff.

A nice surprise to have this guy as my last pick. Dickie Moore 6 All-Star Games played 2-time NHL All-Star 1st team 1-time NHL All-Star 2nd team 2-time Art Ross Trophy winner #31 on The Hockey News list of 100 greatest hockey players I'll also post my lines later.

I'll go with... Denis Irwin

Will and Dave's antics during and after that foursome they had on last week's episode were classic. Reminded me exactly of two of my college buddies.

I think it'd be even more interesting if it was a player without all the academic problems that Jennings had.

We're finally getting a Sonic here in October, so I'm pretty excited about that.

Back to defense with... Nilton Santos

Kenny Easley 5x Pro Bowl selection (1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1987) 3x 1st Team All-Pro (1983, 1984, 1985) NFL 1980s All-Decade Team 1984 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Easley was taken ahead of Ronnie Lott in the 1981 draft and many people say he was just as good or even better than Lott. His career was cut short by an unfortunate kidney ailment (from taking too many painkillers) but he accomplished quite a bit during his short career. Bill Walsh: Charlie Joiner: Ronnie Lott:

Yeah, it was. Unfortunately that little shit Nadal won but it was still a great match.

Well in that case, I'll take... Jackie Smith 5x Pro Bowl selection (1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970) 5x All-Pro selection (1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970) There's quite a few teams left without a TE, and not a lot of top-tier ones available, so I felt that I had better get one soon. Smith is probably most known for being the "sickest man in America" during Super Bowl XIII, but before that, he was an excellent TE for the Cardinals (then in St. Louis). He averaged 16.5 yards per reception for his 16-year career, which is outstanding, even when you adjust for the era that he played in. He was also a great blocker, so I don't have to lose that part of the game at that position. And he even ran the ball 38 times for 327 yards and 2 TD's to boot.

So...do I need to re-pick now?
-
EDIT: Nothing to see here.

I think the main problem is PM's not being sent. I've noticed a couple cases where someone who was up to pick never did (and they were logged in). This leads me to believe that they didn't receive any notice that they were up. I don't mind waiting, but it'd be nice to have a better pace to this thing like the hockey and soccer drafts.

Burgers easy, especially with BBQ sauce and bacon.

Martin St. Louis 2004 Art Ross, Hart, and Lester B. Pearson winner 4-time NHL All-Star 2004 NHL All-Star 1st team 2007 NHL All-Star 2nd team He's small, but he's a damn good player too. Gives my team that shot of "electricity" that I need. Also leaves me with five former Hart winners on my squad.

Probably not a surprise, but it sounds like Brian McNamee's syringes have Roger Clemens' DNA on them. Story

Bah, wanted Wisniewski as my other guard.

Pretty much the same deal for me as some others; love the show, but tend to forget about it.

18/20...forgot about the Senate deal and I did have the right Chief Justice at first but I changed the answer.

Almost 250 picks in and this guy still hasn't been taken? Gotta be a steal right there. Sid Abel 1949 Hart Trophy winner 3-time NHL All-Star 2-time NHL All-Star 1st Team 2-time NHL All-Star 2nd Team #85 on The Hockey News list of 100 greatest hockey players A member of the original "Production Line", Abel gives me five centers now, but him and Alex Delvecchio can play left wing if needed. Also, it'll be interesting to have Abel and Maurice Richard on the same team.
