What's with all these teams blowing huge leads to the Cavs? Kings are the latest team to do so. And damn I hate LeBron, but he pretty much smacked down any talk of Wade winning MVP with his performance the last few games.

Of course I've got to go with a Tiger here, and not a bad one at that. Ty Cobb

LOL...Bay City's finest right there. Didn't see any of his games but I saw plenty of highlights on TV when I was in high school (his town's about 45 min. north of mine). He was suspended earlier this season for allegedly hitting a female student...great guy that Devendorf.

Bill Davidson has passed away at 85 (or 86, different outlets are saying different ages). Hell of an owner for many years...R.I.P. Mr. D.

If I take that 11:30 spot (or 10:30 since Al wants that last spot), does that mean I can pick tonight?

Wait a minute, Uncrustables has grilled cheese? WTF?

In other news, Travis Henry can now field his own offense as he recently had twins, upping his scorecard to 11 kids with 10 different women. Surprisingly enough, Henry's having a little trouble paying that child support. Time to get that vascetomy, Travis. Link

I've just started doing this thing. Got up to 3, but I'm back at square one now.

Apparently, Andre Smith blew his Pro Day workout. Talk about costing yourself some serious coin...he might not even make the 1st round at this point (although I'd still be a little surprised if he did). http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=526524

Umm...I think we're forgetting what time it really is. Also: [Chorus: John Cena] Your time is up, my time is now You can't see me, my time is now It's the franchise, boy I'm shinin' now You can't see me, my time is now! [John Cena] In case you forgot or fell off I'm still hot - knock your shell off My money stack fat plus I can't turn the swell off The franchise, doin' big bid'ness, I live this It's automatic I win this - oh you hear those horns, you finished A soldier, and I stay under you fightin' Plus I'm stormin' on you chumps like I'm thunder and lightning Ain't no way you breakin' me kid, I'm harder than nails Plus I keep it on lock, like I'm part of the jail I'm slaughtering stale, competition, I got the whole block wishing they could run with my division but they gone fishing - - with no bait, kid your boy hold weight I got my soul straight, I brush your mouth like Colgate In any weather I'm never better your boy's so hot you'll never catch me in the next man's sweater If they hate, let 'em hate, I drop ya whole clan Lay yo' ass down for the three second tan [Chorus] [Tha Trademarc] Yeah, uh It's gonna be what it's gonna be Five pounds of courage buddy, bass tint pants with a gold T Uh - it's a war dance and victory step A raw stance is a gift, when you insist it's my rep John Cena, Trademarc, you all are so-so And talk about the bread you make but don't know the recipe for dough though Aimin' guns in all your photos, that's a no-no When this pop, you'll liplock, your big talk's a blatant no-show See what happens when the ice age melt You see monetary status is not what matters, but it helps I rock a timepiece by Benny if any The same reason y'all could love me is the same reason y'all condemn me A man's measured by the way that he thinks Not clothing lines, ice links, leather and minks I spent 20 plus years seekin' knowledge of self So for now Marc Predka's livin' life for wealth [Chorus 2x]

Yeah, I didn't do well on the baseball HOF one either. I did get 115/120 FBS nicknames correct though (Arkansas St., Florida Intl., Louisiana Tech, Louisiana-Monroe, and UAB were the ones I missed). I've done well on some others but they were probably the type that were easy for everyone so I won't bother listing them. EDIT: Tried the FCS one and got 28/125 (not that I expected to do well). I'm sure Harley Quinn would get a perfect score though lol.

I had surgery in 3rd grade to correct an undescended testicle. Couldn't do any recreational stuff for awhile, but other than that, things were fine.

Pretty sweet that Natasha Bedingfield had a crush on you.

Ironic cus you're from Detriot. Lol. NotE; I'm drunk. I can tell, seeing as I'm not from Detroit.

Yeah, that was a must-win game for Michigan. They probably need to win their 1st-round Big Ten Tournament game (either against Iowa or Indiana) to solidify their NCAA tournament spot. It'll be interesting to see how many Big Ten teams ultimately get in, because as many as 9 teams have a shot (even Northwestern, who's never been to the Big Dance). I'm guessing 7, but we'll see.

I think the rationale for T.O. going to Indy is that Peyton's one of the few players in the league that would command enough respect to the point where T.O. can't act out of line without facing major consequences. There are other leaders like Bob Sanders and Dwight Freeney that can help police the locker room as well. Plus the Colts are a consistent winner, so T.O. wouldn't have to face as many ups and downs as he's had with previous teams. If Dungy were still around, it might be more realistic but I can't imagine the Colts wan't T.O. anywhere near a rookie head coach though.

Looks like Cowboys' fans are gonna be seeing more of Roy "1st down" Williams this year.

So um...how about that Bachelor finale, huh?

Cochran Jr. Don McLean Avery Brooks Annie Leibovitz Sting Phil Oakey Glenn Anderson Jana Novotná Glen Wesley Eddie Guardado Kelly Ripa (only one I knew off the top of my head) James Root (Slipknot guitarist) Tiffany Tara Dawn Holland (Miss America 1997) Aaron Mckie Scott Schoeneweis Proof John Thornton (former Titan, current Bengal) Primož Brezec Buster Davis (the Chargers' WR)

Definitely sticking with Pierce and Okur, and probably going with Milsap as my 3rd.

I'm staying in as well, haven't thought about my keepers though. Just had a great week against the top team but I'm still a few games out of the playoffs.
-
Surprised no one mentioned this before, it's been a pretty big story in the news the last week or so. AP link

Randy Smith also had this obsession with making deals with the Astros and Padres (he had ties to both teams). I think Brad Ausmus was involved in at least 4-5 transactions with the Tigers during that time period. As far as Millen's record vs. Al Davis, Millen had a better record over the past 5-6 seasons (basically everything after the Raiders/Bucs SB), which is what some people choose to focus on. Also, Oakland could set a record this year with 7 straight 11-loss seasons. Millen's clearly worse, but a lot of people in the media do focus on the Raiders' record in the years following their SB appearance.

There's a rumor of a big 3-team deal that would include Amare to Toronto and Bosh to Chicago. Link
