That's because you have me down as picking Guy Carbonneau (which I did not). I should only have 17 on my roster.

Not much discussion going on in this thread, so I'll just throw this article out there (it has been a topic of discussion on sports talk radio). Some curious rankings and omissions there...

I found geometry and trigonometry to be fairly easy in high school. I had a little more trouble with algebra but I did well enough. EDIT: I also took calculus in high school. Pretty rough stuff, but I got my C and moved on. In college, I basically just took the standard algebra and pre-calculus courses to get that requirement out of the way.

I'll go ahead and take my last defenseman. Bill Gadsby 8-time NHL All-Star 3-time NHL All-Star 1st team 4-time NHL All-Star 2nd team #99 on The Hockey News list of 100 greatest hockey players Ugly lookin' mofo, but I'll gladly take him on my team.

I'm gonna take another WR named Charles. Charlie Joiner 3x Pro Bowl selection (1976, 1979, 1980) 1980 NFL 1st Team All-Pro #100 on The Sporting News list of 100 greatest football players An exceptional route runner, Joiner is a nice compliment to the bigger, more physical Taylor on the other side. Opposing DB's are definitely gonna have a hard time keeping up with his speed and quickness. The last line of Joiner's Hall of Fame bio reads like this: Sounds like a keeper to me.

Need to get some D on my roster so... Gaetano Scirea

QUOTE (Тайг @ Jun 30 2008, 08:27 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> if i'm writing something substansial... a match for the fed, a story, an essay, a letter to someone important, etc... then i pull out my big-girl capitalization... but for IMs and message boards and informal communications, i don't bother. i'm a shitty typist as it is, and half the time when i DO try to do caps, i seem to be too retardedly uncoordinated to get the shift and letter keys in the right order or whatnot, and i end up going back to fix a shitonne of lower-case-but-should-be-upper-case-i-used-the-fucking-shift-wtf. i do, however, try to use caps for proper nouns. that's my story and i'm sticking to it. i hate when people get anal about shit like that. don't you have any real drama to deal with? On a similar note, I hate when people declare themselves the "winner" of some Internet arugment when the other person mispells something or forgets to put a period on the end of a sentence or some other stupid shit like that. Example: "Payton Manning is a better QB than Tom Brady!" "Well, you can't even spell Peyton right, so all your credibility is lost (I win, hardy har-har)!!!" Fuck outta here with all that.

What can you do with chicken that you can't do with fish? Fish parmesan doesn't sound particularly appealing to me, for one...

I'll be here...

Dorsett was the player I was referring to. Anyways, I can't hold out any longer for a WR so... Charley Taylor 8x Pro Bowl selection (1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975) 1967 NFL 1st Team All-Pro NFL 1960s All-Decade Team 1964 UPI NFL-NFC Rookie of the Year 70 Greatest Redskins Redskins' Ring of Fame ASU Sports Hall of Fame #85 on The Sporting News list of 100 greatest football players Started out as a RB, but eventually turned into the NFL's all-time leading receiver when he retired. He's much lower on the all-time lists now, but he put up some great stats for his era. Taylor gives me a nice target for Elway to throw to, as well as a great downfield blocker. An amazingly talented athlete.

Speaking of sauces, does anyone else remember when McDonalds had hot mustard sauce?

Rivaldo

Miguel Cabrera with a walk-off double and the Tigers are at .500 for the first time all season...nice work.
-
Damn, it's hard finding another defenseman... Allan Stanley

It was a pretty uninspiring draft for the Pistons, especially considering the talent that was still out there in the 2nd round, but I think their big moves are gonna come in free agency so things could still work out alright.

Angle=25 Complementary=65 Supplementary=155 Don't ask.

Agree, it's just an old and tired formula now.

I was hoping to take Stallworth next round, but hey, you can't have everyone (wanted Gates as well).

Gabriel Batistuta

Thank God the Tigers pulled that one out. Ugly ass game (20 Detroit LOB's, WTF?) but a great ending. Sheff's bounced back pretty nicely from that injury.

There's Jack Wilson I suppose.

Chicken without a doubt...the possibilities are endless with it.
