I thought David Archuleta was Kinetic and EHME was (no longer is) David Aceveda? As for the South, I've only been to tourist attractions in Florida (none which would really qualify as the Deep South), and Atlanta for like a minute (airport), so I can't really make a call here.

There weren't many memorable moments for me in middle school (which was a Catholic school, BTW). Every level of school I've been the quiet, loner guy, so nothing really changed. The most notable thing I did was hit some kid in 8th grade for making fun of me during a class overnight trip (and scared off others in the process). Also, 8th grade was when I started to slack off and become a major procrastinator in school. Question for the forum...did you guys have dances in middle school/junior high? We had several each year (either at my school, or at one of the other Catholic schools). Of course we had just as much "freak dancing" (as we called it back then) and hip-hop music as any public school (although my school was kinda strict with the teacher supervision). Usually there was some bullshit drama going on, but I had no part of any of that.

I was thinking the same thing as well...seemed like he was only in his late-20s, early-30s when he was on those Lakers' championship teams.

Who wants some?

I'm very happy to have this guy on my team. Bobby Jones 1975 ABA All-Rookie 1st Team 1-time ABA All-Star 1-time All-ABA 2nd Team 2-time ABA All-Defensive 1st Team 1983 NBA Sixth Man of the Year 4-time NBA All-Star 8-time NBA All-Defensive 1st Team 1-time NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team My next pick deviates a little from the defensive plan, but I wanted to get some more scoring in the frontcourt by taking one of the best 2-3 players available among active players. Amare Stoudemire 2003 NBA Rookie of the Year 3-time NBA All-Star 1-time All-NBA 1st Team 2-time All NBA 2nd team

I loved how some people pulled out the "No Democrat has won the presidency without winning West Virginia since 1916" card. "AND HERE COMES THE CLINTONS!!!"

True.

Great win for Detroit (6 straight ECF appearances now). Now they can rest Chauncey for a few extra days. As far as the LeBron stuff goes, it was pretty much the inordinate amount of hype he received before he even played in an NBA game that turned me off some (as well as playing for a division rival). Even MJ never had that amount of hype that early. My hate for LeBron has died down a little though as he lives up to his billing.

Fuck, I was gonna take Thurmond with one of my next 2 picks...hopefully the other one stays on the board.

Garlic Bread (I like Corn on the Cob, but I don't love it like Garlic Bread) French Fries easy (White Rice is too plain to go on any further)
-
They drafted John David Booty, but I'm pretty sure Jackson's still the starter.
-
Eh, I'll take a stab at it.
-
Fuck man...I was hoping to take him next time my picks came around

Well, after a long-ass wait, I'm gonna get my PG here and select... Jason Kidd 1995 Co-Rookie of the Year 9-time NBA All-Star 5-time All-NBA 1st Team 1-time All-NBA 2nd Team 4-time All-NBA Defensive 1st Team 5-time All-NBA Defensive 2nd Team 100 career triple-doubles Things get a little interesting now. I need a center and a lot of the great ones have gone off the board already. My next pick had a brief career, but since we're talking about players in their prime... Bill Walton 1978 NBA MVP 1977 NBA Finals MVP 1986 NBA Sixth Man of the Year 2-time NBA All-Star 1978 All-NBA 1st Team 1977 All-NBA 2nd Team 2-time All-NBA Defensive 1st Team Named to NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team

Hey, if ya wanna see Nick Hogan (Bollea) get sentenced, turn it to CNN Headline News. EDIT: And he gets 8 months in jail, 5 years probation, 500 hours community service, and a 3-year suspension on his driver's license.

Shouldn't Chris Redman be the starter? I think Atlanta, Oakland, and Miami will end up being the worst 3. San Fran and K.C. (even with the draft they had) could make a run for it as well.

Stealing material from ESPN, huh?
-
We didn't have O's, but we did have G's (good) and V's (very good). And E's instead of F's once you got to 4th grade.

It's looking like D'Antoni might sign on with the Bulls. The financial part is still being figured out.

Ever try them with mayo? I did because they said that in Pulp Fiction, and it wasn't good. They're actually pretty good with mustard. I like ranch dressing a lot too. Or dipping them in a shake. This here is really a lot of why fries are, essentially, the perfect side dish. My sister does this, specifically, in Wendy's Frosties.

EDIT: wrong thread

MJ ALL DAY!!! (Coming from a Pistons' fan, this isn't right but what can ya do?)

Wow...picking all the (presumed) underdogs, huh? I mean it could happen, but I'd be very surprised if it did.
