Meh...I know that's how Orton generally operates, but I'm not really buying it right after a Twist of Fate on the floor.
-
Yeah that was fucked up. But I should've won outright anyways...I didn't realize Okur was hurt and I could've played Ridnour for some extra assists...damn.
-
Well...that was pretty lame.
-
That was awesome.
-
Well, I certainly wasn't expecting either JBL or Matt Hardy...interesting.
-
Curry should've threw the ball to the guy at the top of the key as soon as he was doubled but oh well...let's go UNC!!!
-
I believe Bilas already made that comment a few weeks ago on ESPN but that's beside the point...I like Hansbrough a lot but that was a little over the top.

I bet you were pleased to hear that Matsui's on the DL now due to an anal fissure

Talk about getting your soul taken from you...I know Memphis is the better team but 30 points better? Clearly they came out with something to prove. And Villanova's getting beat pretty bad as well (somewhat expected though).

I've got both but I prefer Facebook mainly for the reasons Mik stated. It's a lot easier to use. Not really a fan of the applications though.

O-line prospect Heath Benedict dead at 24.

Fuck you West Virginia.

I have no clue, but I'll give it a shot anyways. AL East Red Sox Yankees Blue Jays Rays Orioles AL Central Indians Tigers (WC) Twins Royals White Sox AL West Mariners Angels Rangers A's NL East Mets Braves (WC) Phillies Nats Marlins NL Central Cubs Reds Brewers Cards Astros Pirates NL West Dodgers Rockies Padres D'Backs Giants World Series: Tigers over Mets (hopefully)

I've only seen the clip a couple times (and I can't find it anywhere right now) but some Bears WR named Wendell Davis tore BOTH his patella tendons while running a route during a game at the Vet back in '93.

I have 10 of the Sweet 16 teams (would've had 11 if I hadn't changed Wash St. at the last moment). I only have G'Town missing from my elite 8, and my Final Four is still intact.

Keith Closs. 7'3", barely over 200 pounds. http://theassociation.blogs.com/the_associ...per_legend.html For the best freshman question, I'd say it's Beasley hands down.

Richard Williams is at it again.

Belmont shouldn't have been playing keep-away on their last couple possessions. Oh well.
-
Medium well.

I think one of the main problems (at least with the women's college game) is that it's the same damn teams at the top every year. Many fans get tired of the same 'ol same 'ol (unless it's a team they're rooting for of course); it's way more magnified when you've got Tennesee and UConn ruling women's basketball for a good 15 years.

The only notable surprises I have are Kansas St. in the Sweet 16 and West Virginia in the Elite 8. Other than that, it's quite a bit of chalk. I almost picked Georgia over Xavier, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on that one. I've never really been an upset-happy person to begin with.

Well, with just about every bubble team losing tonight, Arizona St. has as good a shot to make it as any other team in this spot.

How exactly are we supposed to remember this winning streak (assuming the Rockets don't make it far in the playoffs)? Under normal circumstances, not winning the NBA title or at least the Western Conference would be a huge disappointment coming off a streak like that, especially since the other 3 teams who won at least 20 in a row won it all that season. It's not like the Rockets were expected to be title contenders though, especially after Yao went down.

Looks like 2-time defending champ Florida's bubble is about to burst. They're getting killed by nearly 30 to below-average Alabama right now. Obviously this isn't the same cast of characters, but I figured it might've been nice to see them get in and make a decent run at it. EDIT: Never mind.
