For me, being a big Jeff Hardy fan when I first started watching WWE on a regular basis, this is extremely disappointing news. Hopefully, Jeff can get his act together and get back in the good graces of the company, but I don't feel good about his chances at all.

Thoughts on Darren McFadden anyone? It seems like more and more people are knocking him for different reasons as time goes by. Some have even suggested that Rashard Mendhall is the better prospect. Most common complaints I hear or read about McFadden: 1. Goes down on 1st contact/lack of leg drive. 2. At 6'1 1/2", 211, with a smaller lower-body, he's built more like a WR. 3. Fumbles too much. 4. Various character concerns. Is there any chance that he drops out of the top-10 like some have suggested? EDIT: I've also heard talk that Sedrick Ellis may be the 1st DT taken over Glenn Dorsey, but that's another discussion.

Looks like Houston didn't get the memo that they were supposed to fade away into oblivion after Yao got hurt. Only the 4th team ever to win at least 19 straight and now they're only a game out of 1st in the West.

I'll probably be keeping Pierce, Okur, and Mike Miller. Felton's also a possibility.

Alexander better not be in a Detroit uniform next season. They re-signed Tatum Bell (not that he's all that great, but the Lions need depth at that position) for 1 year and it sounds like they may draft a RB, maybe Mendenhall.

Mott Community College Bears Hometown team, usually one of the top junior college teams in the nation.

Thoughts on competitive long-driving anyone? I'll watch if I happen to see it on but I don't know...it seems like it takes itself way too seriously (especially when you watch the ESPN pieces on some of the contestants).

Actually, Lemon's with the Jags now... They picked up Josh McCown from the Raiders.

Didn't realize that one of the members of Playa died recently. Link Pretty much the only song that got any play, but he did produce quite a few hits.

Well here's the other version A personal favorite of mine Bear fans should love this (someone else can post the Reggie Theus version if they so wish)

I guess my point is that a story that broke early in the morning shouldn't still be labeled as breaking news at 6 in the evening. A minor gripe I suppose. Going on to something else, how the hell does some random soccer highlight end up being #1 on Top Plays so often? (and I'm not even a soccer hater, I played the damn game for about 8 years as a youth)

"Favre-Center?" And why do they keep showing his retirement as "breaking news" on the ticker?

I remember Hot 'n Now, all the ones in my area have been closed for years though. As far a Chuck E. Cheese goes...the one in my town. Anyone remember Discovery Zone? I had about 2 or 3 birthdays there as a kid.

Talespin Dinosaurs Land of the Lost Mighty Ducks (lol) Someone else has to remember this one

Obviously as a Lions' fan I'm glad to see him go. I'm still pretty bitter that Detroit could never beat Favre at Lambeau (even when the Lions fielded playoff teams in the 90s or when the Packers were 4-12 a couple years ago) but what can ya do? Great player, respect him and all that, but I definitely won't shed a tear for him. I'm interested to see how Rodgers does, usually Jeff Tedford QB's don't fare too well in the NFL (Akili Smith, Joey Harrington, Kyle Boller, etc...). I'd like to think that Detroit can be a factor in the NFC North next season with some better players being brought in, but with Millen still in charge, I won't be holding my breath anytime soon.

Pistons-'Sheed leaving Horry wide open in the corner at the end of Game 5 in the '05 Finals. Red Wings-Losing to the arch-rival Avalanche in the Western Conference Finals in '96 after winning a NHL record 62 games. Tigers-Even with all those 100-loss seasons from the mid-90s through the early 2000s, the worst for me now is the Tigers pitchers suddenly forgeting how to throw to 1st base in the '06 World Series. Lions-Paul Edinger (from MSU no less) kicking a 54-yard FG in the Silverdome to knock the Lions out the playoffs in 2000. Ford then proceeded to bring in Matt Millen and Millen subsequently blew up the team to the tune of a 31-81 record since '01. UM football-Appalachian St. UM basketball-I don't remember Webber's time-out all that well, so I'll go with Michigan losing to Minnesota in the 1st round of the Big Ten Tournament in '06. They only needed another win or two to get in the NCAA Tournament, and they completely shit the bed, settling for another NIT berth. Going on 10 years now without qualifying (which is really technically 13 years due to forfeited wins), one of the longer current droughts for a BCS-conference team.

With the 45th pick, the Detroit Lions select Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona Cason's a guy who can play in the Tampa-2 system that Rod Marinelli and Joe Barry run. He's a good tackler, which is a major plus considering many of the Lions' corners last year were average to bad tacklers. Detroit already got Leigh Bodden from Cleveland in the Shaun Rogers trade and are looking into signing Brian Kelly from Tampa. Even if the Lions bring in Kelly, they still need depth at corner. The ideal situation would be for Cason to be the 3rd CB with Bodden and Kelly starting. That way, Cason can be used more as a punt returner until he's ready to replace the 32-year-old Kelly as a starter.

You know, as much shit as Kentucky gets here, they're only one game back in the SEC East and have played themselves at least in the conversation for a Tourney bid. They've got a few tough games coming up though (including the SEC Tournament), and had some BAD losses early in the year so we'll see. In unrelated news, Michigan handed Northwestern its first Big Ten win last night. Still got a long ways to go...

Well, if the Pistons make it to the Finals, I sure hope they don't play the Jazz cuz they OWN Detroit right now. 6 straight now I believe.
-
Damn...the Rockets just can't win.

The ESPN ticker said the Vikings are getting a 6th-round pick. As far as Rogers goes, the latest I heard was that the rumors of him going to Denver were premature. The Lions are going to negotiate 'til Friday with several teams. They're looking for at least a 2nd or a 3rd, otherwise, they're keeping him (unless they get a deal at or near the draft). Also, Kyle Orton got a 1-year extension with the Bears.

I liked the Spicy Cajun fish sandwich they had at Arby's. I'm probably one of those rare people that enjoys that place though.
