God, Iowa's trying to screw me over 2 weeks in a row.
-
True. There's a reason why Lions' fans called him BMW (Big Mike Williams), and it wasn't for his big-play ability.

Beamer Ball strikes again.

Pretty exciting ending there to the Lakers/Rockets game.
-
Well, not the white ones. Has there ever been a great white corner? Paul Krause (local guy, career INT leader with 81). Of course he played in the 60s and 70s but still...
-
And they're just now reporting it on ESPN. Not even on the website yet.
-
Jonathan "RapeFace" Papelbon?
-
Of course Dre Bly had to go out and cost the Lions a 1st-place tie (fucker probably did it on purpose).
-
Mort just reported that the Cowboys and Romo agreed to a 6-year, $67.5 million dollar deal.
-
Joe Girardi's gonna be the new Yankees' manager per ESPN.
-
It seemed like Rosenfels was about ready to unseat Carr last year. He'll probably get his shot.
-
That would've been funny as hell if it had gone.
-
Griese had a nice Grossman-like performance against the Lions.

Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if New England dominated Indy next week. Obviously not to the tune of 52-7, but you know that Belichick's gonna play up the fact that everyone is calling them cheaters and classless and that the Colts have played a tougher schedule and all that. Add the fact that Indy has won the last 3 meetings and are the defending Super Bowl champs, and that's even more motivation right there.
-
Belichick's pissed now.
-
I guess there's an NCAA-mandated rule for fans to storm the field after a win now.
-
In another crazy game, Weber St. beat Portland St. 73-68 to set an NCAA all divisions record for combined points. And there were no OT's either. Portland State's QB had 9 TD passes.
-
Did anyone else see that play by Trinity University? I'm sure it'll find it's way onto Youtube but there were like a million laterals on the last play to win it (I guess it was 61 yards and 14 laterals). ESPN's been showing the play.
-
Ohio St. putting the beatdown on Penn St. 34-10 God I hope Michigan can get the job done against the Buckeyes, cuz I can't stomach another OSU title game appearance.
-
Michigan is not a contender unless almost no teams finish with 1 loss or less; that loss to Oregon is forgivable, but the App. State game pretty much kills them. Yeah, I originally thought he just meant contenders for the conference titles.
-
Well...there's that team called Michigan that everyone had dead and buried after the first 2 games. I guess you could say UCLA too, but they're mad inconsistent. EDIT: never mind, I guess you mean NC contenders, not conference contenders
-
UConn up 16-2 on South Florida (now 16-9) Nebraska up 17-3 on Texas
-
Michigan trying to pull another App St. performance, losing 10-0 to Minnesota in the 2nd.
-
Man, Rutgers got worked big time today. EDIT: Iowa storming the field against Michgan St.? Please. And Oregon gets on the board first.
