I wonder why Miami isn't gonna try John Beck at QB. He's pretty old for a rookie (26) so I would think they would want to get him out on the field sooner rather than later. Miami's season is pretty much lost anyways and he probably wouldn't do any worse than Cleo Lemon will do.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas-C Cleveland Cavaliers EDIT-new pic, other one is fucking up for some reason

75 pass attempts?!?! That's video game stuff right there.

Well it doesn't look like there's gonna be a Boise St.-like run this year.

Regarding pancakes, I don't hate them, but I'm definitely taking waffles or fench toast over them. Regarding Gatorade, anyone remember Lemon Ice?

I finally got around to playing it after fixing my 360 issue. Pretty much the same sentiments as everyone else. I did also feel like the enemies were easier, even for normal (gonna attempt legendary soon). Haven't got around to multi-player yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I haven't been paying attention all game long, but it sounds like D-backs fans are booing for no apparent reason.

You know, I remember 2 years ago when Miami and Florida St. faced off in the opening game and Kyle Wright and Drew Weatherford (sophomores at the time) were supposed to have promising careers. Fast forward to 2 years later, and it's a constant shuffle at QB for both teams (like tonight with FSU). Part of the reason why these teams aren't what they used to be.

I guess Carr's questionable or whatever. They do have Matt Moore (you know, the guy who helped Oregon St. beat USC last year). It would be fun to see Vinny throw a TD so he can extend that awesome streak of most consecutive seasons with at least 1 TD pass.

John Schuerholz is stepping down as GM of the Braves.

Great game between Navy and Pitt.

Yeah it is sad to see what happened to Strong. He's one of the last of a dying breed at fullback (Tony Richardson, Cory Schlesinger, and William Henderson among some of the others who are at or near the end). Lorenzo Neal's one of the few still going strong.

Up 31 points in my FF matchup, my opponent had Crayton, Witten, and Folk and somehow managed to get enough points to beat me. Other than that, this was a great game.

Andre Woodson anyone? And speaking of the NFC South, the Saints are gonna have a hard time winning in Seattle next week. Pretty soon the paper bags are gonna come back. I guess Tampa's got the inside track to the division; it's hard for me to envision David Carr or Joey Harrington leading their teams to the top.

Delhomme is done

Leinart-broken collarbone Guess he doesn't have to share the QB duties anymore.

And the Pats cover...barely EDIT: On another note, is the Lions secondary the worst in NFL history? They're allowing opossing QB's to complete 70% of their passes.

Colt Brennan went down with a knee injury...not sure how serious it is.

Who's better, Hester or Brian Leonard (when he was at Rutgers of course). EDIT: Or even Owen Schmitt, another do-everything fullback

Bowl teams don't play division 2 teams. I mean I'm sure they could, (not specific on the rules) but they don't. Stanford lost to UC-Davis in '05. They're 1-AA now but were D-2 at the time. Well...I tried.

Well even I knew Michigan was capable of pulling a stunt like losing to App. St. USC on the other hand, has been pretty much unbeatable at home during the Carroll era. Plus Stanford is...Stanford (didn't they lose to a D-2 team last year?).
