Lately it's been looking like the Lions may end up taking Quinn. I was an advocate for Joe Thomas, but due to free agency, the O-line seems to be in better shape. I still think there's more pressing needs than QB. Yes Kitna won't be around forever but for now I think he's good enough (among the league leaders in passing yards) and McCown has potential as a backup. Solidifying the O-line and running game will help him cut down on his turnovers. I won't be mad if they pick Quinn but I think they might be best served to trade down and get the best DE, MLB, or CB available. The media also hasn't ruled out them taking Calvin Johnson. I would love to see what the reaction would be to that.

I'm about as far from an Ohio State apologist as possible, but even I can see that they're far from a lucky team. Sure teams shouldn't blow 20-pt. leads, but how about giving credit to OSU? Once again, they're not just the Oden/Conley show like everyone here says. And I actually have to give Matta some credit for his substitutions late in the game. People love to say that Tennessee was the superior team. I just don't see how they were better coming into the game than a team that has only 3 losses to Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Florida, all on the road. You guys are basically insinuating that Tennessee was a top-5 team. There's a reason why they were only a 5 seed.

Man if Ohio State lost, all my brackets would have had to go into the fire. Just goes to show that the Buckeyes have players other than Oden and Conley. This should serve as a wake-up call to them. On a side note, Tommy Amaker got fired from Michigan. It's about damn time.

Don't sleep on the Pistons. They demolished the Suns 105-83 in Phoenix. I realize that the Suns were coming off the 2-OT thriller in Dallas but it's not like any ol' team can come in there and hold Phoenix to 83. Webber's been effective in his role but he can score 20+ points at times as well. Remember this team has about as much experience as anyone.

I barely managed to stay below double-digit losses for the 1st round but I'm still struggling. By my count it looks like there were 5 upsets according to seeds and 3 of them were in 8/9 matchups so in reality there were only 2 true upsets (and I imagine a lot of ppl had VCU and Winthrop).

I didn't catch that. I pretty much picked Albany as a shot in the dark cuz I'd never really been overly impressed with UVA and usually one of those 13-15 seeds pull through each year. I've got more chalk in the later rounds though.

My two outlandish Sweet 16 picks, Albany and Creighton, are now both out. I had Winthrop but so did everyone else so that doesn't help much. Can we please get some damn upsets?

13-3 for me. The only team that made me look real bad was Stanford. Seemed like ppl were pretty high on them so I went with them. Guess I should've factored the location of the game more heavily. None of the 3 I had winning in the next round anyways so I'm good.

Yeah 5 years and 22 mil for Washington. I believe him and Stallworth were teamates in college at Tennessee. Quite a bit of money for someone who's done little in his career.
