That doesn't mean we can't hope.

That was an odd finish to the tag match. I'd much rather see Taker/Cena than Taker/Batista.

Managed to wake up to catch the match live. Federer is just SICK. I just hope he gets that thorn(Nadal/French Open) outta his side. I generally abide by the "root against teams/individuals who win all the time unless they're your team/guy/gal" rule but I'll never get tired of seeing Federer win.
-
Well I saw some of this match and Federer is just simply a MAN amongst boys. I'm not too fond of Roddick so I'm glad he was taken care of accordingly. The final on paper appears to be a formality at this point. I would love to see Federer break through at the French this year and go on to establish himself as the G.O.A.T. in later years. As far as the women's side goes, I feel obligated to root for Serena since I'm black but I'm not a huge fan of hers so I'll ride with Sharapova.

I've only seen the RR from '01 to now, but one "oh shit" moment for me was when Snitsky knocked London off the apron. (in '05 I believe)

What's the background for all the Serena hate?

So...how about that new Nike basketball commercial huh?

Bears will win by playing the disrespect card
-
Yeah remember Marino lost one and Kelly lost four. It's not enough to just get there.

Michigan guy picks off Michigan guy.
-
Yeah the few ppl that dog Brady point to the fact that he's only led FG drives, not TD drives.
-
Man I knew they were gonna run it. So much for the FG scenario.

Where's Chad Jackson when you need him?
-
I guess Berman doesn't call him "Ricochet" for nothing.
-
Damn, I haven't seen Solomon Wilcots doing a game in forever. Damn, that's a big boy scoring that TD.
-
I mean it's possible, but the Patriots aren't generally the type of team to let this lead slip.
-
Well I had to miss most of the first game since I had a church activity. Going home, I heard on the radio that Bush was taunting Urlacher during his TD. I don't know if that had anything to do with the Bears stomping on the Saints afterwards or not. I picked the Colts and Saints, but I'm not disappointed since I wanted both to lose. I'm not seeing Indy coming back at this point.

Let's see... Bears/Saints-I'm taking the Saints on this one. Home-field isn't that big a factor to me. The Bears got shitted on by Carolina last year and almost lost to Seattle last week so New Orleans can most certainly come into Soldier Field and win. I don't care about all that dome-team bullshit. I really can't see them stopping the Deuce from running loose. Bush probably will have a tough time against a fast defense, but he'll break off a couple long ones. Brees should do well. Grossman will be good but I think Chicago needs more than good from him. He'll probably hit Berrian deep on one but that'll be about it. Jones/Benson will be fine but running the ball isn't gonna work in the long run when they need to score points. For me, it comes down to the fact that Chicago's D isn't playing as well as before. Saints 28 Bears 17 Colts/Pats-I hope New England wins but I just have a feeling the Colts are gonna pull this one out. Besides the fact that they're playing at home, the Colts D has improved a bunch. I don't think they'll play the way they did against the Chiefs and Ravens, but they won't be like they were in the regular season either. Peyton's thrown a bunch of picks lately but still very accurate. He'll make the necessary adjustments. I don't think either team will run the ball that well. This is as good a chance that the Colts will have to win an AFC title. I'm not anticipating that they're gonna blow this one. Obviously it would make for great drama if it came down to Vinatieri. We'll see. Colts 30 Pats 28

I heard on Fox Sports Radio that Sharapova was dropping F-bombs.

I'm sure this didn't help matters.

I think there was a point in time where Cena/Orton could have been a money match, and I saw them facing each other down the road, but now it doesn't look quite as compelling. They had some similarities. Both came to WWE around the same time, both started out as faces on Smackdown(Cena with his "ruthless aggression" & Orton getting "initiated" by Bob Holly), both eventually turned into cocky heels(Cena poking fun at other wrestlers such as Lesnar & Orton with his RNN segments coming off of injury), both won mid-card titles(Cena with the U.S. title & Orton with the I.C. title), somewhat similar wrestling styles, young, good looking etc...but now Orton's been buried numerous times and Cena hardly ever seems to lose. I would still have some interest in this match though because it's something different.

Well as I'm finally going to bed, Serena's playing right now on ESPN(against who ppl on here would call a "jobber"). She's got some green outfit on(kind of a cross between lime-green and Deion Branch glove-green). Of course her ass looks good as usual(Fun Fact: Venus and Serena were born in Saginaw, a half-hour north of where I live). Fun Fact for Leena: Malivai Washington's hometown of Swartz Creek is right next to mine.

I have to look at the game tape first, so I'll have my predictions later on in the week.
