No one does. I don't care what Michigan fans say. They were lucky to be that close the first time. Ohio State has their eyes on the prize. They won't be stopped. Um...correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall ANYONE on TV saying that Michigan was lucky to be in the game. In fact, some gave Michigan CREDIT for coming back from 14 down in a tough environment and having a chance to win. I'm pretty sure that these people know what they're talking about. And Ohio State is no sure bet to win against anyone. Sure, they should be favored, but as everyone should know after today, upsets happen. And no, I won't gripe if UM doesn't make b/c Florida is just as deserving.

No, they're not. It will be OSU/Michigan in Glendale. Even if Florida beats Arkansas by 50, if people had Michigan ahead of Florida beforehand, they're not going to change. Well yeah now the way Florida's playing they're not gonna make it. But my concern was that theoretically, the voters who thought Michigan was the second best team but put USC at #2 b/c of their anti-rematch belief would do the same for Florida if they just simply won.

Glad to see USC lose. I'm just tired of seeing them every year. Carroll was getting a little too high and mighty and needed to be humbled. As far as Florida/Michigan goes, I personally believe that Michigan is the better team. Florida is in a position to jump them though. This is where it hurts the Big Ten to have its season end early. In a Florida/OSU championship scenario, the big loser would be LSU cause I would think that a USC/Michigan Rose Bowl would be in order.

On Jim Rome is Burning, he was doing an interview with Monta Ellis when, lo and behold, Baron Davis comes up and gives him a shaving cream pie to the face! It appeared that Ellis had quite a bit of discomfort. Rome did an impromptu Q & A with Baron and he said Ellis was alright. He said Dunleavy put him up to it. The funny thing was that Ellis was just talking about how Baron was the guy that took him under his wing.

The thing I like most are the environmental hotspots. Makes for some pretty sweet action. That and the fact that you can do an aerial move on a table with someone on it which was not in previous games. The ultimate control move feature is pretty cool too.

I just got the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 for the 360. Gameplay ain't too bad, the graphics are pretty sweet, and of course, loads of match types. I haven't dived into the CAW or season mode yet. Definitely a lot better than any of the games i had on the original Xbox(one note-I did love the gameplay on the Legends of Wrestling series).

Taylor the QB lined up under center, walked away like he was gonna call timeout, and then the center direct snapped it to the RB who ran for the first down. Now they just scored a TD off that same drive.

I just saw something that caused me to go WHAT. THE. FUCK!?!? OK so it's Warren De La Selle vs. Muskegon for the Division 2 high school football championship at Ford Field. De La Selle was down by 2 with less than a minute and had the ball. One of their receivers caught a pass on a slant route and ran about 50 yards before fumbling the ball at the 1 while being tackled. One of Muskegon's players recovered it in the endzone and the game was over. I'll post the Youtube link whenever it pops up.

They really should just trade that pick to shore up draft picks, take a cheaper QB in the 3rd or 4th round and let Kitna teach him like he did with Palmer. The Lions need O-lineman and D-lineman. Joe Thomas, Gaines Adams, Quentin Moses, Sam Baker, Levi Brown, Jake Long, Lamar Woodley, Alan Branch, Justin Blalock, these are the types of names Detroit needs to be looking at. They need to draft from the inside-out. But they won't, of course. They refuse to learn from looking at teams like Arizona and Houston -- you can't win if you don't have a good offensive line. Add Oakland to that list. Funny thing is all four of those teams had/have high OL picks that didn't pan out in recent years: Houston with Tony Boselli in the expansion draft, Oakland with Gallery, Arizona with Leonard Davis(I think he would be a lot better at guard though), and Detroit with Backus(who was taken one pick after Michigan teammate Hutchinson in '01).
