The problem the wwe runs into is it's constantly chasing ratings and PPV buys, so it can never really slow burn a storyline. Basically they have a whole card of new storylines going into WM, and if they don't work, the card suffers - instead of stretching out good storylines and having epic culminations. Hardy finally winning the title, HBK vs Jericho blow-off both could have been saved for WM, but the wwe wants all PPV's to be equal. I like the idea of Cena vs Undertaker because there would be a real unknown winner - Cena could win that match, or Undertaker could keep his streak alive. HBK vs ©Jericho ©Edge(w Matt) vs Jeff Hardy(w Christian) John Cena vs The Undertaker HHH(w Flair and Batista) vs Orton(with Legacy) Mysterio vs Swagger© for ECW title Punk vs Regal for IC Title Benjamin vs MVP for US title Big Show vs Miz/Morrison for tag Titles MITB (JBL promises to win it and cash it in after the ME) Diva Battle Royal -

Meh, you'd also think Tomko would be straight with you. I mean there is nothing to gain by lying when you're not signing a guaranteed contract. I guess he got 90 days out of the wwe, but I also suspect he's burn a bridge pretty severly. -
14 years old I believe.

Personally, I don't think Alicia, Tiffany, The Bellas or Rosa deserve spots in this match when there are so many former divas that could get in instead. But I guess they don't want to leave anyone on the current roster out. I just think a lot of the former Divas are turning them down. I mean is there really a lot of Diva's out there that would be welcomed back and would want to come back for a one shot deal? -

I want to know how the same guy has so many damn accounts from 4-5 years ago - that's a helluva lot of forward planning. (turn off your pics, it works brilliantly) I pre-emptively blocked "Hot Young Wang" last week...

Finlay is horrid on the mic. MVP slipped and botched the finish.

Jericho vs Steamboat would be cool, but Roddy and Snuka have been over-exposed over the years as "legends", and Snuka moves around like he's 80 yo...

Jericho can't fight off four senior citizens, but Shane McMahon can take out Legacy...

Dolph is going to go the way of Braddock, Goldman and Kizarny any day now.

JBL vs Mysterio at WM. Ho-hum.

Not to mention that Cena used his Rumble shot in February last year. That sort of cheapened the point of winning... -

I give them kudo's - his posing bit is silly, and the slo-mo is played out. Not to mention his music doesn't fit.

Supposedly when Johnny Ace called Jackie Gayda to ask her to be in the Diva's battle royal she thought he was calling to fire Charlie. -

In the very least the wwe should sign Sonjay Dutt and pair him with Khali (ditch Ranjin Singh). Dutt could take bumps, unlike Singh, and you could even tag team the two with Dutt obviously doing most of the work. Hell Dutt could even be gimmicked as a Slumdog, but knowing Vince probably won't get aroudn to watching that movie until 2013. -

I like the idea of Mysterio/Bourne teaming up and added into the tag title mix (and would throw in Rhodes and Dibiase for that matter), however it leaves Swagger with nothing, unless Dreamer gets the spot. I could also see Swagger vs Mysterio vs Bourne for the ECW title -

Well we know she can't act for shit. Unless she was acting like a woman who was too damn camera aware and completely uncomfortable on camera - if that's the case then she was brilliant.

Botches that actually improved matches
Thanks for the Fish replied to Just call me Dan's topic in General Wrestling
I have to disagree here. I remember that when Brock faced Big Show at the prior Survivor Series, I was thinking it would be then when he would bust out the SSP, with Big Show being so heavy to get into position for the F5. But it was also around that time when I started saying to my friends, "Angle/Brock is the WM money match, just watch." So when the match did happen, it was all kinds of epic in my opinion. We all knew Brock could hit the SSP (there had been footage floating around of him in OVW nailing it), so when he went up at the end for the coup d'grace, it should have been a moment for the ages. Instead, it came across as someone who was trying something he couldn't do, and it really deflated the whole aura of the match. We all know it's worked, but when a move that's so contrived doesn't deliver, it kind of shatters the illusion. I agree completely. If Lesnar hit that SSP that would have been an epic match. That botch ruined the match. If he hit the move in the wwe before, then the botch might have added to the match. -
Isn't this like the 3rd week in a row some dipshit "raided" the Raw thread?
