There is absolutely nothing they can have in common. I don't care if she tastes like cotton candy. Maybe she's going for the Michelle McCool job security arrangement.

Modern day scripting of wrestling vs. the old days of doing promos
Thanks for the Fish replied to Spaceman Spiff's topic in The WWE Folder
Exactly. When you think about it, most shows have what 4-5 main characters to write for. The wwe has 80+ on screen personalities to worry about... -
Comments that which don't warrant a thread

Wwe remaking Chuck Norris classic "Missing in Action"... http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/conten...719d56817ed998b So who attempts to replace Chuck Norris? I assume Cena is deemed theatre release level, so I doubt he'd be tapped for a direct to video production. Ted Dibiase was a surprise choice for the Marine sequel, so it really could be anybody. I'll predict Batista or MVP gets the role. -
Boogeyman embraced his gimmick like few others. Between the bells he was nothing to write home about, but his entrance, and backstage segments were always solid. He probably could have been put in a tag team and stuck around for a while longer, but considering he tried to lie his way on to tough Enough when he was 40 years old, he must be 45 years old by now.

I hope the promo is Matt trashing Jeff about Jeff's recklessness/irresponsibility leading to his house burning down and his dog dying...

Breaking news from TMZ - Austin shaved off his goatee

A competitive loss to the Undertaker is better than a squash win over Kung Funaki.

Kozlov needs better ring gear (not the white trunks that looks like he's wearing underwear or a diaper) and needs a better finisher than a headbutt to the chest.

Kane is the drizzling shits. I guess at least this means he wont have a singles match. You know the wwe isn't going to keep him off the care.
-
That would be a let down. If Vince has big plans and a surprise - I'm thinking it's either Hogan or Austin.
-
Bah, initially it was announced Finlay vs Christian one-on-one. I guess TPTB didn't think that ME had enough juice...

Knee ligaments gone again? He just came back from that injury beginning of this year or so, missing most of 2008 with it. Said to be his neck this time around. -
From wwe.com Now I don't think Kidd has anything to do with this interview whatsoever - but it is interesting that they're playing up his haircut and explaining it. If he lets it grow a bit longer and uses whatever Nigel McGuinness uses to keep his hair spikey (I believe he said egg whites), it could actually be an interesting "gimmick".

Rumor on Florida Indies message board has Low-Ki injured and out of action for 6-8 months. To lend certain credence to this Kaval was "taken out" in a backstage segment at last nights FCW television tapings... -
I was referencing the real life marriage. I just assumed the HHH/Stephanie husband and wife reveal was a real life reveal, like when Vince was outed as owner, rather than a continuation of the Drive-thru wedding angle. I didn't watch the sit-down interview with JR and HHH, did they give an indication which marriage they were referencing? I'd much rather it be the drive-thru continuation because the real life relationship as part of the storyline world is another PARADOX.

Stephanie was Pedigreed at WM18 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHcUb1NN0u4...feature=related which is before they were married.

Probably the braintrust thought Scotty was trying to get himself over, making the story more about his bump than the Umaga squash. It's also proof-positive that they saw him as nothing more than a jobber. He had no future with the company. -
So HHH's real life marriage to Stephanie is a storyline now? Or did they get storyline married within the last couple of years? When HHH was shoving Vinces head into Big Shows ass that was just family hijinks? Pedigree your father-in-law is cool beans, but kicking him in the head is crossing the line? Was Stephanie stone cold stunnered since she has been married? All wrestling is real, but some wrestling is more real - makes no sense. I don't know why I watch this stuff, but I know why they're going back to pg programming - they get you when your young. Attracting new adult viewers is pretty much impossible. Marketing to adults is pretty hard as well - nobody wants to wear wwe t-shirts in public. The anonymity of the internet has probably saved pro-wrestling - where folks can get on line and find other wrestling fans to talk wrestling with. Actually speaking about wrestling, saying the words, is cringe worthy to hear in a public setting. I'm a self-loathing wrestling fan.

He's employed for the same reason Vickie is. I don't think the wwe creative gives any though to his character. -
I like the Knox finisher, but not if it's hurting people. I wonder if Noble was knocked silly from the big boot and thus wasn't protecting himself during the Knox finisher. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wbscVr5BAE It looks like Noble takes the big boot at a weird angle - almost off the top of his head. Then because of the time limit gimmick, Knox rushes the pick up and finisher without checking on Noble.

I read on another messageboard, that Snuka tried out for the CC spot for the new Superstars program. Probably hogwash, but it would explain why he hasn't been fired yet. -
Did Evolution ever punk out and run from a single attacker when they had the numbers? The Legacy might be the weakest damn stable ever.
-
JBL in a ladder match while Punk, Mysterio, Kofi, Bourne, Kendrick, Shelton, and R-Truth are on the roster? No thanks. You can't have all high fliers, you need "base" wrestlers that can catch the high fliers. Also JBL could work pretty good hardcore/brawl matches.
