Real time spoilers taken from - http://www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/wwe-spoi...ary-27-2009.php Brilliant decision Teddy. Why not try and trade him for something in return. Instead you let a former champion walk for nothing. And the puny roster gets smaller... Complete ongoing spoiler - Ooh - Finlay vs Burchill. I wonder how much time it got - I might have to tune in. That's this weeks show.

Reeves Terminator gimmick is called "Ryback" basically a mash up of Ryan and Silverback, his first name and former wrestling nickname. He wears one red and one blue contact lenses - mind blowing. He also no sells everybody and wrestled as a hoss even though he's maybe 6'1". -
Kizarny couldn't even get a spot in this battle royal - crud.
-
No Kizarny? Dammit. He's probably been dropped.

I'm not sure Danielson wants to go to the wwe. I mean what gimmick and ring name would they give him? I think Danielson would happily earn a living in ROH if he could (or if Heyman ever got the book in TNA). I read somewhere that Nigel and Johnny Ace have some sort of heat, which is why Nigel has never been brought in despite Regal really trying to sell him to the decision makers. Roddy Strong is really getting himself into shape - I wonder if he's looking for a deal or just knew the new television show was coming.

Why doesn't Kung Funaki watch Karate Kid II so he can add the "drum-punch" bit to to his Crane Kick? Why doesn't he honk opponents noses after asking them "Live or Die"? The wwe could market "monkey drums" with Funaki's face on them. -
I wonder if VKM will make a play for Danielson, McGuinness, Aries, etc to try and poach them away before ROH gets the tv deal.

Two moves that should be used in the wwe right now are the aforementioned Roaring Elbow and Doug Williams Chaos Theory roll-through German Suplex. MVP would be a good candidate for the Roaring Elbow, and CM Punk could use the Chaos Theory. Total Elimination should absolutely be stolen as well - Miz amd Morrison would be a good tandem to use it. What is the RKO/Diamond Cutter supposed to be doing, face-planting the opponent into the canvas or onto the attackers shoulder? I like Kizarny's legs wrapped DDT finisher, but didn't like the flip through version how MVP sold it. I like it straight down with vicious impact, like all of his weight is coming down on the top of your head.

Swagger vs Finlay is not a WM match, let alone Dreamer vs Swagger. So does Swagger not fight at WM? You can't put the ECW champion in the MITB match could you? Maybe he could say he wants to be a double champion... -
How come wrestlers that never wrestled were in their ring gear or shirtless? Are we supposed to believe they walk around backstage like that just in case they are announced in a match? Cody Rhodes and Ted Dibiase walk around in their brief-styles trunks, shirtless for the whole two hours of the show?

I wouldn't have liked that either, but at least it would have been a wrestler taking out The Legacy. It would have been a muscled up multi-time former champion, in full on rage mode catching The Legacy off-guard. It would have also explained the wrestlers standing there without doing anything because they would have been in shock that the HHH/McMahon curtain had dropped.
-
The only way they could salvage the mess would be that Shane and The Legacy faked the attack. Shane's punches wiffed so badly at points, it could be used later to show he was pulling them short on purpose - to convince everybody that Shane wasn't behind The Legacy in any way.
-
That ending was absolutely brutal! They destroyed The Legacy, the angle and quite possibly the Wrestlemania main event in one terribly written segment. Another McMahon wank session angle where a puffy middle aged non-wrestler comes in and destroys the main heel faction, while gassing out and looking like shit doing it. Shane looked like garbage - but he still thinks he's a tough guy. Get over yourself already. Or was it Stephanie who has a hero complex of her big brother to book that shit. Shane McMahon is super tough. He's be world champion if he wanted to be. You're such a bad ass Shane, you're so tough. I just wish the crowd shit all over the angle. You know what I could have accepted - HHH in place of Shane. Out HHH being married to Stephanie and we could have a compelling storyline to build at least. The whole show was the drizzling shits after the opening segment, and the finish took it to a whole new level. That finish was so inexplicably bad, it might just be one of the worst booking decisions I have ever seen.

That spot was used before in the rumble. Noble maybe...

Who did Regal piss off now? He should be a main eventer for crying out loud! I could spit!
-
I'm hoping for a Knox run-in here so Regal can win this match and head to the EC...
-
Part of me still thinks DiBiase will win Money in the Bank this year. Not saying he was to win, we just need our spot monkey to compete with Shelton for the "Jesus he's going to kill himself" spot of the night. Morrison's top rope moonsault whilst holding the ladder last year was top notch stuff It would have been a great spot, but it was botched as nobody caught him.

Stephanie confronting Orton as the Main Event? Something big is going to happen.
-
"WWE goes Hollywood" vignettes were kickass. I remember Undertaker as Dirty Harry sucked, but I think that was it. Basic Instinct with Jericho, Benoit, Christian and Stacey Keibler was the best.
-
Gawd is Melina horrid as a wide grinning babyface
-
Something is off between these two (HBK and Cena) tonight - last week was much better. That's how you crank a neck to sell the submission Cena, I hope you were taking notes. Edit to add - Nope he wasn't.

When are Oscar votes cast? If they were before the "Rourke will wrestle" news was known, it might not hurt him, but if they vote now or later, well his chances are finished. I know folks that can see The Wrestler, know that wrestling is fake, but for storyline purposes wrestling has to be real, and the storyline is being based around the fact that Rourke played a wrestler in all it's fake glory. So basically the wwe is running a storyline admitting that wrestling is fake. So right now they're saying HBK vs Cena is all a scripted act, like the character Rourke played in The Wrestler showed. I guess it's similar to the shoot-esque angles of "No, we really hate each other, and we're going to real fight" angles we've seen in the past. It just bugs the hell out of me.
-
Looks like Flair will make a WM appearance as well. I'm not feeling the angle, because in the movie wrestling is exposed as fake, and in the storyline world of the wwe wrestling is real. So Jericho is bringing attention to wrestling being fake in a wwe storyline... What does Rourke get out of wrestling? Did the movie need the pimping on wwe programming?

Probably want Kofi to do some high flying spots in the Chamber.
