The Elimination Chamber is a ridiculous match to have the title on the line in - makes zero sense and the Champ is at a terrible disadvantage. Why not just have a 30 man battle royal for the champ to defend his title in. Good for deciding No.1 contender, okay for deciding a champion when belt has been striped/held up, bad for having a champion defend his title in.

Will be interesting seeing their business and creative plan. Will they still base their business plan around selling DVD's? With the HDNet programming essentially being commercials for the PPV and the DVD's? Will tapings be made twice a month at the Friday Night show, with the Saturday Night show being the DVD sale? Will cans be able to follow along storylines by just watching HDNet? How will this effect PPV's that are basically taped two-three months before they air?

Cryme Tyme vs Miz and Morrison for the Tag Titles and JBL confronting HBK has been announced so far...

Why were we supposed to care about the Undertaker vs Big Show match-ups during the Rumble? Didn't we just see them feud a few months ago?

The best part of the "ballin'" last night was he stops and chucks Mysterio in the middle of it, then continues on with it. Regarding Matt's motivations - maybe it's personal jealousy rather than professional. Maybe he always tried to do the right thing by the fans, but the screw up Jeff always got the fan support. It will be the tired - the fans like you better so screw them bit, but it would explain why he was still trying to help Jeff win the title - the more he helped Jeff, the more the fans liked him. Also Matt could have been conflicted - he acted one way in secret, but another way publicly. If he didn't help Jeff the fans would wonder why - but if Jeff was taken out behind the scenes, then nobody would suspect Matt when Edge is around.

The success of the Matt Hardy heel turn will depend almost completely on the promo he cuts on Smackdown! this week. It's so important that I might err on the side of caution and have one of those taped backstage with Jim Ross deals rather than giving Matt a live mic in the center of the ring. If they feel the need to put him in the center of the ring with a mic, I'd keep it really short - maybe say something as simple as "Everybody keeps asking me why? Why Matt? Why? Here is your answer - I am the good son" and then drop the mic and walk out. He'll have to deliver the promo of his career on Tuesday. Partnering him with Edge and thus Vickie would help in the keeping heat on Matt department, but both seemed surprised last night as well. There was a MITB match a few years ago where Matt encouraged Jeff to swanton Edge on the outside, essentially taking both out of the match - I'd like that "history" to be brought up, how Matt was jealous even then and was trying to sabotage Jeff. I wonder if Matt will get new heel entrance music.

Jericho is the perfect antagonist to play against Rourke. I assume Rourke will wrestle, but it might not be sold that way initially. He might just have an appearance at WM25, though Jericho will bag on him enough that it becomes a match. I think it will be Jericho vs Rourke and a whole bunch of has-beens and never was(i.e. Indie wrestlers) wrestlers. Jericho could wrestle "legends" and beat them up for a couple weeks, maybe bring in a few indie wrestlers to embarrass in order to entice Rourke into the ring. Isn't Rourke notoriously hard to work with through? He usually wants a lot of creative control and is said to have completely rewrote the dialog in "The Wrestler", if he does that in Hollywood, he'll laugh in the face of the wwe writers.

Not really since the Oscars are on Feb. 22nd and Wrestlemania is the beginning of April. It'd be kinda hard for Rourke to kill his Oscar chances due to the dates. When do the folks vote though? If the Rourke angle is going to start soon, will he be on wwe programming before they vote?

Rourke will probably kill his Oscar chances by wrestling...
