    Cuts are a comin!

Well given my earlier list I can't say either were unpredictable. Bam Neely offered little, other than a cheesy name. He was a hoss in the developmentals however in the wwe he was pretty average sized and thus really limited. D'Lo Brown absolutely had more to offer and as has been stated should have been in ECW in the very least. He was never going to be a main eventer, but he could have been a solid midcard veteran that could stay over regardless if the losses mounted on his record.

TSM Talks (to the voices in their head): The Legacy

I got this from idiotsrunningawebsite.com, however it's probably stolen from one of the paysites - I can't say that I'm against this idea. DH Smith has the size and look that is a much better fit for the group. He can be the "Batista" of the group if you will, something that the group was missing and that Manu failed terribly at providing. He can't talk worth a lick and has a lot to learn, but he's solid enough in the ring and has the Hart pedigree to really fit with the stable. Also he doesn't turn 24 until August, so if he's fast tracked and gets over, he could challenge Orton's "youngest World Champion" record, even if he loses the match. This is terrible news for TJ Wilson though. The kid can really bring it in the ring and could easily hold his own with the Kingstons, Mysterio's, Bournes and now Low-Ki's of the roster. Wilson is a Hart in every way except blood, and he and Smith together could have fit well with Orton and Rhodes, but I guess that isn't in the cards. Orton/Rhodes/Smith is head and shoulders better than The Legacy when it involved Manu and especially Sim Snuka. Ideally it would still add a fourth member, I like my factions with four - usually a HWT Contender, a secondary title contender and a Tag Team. Either Dibiase returning to the group or Joe Hennig getting called up would work. Heck, Manu could even stick around - I just didn't like his as the muscle of the group.

WWE Gets "New" Show on WGN

Notice it's going head-to-head with TNA. The wwe isn't going to accept losing to TNA even if it's their D-level show.

    Cuts are a comin!

From PWinsider: Wwe has decided to go with basically one crew of referees so the wwe could half their referee roster. I would suspect seniority would rule here, with the youngsters getting the axe.

    Royal Rumble 2009

If Sim and Manu are in the Rumble, then this whole Legacy break-up is a headfake, and all will work to help Orton win the Rumble. The rationale being that Orton knew that the wwe wouldn't allow all four members of his faction in, hence the ruse.

    Cuts are a comin!

PWI is reporting that talent cuts are coming today. The Edgeheads had better not answer their phones. Either should D'Lo Brown, Candice Michelle, Jim Duggan, Hardcore Holly, Val Venis, Jimmy Yang, Braddock, Goldman, Gavin Spears, Paul Burchill, Sim Snuka, Bam Neely, Katie Lea or Rickie Ortiz for that matter...

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

Exactly. Hogan just wants to get his foot in the door. Once the wwe starts hyping/building it, on the eve of WM25 Hogan would all of a sudden balk at the match lay-out and want the win or a no-decision finish. Of course Hogan is probably hurting for money given Linda seems to want to screw him over every way possible.

    WWE / Low-Ki talk

I still can't believe this kid got signed. I remember training with him when he was 18. Long Island represent! "Can't believe" in that he sucks/why did the wwe sign this guy or "can't believe" in that "who would have thought all those years ago that he'd be where he is now" kind of way? I think Baretta is pretty good and could eventually see him in the wwe.

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

Wwe has big plans for Ted Dibiase, he's booked in Triple Treat IC matches on the house show circuit starting mid-February (Dibiase vs Regal vs CM Punk), and while the Marine II doesn't come out until 2010, I expect he'll be full fledged face by that time. When the writers were brainstorming possibilities as to who would eventually end Undertakers WM streak Dibiase was one of the favorites since his father brought Undertaker in all those years ago.

    ECW - January 6, 2009

Why is Boogeyman getting this push? I mean I respect the hell out of what he made of the gimmick but damn he's going nowhere on the card and just taking up space. I think that was the blow-off to Henry vs Hardy. Hardy will move on to Swagger next week (and probably for a program), though who knows where Henry goes - what faces are there for him to wrestle? DJ Gabriel's feuding with Burchill at the moment. Dreamer vs Henry has been done and offers nothing. Finlay vs Henry has been done as well. I look forward to seeing Finlay vs Burchill and Finlay vs Gabriel though.

    OaO WWE Raw - January 5, 2009

Wrong. Helms was going to be on the Hardy Boys side of the battle. Wasn't Kizarny on that side as well? If not, I am mistaken. Nah it was Edge, Christian and Kizarny vs Matt, Jeff and Helms as all sides would have legit "growing up together" history. Cena vs HBK next week. Regal vs Punk for the IC Title II as well. Orton seemed to be lowered with all of this Legacy interactions. I mean Manu is unestablished and sorta sloppy looking, and Sim is Deuce the jobber for crying out loud. I guess it gives him a side story, but if he's going to be in the ME angle for Raw heading into WM - the Legacy storyline doesn't really fit.

    OaO WWE Raw - January 5, 2009

I agree. Make Joe Hennig the fourth. However I fear there could be a "shadow legacy" stable featuring Manu and Snuka or in the very least a Manu/Snuka "Islanders" tag team. Also last week Lawler kept saying how Sim looked so much like his father - was that a rib or something as Sim is adopted? Finally Cody Rhodes used the "Roll of the dice" finisher. How many wrestlers have used that over the years?

    OaO WWE Raw - January 5, 2009

Punk vs Regal was a solid little match and sets up a future encounter which is fine by me. I'd love to see those two get 20 minutes+. The CGI explosions on Behind Enemy Lines : Columbia looks phony as hell

    WWE SmackDown - January 9, 2009

A segment will be inserted into these tapings where Jeff Hardy and his girlfriend are involved in a hit and run accident, where Jeff is basically uninjured, but Beth is hurt. (I wonder if Rikishi will be the driver...)

So does that mean SD! isn't winning the Rumble? Or there will be a deal where the RR winner "cashes" his title shot early like last year. Or like most other posters - it means nothing.

    US Senator recommends steriod regulations

But the wwe is not a sport. So it would have to be a commission that would test Broadway actors, movie actors, singers and back-up dancers and stuntmen and the like as well. I don't think some of these old timers in Government realize it's all fake.

    US Senator recommends steriod regulations

Does Raw have to be live every week? If the year round schedule cannot be changed, what about Raw adopting the live/taped schedule that would open up the possibility for more time off/less travel time for the wrestlers. I know this might seem like a digression, however I don't think you can expect wrestlers to work the current pace and schedule and not be on PED's and/or self-medicating to be able to work the grind and thorough the toll it takes on your body. Of course TNA has the much better schedule and had more than it's share of drug users - maybe it's more of a wrestling cultural thing.

    US Senator recommends steriod regulations

Lucky, I understand your premise but don't think you could have off-time for all wrestlers because how would that work inside the story? Would all be written out because of injuries/suspensions or would it simply become part of the story that wrestlers needed mandatory time off? I think Brands would have to take the time off, but I agree you could cycle it something like this - Raw - August - May (June and July off) SD! - Dec - Sept (October and Nov off) ECW - April - Jan (Feb and March off) Raw and SD! would overlap Dec to May which would be WM Build-up between RR and WM. If WM was pushed back into April, then all three brands could take part, with it opening ECW's season and Basically closing Raws.
