Waxman is one guy I wouldn't want on my ass either. Vince also took some heat for claiming that he doesn't have to take part in wellness testing. Maybe that's why he's been written off for so long... Only way to cut the pot numbers without spiking painkillers/drinking is to have an off-season. I still contend that WM could be the "season finale" if pushed back to late April, with Summer Slam the "Season Premiere". -

What about Jericho getting the cross-over/mainstream angle this year? If not that what about Austin vs Jericho (assuming Austin would come back for one last match/feud). Jericho attacking Austin for being a broken record, a cartoon still trying to live off what he did ten years ago would be in line with his current character and it would give Austin chance to be more than "Gimme a hell yeah", "That's the bottom line..." and "Stomp a mudhole..." catchphrases. -

Also from the observer - That's pretty damn impressive, especially in today's market. I bet it was by a wide margin over second place as well. Austin was making his bank while wwe ratings were doubled. -

Yup. Her FCW/real name is stuck in my head - Victoria Crawford. I meant Alicia Foxx vs Katie Lea. While I didn't like Burchill becoming the pirate initially, dropping it was way worse because fans stop caring if you are tried in so many gimmicks. Burchill was badass when he debuted out of the crowd, and his highlight packages from British feds shows you how handcuffed he is in the wwe. There was talk at one point of re-debuting him as a football(soccer) hooligan character before I assume Vince got around to seeing Cruel Intentions (which came out in 1999, meaning Vince will see the basis of Pirate Paul's character 3-4 years from now when he finally sees POTC). -

If they're going to pull the "Rumble winner doesn't choose title shot" then HBK should win the RR and go after UT's streak. Because HBK has had the title many times before and is all about being the "Wrestlemania moment" so it would fit his character to go after Undertakers streak, in Texas of all places. Also HBK could put over the title in not going for it saying his body is too broke down to be the champion night after night, but on any one night he can be the best in the world. -

According to Prowrestling.net Christian Cage is heading back to the wwe. He reportedly told Dixie Carter and is being written out of TNA storylines. What brand would he be a better fit on? Bring him back with Edge? What role would they have? What about Vickie bringing Christian in to face a returning Edge? Christian as Vickie's new boyfriend? Bring him back on his own to Raw? Would ECW be out of the question? A mystery rival from Matt Hardy's past would be interesting.

The back tattoo will be his downfall. I'm serious when I say that - it's that bad. Not to mention his character is a mess right now, as is his "look". I don't know why he just didn't come back under the same character as when he left. He has the hair from his Sugar Shane 3 Count WCW days, the colors and "mannerisms" (What's up with that pose) from his Hurricane days, with some Gregory mixed in as well. And he's also seemingly getting the Stevie Richards storyline how he's the forever underdog who came back from so much for the love of the "sports entertainment". -

Burchill and Katie Lea were switched to the brand of unwanted toys (aka ECW) permanently. Since it's still taped with Raw, it's not much of a difference, but it will give Burchill one last hope at keeping his job. I'd like to see Burchill join forces with Mark Henry - I think it would be a pretty badass pairing. Seeing he was given a good show of offense against Gabriel and wasn't pissed with his finisher, you have to figure Gabriel and Burchill will have a feud of sorts. I have to assume Burchill will break out his "We're both British, but your more like Elton John whereas I'm Jack the Ripper" line he used on Gabriel while both were feuding in OVW. Katie and Victoria could also scrap in a rare ECW women's match now as well. One thing that does surprise me is that DJ Gabriel I guess is supposed to be a face character. -

Kizarny's finisher was called the Talula Belle, but that will likely be changed in the wwe. It's a double underhook DDT where he wraps his legs around his opponents waist while falling so his complete weight comes down on his opponents head (at least that's the reasoning). Here's a FCW match between Scotty Goldman and Kizarny where he uses the finisher (though Josh sorta misses it) - -
Bingo.

I mentioned as much. Also both are deemed more than ready in the ring, which is why I think having them join with Orton and Rhodes would be a smart decision. "The Foundation" will fail because neither are "Harts" and Pink and Black is a brutal color scheme to try and pull off in 2008. I think they'd be much better off brought up as a new generation Bulldogs - Harry the powerhouse like his father and TJ the flyer/technician like Dynamite Kid.

I HATE Cena based almost solely on his absolutely shitty attempt at the STFU. He just places his arms around the opponents head and flexes thinking that makes it look like he's pulling back hard, however more often than not you can see daylight between his arms and his opponents head, and his opponents head bouncing around between his arms. If he just cranked back on the head a bit... A lot of the other stuff he is hated for you can assume he's booked to do (no sell Superman and silly promos), but I'm pretty damn sure he's not told by the road agents to do a shitty STFU. -
Could the Legacy Boys eventually turn on Orton? I'm talking sooner than later. Eventually all "fail" his tests but he keeps them around though berates them and such and eventually they jump him - Becoming Dibiase, Rhodes, Manu and Snuka, with the latter two making up the tag team of the faction. Of course that would make The Legacy Boys faces would it not? Orton, Dibiase, Rhodes and Joe Hennig would make up the strongest second/third generation faction. If they wanted a big man/muscle for the group maybe Harry Smith could be brought it. Hell given that TJ Wilson is basically a Hart , just without the bloodlines, why not bring in Harry and TJ to be the tag team of the faction? Orton, Rhodes, Smith and Wilson. The plan to bring up The Foundation has been dropped because neither can talk, however this would solve that problem as Orton is the mouthpiece and Cody could be the secondary talker. Dibiase could feud against The Legacy or jump to SD! and Hennig could spend more time in FCW. What about having a Legacy stable on SD! as well. Ted Dibiase, Carlito, Primo, and developmentals Joe Hennig, and Brett Dibiase. Recently signed developmentals Taylor Rotunda and Dakota Darsow could eventually be candidates as well.

Pretty boring show for the most part and I was flipping between the show and Apollo 13 most of the night. The matches seemed flat as was the crowd. Who made the Legacy matches? Did Orton get to pick the match-ups? He must really like Sim Snuka giving him Haas while Manu gets Hardy and Rhodes gets Punk. I hope Manu is getting written out of Legacy because he never really fit there and yet could be pretty badass on his own. I could see him becoming WWE's Samoa Joe. I wonder if his drug of choice was weight loss supplements because he seems to have trouble keeping the weight off. I don't mind Sim in the group because I don't think the bookers care all that much about him and he'll eventually get booted out as well. Sim is 37-38yo, so he's nothing but fodder. I missed the Kelly and Orton interaction, but reading about it, it's rather disappointing given the one-episode build and punking Miz with it. Will Kelly go to Kane now? Knox, Balls and Orton; an abuser, a satanist and a douchebag - Kelly can really pick'em. Is Kane vs Orton on the horizon? Am I supposed to care?

My kingdom for a Katie Lea push...

So Christian would have to cost Hardy the title - meaning more than likely Edge would win it. It would set-up Christian vs Jeff Hardy and likely Edge vs HHH (assuming HBK vs Undertaker of course). Hayes has been pushing for an Edge vs Hardy TLC match - that might be the best time to re-debut Christian. However where would Matt Hardy fit in all of this? Either at RR or whatever the Feb PPV is called these days. I still like the idea of making this an epic storyline involving not only Edge, Jeff, Christian and Matt but also involving Kizarny and Hurricane Helms.

Does Jeff Hardy's winning of the title diminish any future payoff to the stairwell attacker storyline?

I'm betting they have a small title tourny that will re-debut Gail Kim. Do they have eight diva's on SD!? - Natalya, Michelle, Bri and Nicole, Maria, Victoria - that's six, add Gail Kim and you just need to find one more for an eight woman tournament. That would probably be too many diva matches though, maybe have house show matches count or something. otherwise they'll probably do a four woman set-up - Michelle, Natalya, Maria and Gail. -
[/kayfabe] Actually he said as much in a UK Sun interview.
