He desn't look in bad shape, but he looks in normal shape. Vince probably figures that if you're taking your comeback seriously you'd come in peak shape given that you had nothing to do except work out the last handful of weeks. His physique is really less than impressive there, he looks pasty and saggy, and the match seemed rather shitty to boot.

Where is the "The End" rip-off music for this PPV - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlPbGJM1hus - If they're not going to use it for the PPV why not make it John Morrison's entrance music over the Hendrix rip-off. Anyways here is the final card - Jericho vs Cena for the World Title Jeff Hardy vs HHH vs Edge for the WWE Title Batista vs Randy Orton Finlay vs Mark Henry in a Belfast Brawl Vladimir Koslov vs Matt Hardy for the ECW Title Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk in the IC Tournament finals Santa's Little Helper 8-Diva match Mickie James/Kelly/Maria/Michelle vs Victoria/Maryse/Jillian/Natalya I'll be watching the Survivor Gabon finale tonight, but even if I didn't have something else to watch I'd have little interest in watching this. -Cena is going to retain, probably ending the Jericho feud tonight as well - unless they carry it on until RR o give Cena a throwaway title defense while the real contenders battle it out in the rumble match. -Edge is likely going to retain as well, I guess the only suspense is in how it will be booked. Does Hardy take the pin? -Batista vs Orton is useless. I expect a Legacy run-in finish here. Manu will look more pathetic as the muscle of the group. -Finlay vs Henry - Who's writing this stuff? Only hop here is either Hornswoggle is destroyed or we see a Sheamus O'Shaugnessey debut. -Koslov should take the title from Hardy -Mysterio vs Punk could go either way, but wwe doesn't care about the midcard titles anyways

Did Tomko not train since he left TNA? Or is it just because Tomko isn't muscled up like Batista or even Kane?
-
Morrison works three matches in two nights - Miz and Morrison can work all three brands and not seem over-exposed. I hope we get a Kizarny vignette this week. Hopefully they're tweaking the gimmick and the kid will still get to debut and that they've not decided to kill it already. Wwe has soured on R-Truth, they feel he has some flashy moves, but he's missing/struggles with the basics.

Punk bores me these days. He seems to wrestle the same match over and over again. Also his moves are not really tight as they could be in some instances - he really seems to have stagnated, seeming to think that he has made it and doesn't have to work to improve and bust his ass. Working a long program with Regal could be good for him.

That was the debut. -
Nah, he was talking about me, but rather than quoting what I actually said, decided to bastardize what I said. My contention was that Hardy's big win should have been saved for WM, not some throw-away PPV that will pull a low buyrate. They traded a storyline for a cheap pop. I don't think anybody believed Hardy had a chance at winning the title at Armageddon, so I don't know how his win sold PPV's, I guess maybe the replays (if anybody buys those). Maybe in the future the shitty throw-away PPV's might do better in the "anything can happen - remember Jeff Hardy's first win" sort of way. Hardy's chase was the big win storyline that WM25 was waiting for. Maybe the bookers didn't trust him with being the ME of WM given his history and his two strike status. It was around this time last year that he got his second strike afterall.

Kelly Kelly definitely has something Kane wants... It won't be a heel turn though, because they need her a face for her Playboy push (after which she'll be yesterdays news like Candace and Maria). It has to be a little guy, otherwise why not just say Batista, Cena or whomever who regularly kick Kanes ass. -
. I fully agree with this! In the future, WWE should try and book matches or create possibilities based on things that WON'T sell PPVs. They're just being silly otherwise. Where did I say that? Or are you making up a quote? Why not quote what I actually wrote? Pretty shady otherwise.

Would it have killed the wwe to bring in Jimmy Snuka for the spot where Deuce becomes Sim Snuka (Sim? WTF!)? I'm betting that the bookers don't care for the storyline really, but know they needed to give it a try because it writes itself. It will fail and Sim Snuka will be released in the New Year. Batista looked injured during the match last night, I'm figuring he tweaked something in a leg and probably needs time off - hence the Kick o' Doom. Isn't Khali a former Champion? -

Okay I missed the Snuka entrance - was it explained that he's the former Deuce, or is he supposed to be a debuting wrestler? Also is he in the Legacy, or was it a tryout of sorts? -

I think Kane just wants to be a fan favorite, rather than specifically saving Kelly Kelly. He was just making the save for the face in peril... -

Hardy winning the title doesn't change anything. It actually makes it worst, because it's gimmicky like they tried to make the PPV worthwhile by giving Hardy the title. I like Jeff getting the title, but the timing was all off. It was like the wwe painted themselves into a corner and knew they couldn't have him lose another title match, especially couldn't take the pin and HHH wasn't going to be pinned so they gave him the title. Also Edge losing the title after a month is a joke as well. Hardy should have won the title at WM from Edge. Hardy could have been taken out of the title hunt by the attack last month, starting a feud with the perpetrator. Tomko is available to start at any time. They could have booked a storyline involving Edge, Christian, Tomko, Matt and Jeff Hardy - hell Kizarny and Helms as well if they really wanted to go big.

The WWE seems to think that if the talent can't get over on their own, they have no business being employed. -
Well, you see, I was just going to comment on how shitty I believe the ppv to be in the existing Armageddon thread, only to find that such a thread didn't exist.
-
Because there wasn't one at of 3pm in the afternoon is why.
