I too went with Ted Dibiase on the criteria I pay attention when he is in the ring. I've been missing the Dibiase fist drop lately though. Koslov, Cade and Kendrick are flash in the pans - I don't see them catching on past their current pushes. I think Santino will have a serious run in him, but his problem is Gewirtz a big fan of Marella and his comedy. Kofi is trapped in a midcard gimmick, Carlito's mouth will keep him from breaking out. Bourne is too small and is cringe-worthy on the mic, but I could see him booked as the next Mysterio. Dibiase MVP Truth Marella

Striker got himself into some deep locker room trouble for doing impersonations that rubbed folks (Benoit and Guerrero) the wrong way. Finlay is a joke - and it's all because of Hornswoggle. The have a developmental Seamus O'Shaunessey who does an over the top Irish Gimmick, I'd much rather see Hornswoggle paired with SOS, allowing Finlay to be the upper card badass he should be, and not having to win every match with a weapon.

Jericho will retain, and move into a feud with Batista. HBK will move into a lesser feud with Cade in a Teacher vs Student storyline, that will allow HBK to go over while elevating Cade. I hope to see some TWA footage (assuming it exists). HHH is retaining, though this match could have a non-finish due to a Koslov run-in. I'm not feeling Koslov at all, but the writers are really pushing him. I think it could be something at little as the white trunks I HATE white trunks. Give him red trunks or would that be gimmick infringement - does some veteran wear red trunks? Mark Henry will win back the title - he's much better as champion and Hardy is much better as the one chasing the title. This won't end the feud though as there isn't another face credible enough to step up against Henry. ECW needs another established face in the worst way. The comeback wrestler usually wins the title so I'll give it to Candace here, with Santino costing Beth the title. Candice can feud with Katie Lea. Beth can remain in the Santino storyline as it seems to be leading somewhere given the phone call to "Frankie". I could see a face turn for Beth out of this eventually. Batista is going to beat JBL. I don't know where JBL will go from here, but his mic ability will be able to get him heat in short order. Sets up Jericho vs Batista. IF JBL does win, you know HBK is going over in the ME. I absolutely agree that the Mysterio vs Kane match should have been Mask vs Re-mask match, but then I've been championing the idea to get the mask back on Kane forever. I think a remasked Kane is a world title contender and would give him an opportunity to freshen up his character. I guess the office folks really like his "facials" though, and putting him under a mask would negate this strength. Could Mysterio lose his mask? I HIGHLY doubt it however there was a story about Mysterio wanting to do movies as part of his contract when he re-signed. Could they tweak the character where Mysterio still wrestled with a mask on to honor his heritage, however doesn't wear it in backstage segments and such? I have zero interest in Undertaker vs Big Show - Big Show is mailing it in it seems and Undertaker is boring me these days. He needs something to freshen up his character or remain a special attraction. The deal was that they needed Undertaker in another feud before they could bring back Edge, in order to have storyline reasons for keeping the two apart. I wonder if we could see Edge come back and cost Big Show the match - setting up Big Show/Vickie vs Edge/Alicia, and Undertaker could go feud elsewhere - maybe getting involved with MVP or The Brian Kendrick (with Ezekiel of course).

I wouldn't cut myself for any indie promotion or match. You're asking for a friggin disease first of all, and secondly permanently scarring yourself for chump change is ridiculous. Hell, I applauded MCM for refusing to blade and that was for a TNA PPV. I think the practice is long past it's expiration date, and at most should be used in very rare cases to really sell the drama (and not in podunk indies).

Big Show is getting fat again, and he looks like he's mailing it in lately. The writers have never known how to book Big Show properly - I think they should make him a special attraction at this stage. I know most will hate this, but I'd consider giving him the tag straps for an extended run. If ever there was one person who could hold the tag titles and believeably beat two wrestlers it's Big Show. I think it would be a solid way to really put him over. I mean who doesn't believe that Big Show could beat Primo and Carlito in a shoot fight with tag rules? It wouldn't be squash matches, but really competitive so that you're not burying the tag teams, but putting Big Show over in a huge way. Sometimes though, Big Show would win matches without the partner ever getting tagged in. Other times he would be taken to the bring by teams who tag in and out to keep the fresher of the two men always in the ring, so it would be like Show fighting a single person who never tires. I'd give Big Show a tag title run AT LEAST until WM25.

I wouldn't go full on Brody as you are suggesting, but a comment by Striker stood out during the match as Striker said something to the effect "Knox is from Arizona and trains out in the desert for days" or something to that effect. If given the rugged individualist/loner with some loose cannon characteristics, I think such a gimmick could really work for him. If he's just a generic bully hoss, then he's doomed.

Is he Deuce or doing a Snuka gimmick?

Id rather have seen Dibiase vs Punk. Cody is sorta vanilla, whereas I think Dibiase is a future champion.

He said on his official website that he just had the ink done, and it took 30 hours to do both sleeves. I won't see it for another 15 minutes, but I don't think the look will at all fit him.

If you're good, you don't need a title to get and stay over.

I assume much like Benjamin vs Santino is title holder vs title holder, they will probably have SD tag Champs vs Raw Tag Champs, meaning Primo and Carlito vs Dibiase and Rhodes rather than having bland heel vs heel match involving Hawkins and Ryder facing off against Dibiase and Rhodes.

I think Carlito needs to go back to the ring shorts he wore before, the Mysterio pants look like shite. SD! should call up the Canadian Bulldogs already. Bulldogs vs Carly and Primo could be a really good feud, throw in Miz and Morrison and you could have some very good matches. Hawkins and Ryder are so damn bland, they need some sort of hook or something. Jesse and Festus moving gimmick is dumb as hell as well - somebody needs to read "Of mice and men"...

Goldman is a jobber, but jobbers can have long careers. Obviously the wwe likes how he sells - which is a good thing I guess. Being on television is better than not being on television because it's certain exposure, and I think Colt could actually catch on with the fans in spite of being squashed. Braddock wrapped up by Jesse and Festus? I guess if this leads to a Dykstra/Braddock tag team I can live with this silliness.

Swagger seems to be going the Kurt Angle debut character route.

There is a rib in his gimmick somewhere, because there is a big lockerroom deal that new talent must go around and introduce themselves to the locker room.
