I actually liked the PPV, of course I didn't pay for it (I only order the biggies). Hbk vs Jericho was the match of the night and I actually liked the referee stoppage (another MMA "shoutout"), Punk vs Batista was happily a better match than I expected, of course the ending was a cop out. HHH vs Edge was about what I expected, I liked Benjamin winning because SD! needed it's midcard title back, and the tag match and even the divas encounter were both solid. Only two crap matches was Henry/Dreamer and you had the heel turn of Colin Delaney (eh it's something) and the Cena/JBL brawl that I'm sure some of the fanbase really liked.

From what I can tell, she was trying to help Edge by slipping him the title, but Vickie stopped that. I think the reason it didn't seem to work, at least for me, was that I expected a swerve and Vickie was going to help Edge. However if you accepted Vickie as pissed at Edge, then the whole Alicia/Vickie interaction makes more sense. I still don't know who Edge was aiming to spear though. I think HHH should have been the target and moved, along with Alicia and the ref - all parting out of the way to leave Edge leveling Vickie.

I noticed this too. The referees are seperating the wrestlers and then pulling the "Are you ready?" "Are you ready?" "Fight!" gimmick to start the matches, at least the title matches. Michelle has used the Brazilian Heel Hook as her finisher for awhile though now.

So who exactly was Edge aiming to spear? I thought Vickie was going to tease hitting Edge before hitting HHH...

Finishes may have been shit, but the ring work has been pretty good. HBK/Jericho was really solid, Punk/Batista was pretty good until the finish, Hardy/Benjamin and the four-way tag were good matches. The divas match was harmless at worst, the only shit match was the Parking Lot Brawl because of it's over-the-top spots.

Live crowd has to be loving this.

Punk hasn't won a match clean other than Snitsky for crissakes. JBL was distracted by Cena and Cryme Tyme, Kane was a countout and now Batista was a DQ... The match was pretty good too, until the shit finish. Batista could have been rolled up and lost no heat. It would have been prime time for a heel turn.

Shit ending. Hart/Diesel would have been the better finish. I though that was where they were going with Punk limp as Batista was putting him back in the ring. Alls you needed was a Batista Bomb set-up, a moment of sympathy and a quick roll-up. THEN Kane could have attacked.

Crowd is dead. Bastards!

Well there is only Cena/JBL and Edge/HHH after... I'm just hoping for a good match.

I liked the referee stop. He deemed HBK unable to continue - legitimate reason really.

Delaney turns - Meh, I guess Tommy vs Colin is what the world has been waiting for. Colin was bland as hell as a face, might as well see if he can pull off being a heel.

Naaah...the Divas championship will be the piss break. To each his own, but I like watching the Diva's who can actually wrestle.

I swear JR was calling both members Hawkins when either was in the ring. Hawkins and Ryder needed the titles the most, the other three ware over to varying degrees.
