Yes. Basically, they signed Tony Atlas and realized they had to change Atlas The Bone's name to Ricky (as previously discussed, his real name is Rich). Is Rich Young even Latino? Kofi can pretend to be Jamaican and Armando can pretend to be Cuban because wwe doesn't travel to either, however unless "Ricky Ortiz" is legitimately Latino, I think it will be a problem with Spanish speaking fans. Also why not Ricardo Ortiz? Hell Rico Ortiz would sorta sound like Tito Ortiz (a la Bam Neely and Kenny Dykstra)...

I think Punk feuded with Ken Doane and Brent Albright in OVW, so I don't know about those matches qualifying for much. His promos down there were pretty tight though, but way have a DVD with OVW promos?? Debut match in ECW, Morrison ECW title win match, MITB win match and cashing it in to beat Edge are the only WWE entries onto the PUNK DVD so far. Maybe have him as one of Cena's Gangsters during Cena's entrance @ WM 22 as an easter egg. I liked his ECW matches with Dkystra and Noble, but they are not DVD quality.

Atla..er..Ricky Ortiz must have won the coin flip. Seriously though, he looks more menacing, at least in that pic, without the Sideshow Bob hair. Bring up younger brother Eddie and Eric Perez and give him a faction.

Hardy Boyz vs Miz/Morrison headline ECW this week. Billed as "One time only" for Hardyz, but I wouldn't be surprised if they won the titles, even if it's just to set-up to a return match at the PPV where Miz and Morrison win them back.

This show was better on paper (the spoilers).

If you think about it, Stevie Night Raw would extremely work right now. Raw's already in chaos because there's no GM, what's stopping Stevie from just showing up on Raw and saying "I'm the new GM!"? Even if it was exposed as a lie the next week. He could fake a letter from "Board of Directors" and maybe even have a doctored vid from Linda McMahon saying Stevie is the new GM. Stevie just makes crazy matches with no rhyme or reason for the whole show, weird gimmick matches and such and then gives himself a title shot against Punk.

And speaking of entrance music, after following the link Exslade ZX provided, wouldn't this - - have made a much better entrance music for John Morrison than the Hendrix rip-off he has now? Also I think the one week wedding call-off was done to give Edge the excuse to say "we were on a break/broke up" when the Alicia/Edge sex tape finally turns up (probably in the hands of HHH). Sounds like a pretty good show overall. Somebody is finally taking advantage of the whole bell-ringing gimmick with Festus. Koslov getting entrance music is a move in the right direction (if it isn't generic rock as previously mentioned), now he just needs to put on red trunks instead of the diaper white ones. Stevie desperately needs to go back to wrestling in cut-offs and even the crop top - Serious Steven isn't nearly as compelling as fun-lovin' Stevie. In the very least fun Lovin' Stevie could be interesting enough to be a Val Venis level jobber to the stars. Benjamin beating Hardy is interesting, Finlay and Hornswoggle beating Miz and Morrison is not. Chavo playing both sides and getting caught and then put in a match with HHH isn't bad on paper.

The unknown second with Spanky was developmental Ryklon Stephens who was playing the bodyguard role it seems. Is Ryklon's gimmick supposed to be based off of Suge Knight? (photo taken from prowrestling.net) Chavo has a bodyguard, Spanky might have a bodyguard and Santino was rumored to get a bodyguard...

That was a bad show. Nothing else really to say.

Is Atlas doing the Adamle gimmick for ring announcer?

Bourne is horrid in interviews/promos, but he really brings it in the ring. That is a picture perfect SSP. What's with the recent developmentals having no promo ability? Hawkins/Ryder are brutal, Bourne is brutal, Ortiz is brutal, Braden is brutal. Tony Atlas must be joining Henry as a manager or something, otherwise there was no reason for his use tonight and changing Ortiz' name.

What happened to debuting wrestlers with a gimmick and vignettes?

I actually liked Marquis Cor Von name. It had certain flair.

Ricky Ortiz and Braden Walker - who the hell are coming up with these names? It's like they want to make the talent as absolute bland as possible.

Atlas is now Ricky Ortiz? Tony Atlas have a beef? Could they make Chris Harris any more bland?

Kane + Paul Bearer + Mask = World Title Contender

Could they bring back Paul Bearer? Wasn't he "killed off"? My one hope is that Kane puts the friggin mask back on. Maybe have him start cutting his own face up or something - that would be pretty hardcore.

Burchill's curb stomp sucks anyways. I doubt he'll be using it much longer. Gee I wonder who is getting pinned in this match.

I like the idea that they just might be re-establishing the midcard - Burchill vs Kofi could be a decent midcard feud (as the IC title should be). Pirate Paul was so much more interesting though. "The Ripper" could work, but first he needs another Brit wrestler to face so he can reuse the "We might both be Brits, but you're Elton John and I'm Jack the Ripper" line he used in OVW.

And those two matches involved Snitsky in one and the Diva's in the other. And now they get Charlie Haas...

HBK/Jericho is the best thing going - by far.

This show is certainly vid recap happy. I think he could probably G2S Henry (maybe not though), but definitely not BDV. BDV should never have a title match anyways.

Outside of Big Show and Khali I think he could G2S the rest of the roster. He did look to stiff Snitsky a bit there... I've never really liked the G2S as his finisher though.

Punk vs Snitsky - Seeing if Punk can hold the ratings with an utterly shitty opponent already?

Punk looked slightly out of place. I agree he should have perched himself sitting on the top rope and let the others argue it out instead of standing there looking a fool and dwarfed by all.
