Raw was boring as hell. Silly me thought that they'd try to put on a really compelling show that would hook new or old/lax fans who tuned in for the money giveaway.

For those of us who cannot watch - what was so lame about the promo - just the delivery? Did he explain his name change in it? I mean they called him Matt Sydal in the preview...

Danielson and Nigel should both be in the wwe by now. Dragon doesn't really have the wwe look though, and I don't know if he could work three minute matches - however if he wans a shot, he's earned it. He'd surely have to go to FCW, probably to get a tan and get a little bit bigger (and probably new ring gear). He can offer what no other current developmental and few main roster wrestlers can offer in the ring, but wwe is more than just in-ring ability. I do cringe at any possible gimmick they'd try and give him and wonder what ring name they'd come up with for him. Probably make him Regal's son or something. It's just a dark match and probably nothing will come from it, however Dragon has been on wwe's radar for ever and I believe ti was a situation that he had a contract waiting (developmental?) for him if he ever decided it wanted it.

I believe I read elsewhere that Styles was injured during the match. I really don't mind the name chance for Matt Sydal. Hell at least it means they think enough of him that they want to own the trademark. Evan Bourne isn't that bad of a name, though I was hoping to here Adamle make a play with Matt's name and his moveset calling him Sui-Sydal...

According to this weeks SD/ECW spoilers Matt Sydal's wwe name is Evan Bourne.

Sydel is too small to ever be taken seriously by the wwe. He's like Kendrick and London though, he can make anybody look like a million bucks, in part because he is so small/light that he can really be chucked around and bump his ass off.

I like the idea of a SD! Diva's title. The WWE seems to be pushing the ladies again, very likely due to the ratings success of the TNA women. I mean Beth vs Melina @ ONS as was mentioned didn't even involve the title - when was the last time that happpened at a PPV? The rest of the show sounds like it sucks though.

Not quite true. A couple pairings are still left to be done out of that group. Both are capable of being big WM type draws. Undertaker vs Cena and HHH vs Edge?

The ratings problem is because the wwe only focuses on the main event and the main event is stale as hell - Undertaker, HHH, HBK, Cena, Edge, Orton, and Batista. They've all wrestled and feuded with each other and it's the law of diminishing returns. There is basically three current mid card guys that I think could reasonably be elevated to ME level - MVP, Matt Hardy and CM Punk. Regal and Jeff Hardy could have been pushed up but both are wrestling with two strikes and an automatic firing hanging over their heads. I'd love to see Finlay fight HBK but that isn't a money feud, and they have Finlay saddled with Hornswoggle. With the top guys all desperately protecting their spots there is no room at the top.

Maybe Orton leads it by himself - being third generation himself. However it seems like MDM and Teddy Jr are going to be the focal points of the new stable.

Fertig has been given so many chances he has to have dirt on somebody. He came out of Memphis right? Maybe it's Lawler. However Jason Sensation claims Fertig was an attacker/attempted molester of his, so who knows what side of things he is on.

With Armando (Alejandro) Estrada a wrestler as well as being GM, I guess he could be drafted, and then says he's bringing ECW with him (being GM and all). Also the wwe might want to keep MVP on SD! because he gets on well with Michael Hayes and could be used to diffuse any situation in the future.

Game On!!!!!!! I wonder if ECW will be traded or if they'll simply end their SD! talent exchange agreement and start one with Raw for storyline purposes. The latter makes more sense than the former because ECW is not really a property of SD!. I guess SD! could trade their talent exchange contract with ECW to Raw for something. Mark Henry is probably now a lock to move to Raw to get him away from Michael Hayes and SD! Umaga is a lock for SD! MVP is probably heading to Raw. Punk won't have to be traded anywhere with ECW moving to Raw. Some ECW wrestlers could be taken off to SD! though - Miz/Morrison is probably likely.
