With the Burchill Incest angle rumored to being dropped(isn't kid friendly afterall), I hope he at least gets moved to ECW rather than simply being released. With Katie Lea being a solid worker as well, maybe they could pull a Hawkins/Ryder and say they pretended to be brother/sister to catch in interest of the wwe bookers sorta deal...

I wonder if they are just relaunching the storyline that Krissy Vaine debuted with before quitting a few days later.

There is a womens segment in here somewhere as Nattie Neidhart debuts and attacks Michelle and Cherry after McCool is announced the winner of what ever the hell they are doing (a diva search comp for existing divas?).

I still hope he decides against it. It will ring hollow and sort of cheapen the Flair retirement this year if Austin does the whole HOF/Last match combo. Now if he didn't go into the HOF this time around, and just had one last match... I mean WM will be in Texas again in the next five. Save the HOF until then, of course Undertaker and HBK will likely be "ready" by that time.

So HHH just happened to have a matching one? Something along the lines of HHH having it and Shawn liking it and deciding to buy one and give Flair another with the inscriptions? Or did HHH want to be included, so he went out and bought his own matching one?

Taker is not going to lose his streak in his hometown. I would like there to be a huge threat against him though - I'm hoping for Cena, because there would be certain believability that he could go over, and he'd get nuclear heat in Houston against The Undertaker.

Why does he (and all winners for that matter) need to carry around the briefcase wherever they go? RVD looked ridiculous, and now so does Punk.

Kane is not going to make ECW must-see for me. He really needs to spice things up a bit, he's rather bland and played out. I'd LOVE for him to put his mask back on, even if just for the entrance, and take it off for the match - sorta like Demolition back in the day. I guess it makes more sense having a fresh face champion, as ECW is the land of heels. Morrison, Miz, Benjamin, Burke, Chavo can all get in line for their shot.

Cryme Tyme coming back was a surprise. It looks like they did catch their office leak. I wonder if the creative team looked at the Raw roster and saw it needed some "diversity". Either that or they are planning on splitting up Cade and Murdoch and figured Raw needed some new tag teams. London and Kendrick are on the road to a break up. Spanky was acting a lot more heelish last night. Punk vs Jericho was the match of the night. They actually worked really well together, which is interesting since both have been criticized for their non-wwe style work. With Punk heavily influenced by the Japanese-style, and Jericho coming up that way, I guessed it was a match. I don't mind Punk jobbing in that it was a competitive match. I think Jericho could be journeying to the darkside as well. Big Show vs Khali will be a horrid match, but last night was interesting in that Khali basically punked out. Big Show is obviously going to go over, but Khali could be out the door sooner than later as he's going to lose his threat aura as he's jobbing in every feud these days. How can you keep him relevant? Especially with zero mic ability. Batista is after HBK? I actually found it intriguing. Though one is on Raw and the other on SD! (not like that means anything anymore). Orton vs Hardy was okay. I hated the finish as well in that Orton just took Hardy's finisher on the outside, so it should have really knocked him out. I would have been fine with a out-of-nowhere desperation RKO for the win if it was like his last ditch effort and then he went back to being woozy sorta deal. JBL vs Orton - Dick Heel vs Dick Heel? Face turn for Randy? Or does JBL win the title for a HHH vs JBL title feud? Santino vs Maria set-up and outcome was harmless. The Flair ceremony was great. It was interesting seeing what wrestlers were allowed in the ring - specifically Jericho over Edge and Show, but I guess Edge is a heel. Either that or SD! being there was supposed to be a surprise. The Horsemen, Harley and Steamboat coming out was great. I hope a UT and McMahon vid hits the net though.

Maybe this was his way to get the wwe to stop asking him to come back. They don't seem to understand that Wrestling was never the Rock's first love. He tried professional football and that wasn't working out for him, so he decided to slum it wrestling until he took off and first chance he got he ran to Hollywood. I wonder how much was him being aloof, as to the hyper-sensitive wrestlers nitpicking every perceived slight, real or imagined. Then they start acting different towards him and he picks up on it and starts acting differently, and the wrestlers pick up on this new "different" and go into full snark mode. It happens all the time when a member of a peer group gets a promotion - it ruins the dynamics and nobody and everybody is to blame.

The trashcan bit would have been top notch if he beaned him in the melon. As it was it was a leg shot. Funniest "non-funny" thing was without a doubt Charles Robinson hauling ass to the ring. Lamest "funny" moment was Mic Foley's cameo. The guy is so dated and played out I cringe whenever I see him on camera.

However it sorta sucks in that he'll never be allowed to turn heel - but I guess truly over faces are much harder to find/build than any heel. I just wish they'd let him cut loose on the mic, his OVW stuff was absolutely top notch. I guess it's all about baby steps and getting on Raw (with significant political backing) is a HUGE step for Punk.

Ric Flair retirement ceremony is scheduled, Tully, JJ, Arn, Windham are all there, Malenko is obviously available as well. Will they just do the classy thing and have the ceremony go off unhitched, or will they use it to set-up an angle, maybe by having somebody crash it? With Flair really retired and intent on being out of the ring for awhile (before working an Austin/Foley schedule) there really isn't too much you could do angle wise.

HBK will never go to SD! because of the taping on Tuesday Nights, as I believe he has a church/prayer service early Wedbesday morning every week. I think Punk is a lock to head to Raw, however MVP could stick on SD! for another year. I could also see Jericho heading to SD!.

Vince was training for a match, however when the card came together he was left off. He wanted to put his working out to good use, hence the Flair vs McMahon match a few weeks ago on Raw. He was probably going to be in a match with Finlay and Hornswoggle. However when JBL/Jericho crapped out due to terrible ring chemistry (the feud was supposed to culminate at WM) the deck had to be reshuffled. I guess they could have did JBL and Vince vs Finlay and Hornswoggle... I think Vince should stay behind the camera anyways. Raw is stacked with talent, there is no need for him to be eating up television time. Let the top heels be the top heels, instead of being overshadowed by the played out evil Owner/GM/Authoritative figure.

Flair could make a helluva manager if he wanted to.

I wonder if this was the reason why all brands were told to be at the tapings, and not setting up for the draft.

Supposedly at a fan axess event Hillbilly Jim let it slip that WM would be back in Orlando in 2010. There was rumors that Orlando was already bidding to hold another, however that seems too soon. I mean Houston next year, and then back in Orlando? Is there any big indoor venues there, or will it be back in the Citrus Bowl? Also Big Daddy V has pneumonia, which is why he was dropped from the card.
