    Jeff Hardy suspended

As has been meen mentioned, wwe might just as well fire him now because you can't push a wrestler with two strikes. I guess the wwe made the right decision not to put the title on him, though I wonder if that decision and his disappointment not getting the title made him use again - not that that is an excuse at all, I mean wrestling is a work and life is full of disappointments. Maybe if you are fired, and rehired, you get new three strikes under the Wellness.

    Raw 3/10/08

I don't know how much I believe the shoot elements of the angle, as it sounds like they were trying to add certain heat to it. Give an "anything could happen" element...

    Raw 3/10/08

Also getting a UT vs Henry casket match...

WWE General Discussion - March 2008

Ashely is of no use to the wwe anymore - she's posed nekked. Punk should thank his lucky stars that Heyman was booked his debut and did it in ROH country. His debut made him out to be a big deal and fans have latched on. I don't understand exactly why he's over to the extent he is with non-ROH watching wwe fans - he has had as many bad matches as he has had good ones, his mic work has been paint by numbers since he debuted. I guess it's his different look and natural charisma more than anything else at this time. I think he's a lock to get drafted to either SD! or Raw. And while that might politically hurt him in that there is a host of veterans he could job to, it should also help him in the ring to work with some wily ring vets on a nightly basis. I mean remember when Punk and Mickey James debuted as a punk rock pairing that I believe ended up getting cut from a Heat (or did it air?)... I still like the idea that Ken Kennedy is Vince's bastard son. Hornswoggle was sort of amusing, but it's more than run it's course.

    SmackDown! Spoilers for 03/08/08

Probably Umaga makes an appearance costing Batista the match, though Hardy showing up wouldn't surprise me as well. I think having both show up and have the match become a big mess would be interesting. Have Umaga jump Batista on the ramp having both brawl as MVP stands in the ring only to have Matt Hardy enter from the crowd and jump him.

    ECW 3.4.08 (Championship Night)

I'd like to see Stevie get into the MITB match - it would raise his stature on the brand even if he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. Stevie was hurt in a garbage match when the barrier was dropped on his neck, so there is storyline potential here with Stevie risking his health by entering the MITB match. Hell you could have him go against docters orders, have his wife ask him not to compete in it sorta deal. The problem with Chavo as champion is that there is no compelling matches for him in ECW. I mean I'd like to see Benjamin vs Chavo, but more as a one-off match than a prolonged feud and both are heels right now. It's way the hell too soon for a Chavo vs Kofi feud, Chavo vs Dreamer is blah. What other faces are there? ECW is the land of heels.

    ECW 3.4.08 (Championship Night)

If Punk moves to SD, a face will move in to replace him. I wonder if they're setting up a WM extreme rules match between the two at WM. Punk could be added to MITB, however then you leave the ECW title off the show?

Is Houston next year unofficially confirmed? You'd have to believe that they'd head up to the NE before thinking about PHX.

WWE General Discussion - March 2008

I can't believe they'll do three southern state WM's in a row. I'm surprised that Dallas's billion dollar new stadium didn't win out over Houston. Houston could also have HBK and/or Undertaker retirement matches.

WWE General Discussion - March 2008

How is that possibly Kennedy's fault? It sounds like Jericho just botched the flip. Unless he had to push off harder off the rope and it messed everything up.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

They're probably trying to bankrupt the paysites - make all the sites that rip-off the paysites more popular, thus drawing away eyes and subscriptions when everybody paying for the news realizes they can get it for free. Pay sites go out of business and then then the sites the wwe is linking have no news to report and they disappear as well.

    Bobby Lashley released

I'm betting it was the race issue. Everybody knows about pro-wrestling and steroids. Besides I think Lashley was roided to the gills before the wwe even signed him.

Mysterio to have surgery, out 4-6 months

Because it's some shortcut procedure that could have him back in 6 weeks.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

You're probably right. Show knows the business and even losing in such a high profile angle is great for his career. I wonder what the pinning sequence will be. Probably a high cross body off the top rope with Rey Mysterio getting involved as well.

    ECW 2.26.08

I like the guy and he's had very good matches with Punk in ECW, it's just that I don't think wwe fans have ever cared about him enough to do this comeback angle. I'd much rather see him get frustrated and snap and become a Pillman-esque loose cannon character.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

I'd have more interest in Mayweather/Big Show for the simple reason that since he's said to be getting paid $20M I'm expecting him to be a helluva lot closer to WM Lawrence Taylor than WM Mike Tyson. I still don't like how the angle is being booked though - it was mucked up from the get-go. I also don't know what the outcome of any match will be, as I can't see PBF laying down, and Big Show doing the job would be ridiculous as well. It's almost as if there needs to be a couple tag team partners added.

    Smackdown to leave the CW

Thursdays has huge network competition though, I think Wednesdays would be a better move. I think TNA might actually like a move to Thursdays, because it would make it a "wrestling night" and it would be easier to lure wwe fans sitting down to watch SD! away than getting them to go out of their way to watch TNA on a seperate night. I mean if I'm sitting down to watch SD! and it's a commercial or lame storyline/match, I might just flip over to TNA sorta deal.

    ECW 2.26.08

Does anybody really care about this Stevie Richards storyline? Wwe seemed to make is a mission to alienate and shoo away original ECW fans, but outside of those mutants who really cares about him one lick?

    Smackdown to leave the CW

Wwe better get their pick of day and timeslot. Getting off Friday night could possibly make up for the downgrade station move. Wednesdays would probably be the best move, however they'd also have to move ECW from Tuesdays if possible. three straight nights of wwe programming would be too much. I suspect ECW will be folded when the current contract runs out. I mean if SD! ends up on MyNetworkTV and ECW lost it's only Sci-Fi backer, it's virtually doomed.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

WWE also confirmed that SD! is moving to MyNetworkTV - whatever that is. They better hope they get their choice of day and timeslot to make up for the household loss. I think the $20M figure is out there to get publicity and to make people believe Mayweather might actually do something significant - more along the lines of Lawrence Taylor vs Bam Bam Bigelow than Trump or Tyson. I bet he's getting a percentage of the buyrate with a maximum take of $20M or something. Maybe something like 50% of the take over last years numbers or something.

The OaO Raw Thread for 2/25/2008.

I'm thinking it won't be Batista because SD will not go over Raw. Other possibilities could be Kane or Mark Henry. I suspect that we could see Batista vs MVP if Hardy can't go yet.

The OaO Raw Thread for 2/25/2008.

Looking at the WM card chaping up- the wrestlers somewhat deserving not yet booked are - Raw-Carlito, Santino, Cody, Holly, Cade, Murdoch, London, Kendrick SD!-MVP, Palumbo, Noble, Kane, Henry, Jesse/Festus, Duece, Domino ECW-Burke, Big Daddy V, Miz, Morrison, Dreamer, Delaney, Kofi, Richards There could be a tri-brand tag team scramble type match that would take care of Carlito/Santino, Rhodes/Holly, Cade/Murdoch, Miz/Morrison, Dreamer/Delaney, Kendrick/London, Jesse/Festus, Deuce/Domino and even Henry/Big Daddy V. Maybe a battle royal set-up or something so you could include all of them without taking up too much time. That would leave Palumbo, Noble, Kane, for the SD! MITB and one of Burke, Kofi or Richards.
