I don't know is it? You seem to worry about that stuff.
-
It's all politics with HHH right now - he knows he's screwing over Hardy and the "boys" know he's screwing over Hardy and thus he's trying to put him over in any quasi-meaningful way he can. Hardy's time is now, and he'll probably never be as over as he is now with fans clamoring for a title win as they are now however HHH wants his title. So first you have Hardy go over HBK clean on Raw, and then you have Hardy kick out of the pedigree - that's supposed to calm the critics.
-
If WM is not a triple threat with HHH vs Orton vs Cena I'll eat a bug.
-
Well Big Show was training to box, I guess he wants to show that off at WM. Probably have a boxing match, with Mayweather coming out on top, only to have Big Show chokeslam him or something with a wrestler making the save, setting up Big Show's return feud.
-
I think we're getting a HHH vs Orton vs Cena Title match. Probably get a screwy finish in the title match tonight, maybe have the title held up, and then have HHH win the EC, that way all three competitors would have claim to being in the title match. However with UT vs Edge, I don't know what you would do with Batista.

Is big Show coming back or was that the Lagana leak rumor? I mean with Hogan and Bischoff again rumored to be starting a wrestling company wouldn't Big Show have waited for that with his buddies? -
I hate this card, but then I've never liked the Elimination Chamber set-up. I also HATE the idea of the RR shot being burned now - If Cena wins the title and then loses it to HHH at WM, then Hardy should have won the title at RR, If Cena loses the match, then they sould have thought of a better angle to bring back Cena with that going for the shock value of the RR return, If Cena wins and then retains at WM, they should have skipped this match altogether.

Morrison is supposed to sound like Val Kilmer's Jim Morrison. I actually think stuff like this should be shown on television to help build characters. -

I don't know about the Kave vs Edge rematch, then again the Edge match isn't selling the PPV anyways. I was going to suggest that you remove Batista from the EC and slide Kane in there, but then that match is an absolute foregone conclusion. -
http://youtube.com/watch?v=bC9dvJAmeoU Much obliged. I recall that is wasn't bleeped out though when it originally aired.

Subtlety is not the strength of the wwe, in fact it simply doesn't exist i the wwe. Expect a live sex segment with Paul and Katie coming soon to a Raw near you. If they kept it smart and nuanced, it could actually work - but this is the wwe afterall. I completely agree that the curbstomp should simply be his finisher. I'll also echo the Hardy no-selling the reverse figure-4 was beyond ridiculous and I hope somebody pointed that out to him. Maria's clotheslines were more like flying wrist strikes. I couldn't care less if Candace is coming back. Writing it "'Roids" looked stupid in the anti-PED promo. Cena is already chance the channel material for me. Why is Mark Henry now on Raw? Does anybody care about Finlay vs McMahon? Jericho vs Bradshaw was solid, if unspectacular. Jericho needs to wear a shirt of something for his entrance - the look just isn't working for him right now. -

They'd do it just to get him away from TNA is all. I don't believe he is free any time soon though. Gerweck didn't source it to any of the in-the-know sites this time. Joe would never be a top guy, unless the fans demanded it early, because he's built like Trevor Murdoch, and the wwe is still all about the big muscles. -

Rory seemed to be packing on the pounds and was rather unmotivated as well lately. I wonder if they'll just repackage Whatshisface McIntrye and slide him in - sorta like Crush with Demolition or just shelve the team for the time being. -

According to Gerweck(thous probably from a pay site) Samoa Joe's contract is set to run out sometime in June. I know we've heard this all before, but if it's legit I don't think Joe will be able to turn down the money Vince will throw at him. -
Anybody have the promo where Rock dropped the "silver spooned Motherfucker" line live on Raw - the look on Stephanie's face was hilarious.

I have NO interest in a UT vs Edge feud. It just doesn't capture my interest is all. -

TNA simply doesn't have the roster necessary to run monthly PPV's. They should just go to six PPV's a year, sorta like WWE's old Big Four. I imagine their buyrates are putrid as well. -

WM25 will be somewhere in the North - especially with them looking at PHX and Vegas for 25. I'd say NY, but they had one recently. MSG is likely too small a venue for the big #25, but Vince loves that Arena - it's too bad New Yankee and Citi(new Shea) are both open air stadiums. The Barclays Center (New Jersey Nets new Brooklyn arena) will not be finished until 2010 at the earliest. Chicago and Detroit had #22 and #23 respectively. 21 was in LA, 20 was in NY, 19 in Seattle, 18 in Toronto, 17 in Houston, 16 Anaheim, 15 Philly, Boston had 14. I'd guess Boston or Philly. Toronto and Seattle have closed stadiums, which is always a draw and could be possibilities as well. I believe they have been looking at Calgary for 22 or 23, but with the history and bad feelings I don't know if they'd go there. According to Wiki the new Dallas stadium will be open for the NFL season in 2009, so it would be an option. I guess they did do Chicago and Detroit in back-to-back years, so Florida/Dallas shouldn't be dismissed. It is certainly big enough a stadium and would be brand spanking new. I wonder if HBK would hang around for another year to retire in his home state. Actually Football 2009 would be in September 2009, so it might not be ready in March 2009. Besides I don't think Jones would want anything other than his Cowboys to be the big opening act for the Stadium. I think it can be assumed that the WM25 venue has already been chosen by this stage, or at least narrowed down to a short list. -

I like how his Macho Man and Stone Cold are now Jay Lethal and Shark Boy. Didn't he write a book or give an interview where he said a couple male wrestlers tried to get him high to have sex with him or something like that? Edit - actually here is the interview - The whole interview can be found here -

I hope Nathan Jones does come back, I was a fan. Though as much as I dig big man matches I'm certainly not looking forward to Khali vs Jones and you know that would be pretty inevitable. I also wonder if the Colossus of Boggo Road could pass the Wellness tests. -
So you want to fire 35 or so wrestlers?
-
I agree that wherever they land - stay off Friday or Weekend shows at all cost. I agree that Wednesdays seems like the best day of the week as Thursdays have stacked network line-ups. However with ECW on Sci-Fi tuesday nights, three straight nights of wwe seems like overkill. Now if ECW was moved to Friday, you could have Monday Night Raw, Wednesday SD! and than an edgier ECW on Friday nights.

OVW produced Cena, Batista and Orton. Even if they only produced one of those guys, I'd consider the whole thing a success. Here's the list from the OVW site - Beth Phoenix Bobby Lashley Carlito Charlie Haas Cody Rhodes DH Smith Jillian Hall John Cena Lance Cade Maria Melina Mickie Ken Kennedy Randy Orton Highlanders London Santino Benjamin Snitsky Batista Kurt Hawkins Zach Ryder Cherry Deuce Domino McIntyre Festus Jesse Ken Dykstra Maryse Mark Henry Victoria AAE Boogeyman CM Punk Elijah Burke Morrison Kelly Kelly Kevin Thorn Mike Mizanin That's 41 current workers - three world champions - Cena, Orton, Batista and three ECW champions - Punk, Morrison, Lashley along with a slew of tag champions and womens champions. Looking at the active roster, wwe has about 90 wrestlers (not counting referees or interviewers/broadcasters/GM's) - so basically half the current roster came up through OVW.
