WWE General Discussion - November 2007
Thanks for the Fish replied to Craig Th's topic in The WWE Folder
No such thing. -
Maybe it was a Bond villian-type killer hat...
-
Yeah it wouldn't make any sense with they already announcing it. Then again that never stopped wwe before. What about Dykstra helping out his former buddy in order to set-up Punk/Palumbo+ vs Morrison/Dykstra+
-
I'm expecting a SD! wrestler to pop up and cost Punk the match and the title. That's the reason why he'll be on SD! this week.
-
Hell, I must have missed that. Was it a rematch from the ECW encounter?
-
Co-branded? I thought they could just swap talent. I understand Noble, Moore, Yang and Kane coming over initially and all, it just doesn't make sense to have a SD! vs SD! match on ECW. Are we going to see Dreamer vs BDV on SD?
-
Burke vs the failed ECW Jobber The Reject? They're really stacking the hell out of the show tonight...
-
So is Kane a full time ECW wrestler now? I mean why not have Kane vs Henry on SD! otherwise? I know Sci-Fi wants more Sci-Fi stuff and the wwe thinks booking See No Evil Kane appeases that, but I'm not understanding having that match on ECW. Also nice to see that SD! jobbers come over and beat ECW jobbers. I know ECW can't win'em all, but could we at least have ECW talent go and get a win on SD?

It'd be nice if they could let Kane or Matt be the sole survivor. BAH! I'm hoping for MVP and Finlay... -
OAO 11/05 Raw Thread...... no longer thinking about "Y2J"

Is there any hope that MVP and Finlay are the survivors of that match? -

I'm not getting this "one night only" return of DX thing - I mean they never lost a "loser breaks up forever" tag match or anything right? If HBK and HHH wanted to they could "reform" DX whenever they wanted to. And with McMahon making the reunification, it makes it seem like HHH and HBK have issues and are being forced together or something, which is clearly not the case either. It's all silliness, probably done to make the show seem "extra special" for the start of the November sweeps. Santino needs to take out Austin - there is no reason whatsoever for Austin to punk Santino. One is a retired oldtimer and the other is a current up-and-comer. Of course in the twisted minds of the wwe, Santino being in the same ring as Stone Cold is rub enough. And then they wonder why they cannot create any new stars anymore. -

I'll never understand why Matt Morgan was fired in the first place and then never brought back - I mean for his size he was competent in the ring and at worst passable on the mic(even with the shitty stuttering gimmick). I swear he must have made a pass at Linda or something... Matt Cappotelli was well on his way to a call-up and was the best of the TE bunch before his brain tumor was discovered. I do winder if he could have ever made it in the lockerroom given his crying on the television show. Kenny King is working for FIP, appeared in TNA and I think had a date or two in ROH. After wondering what ever happened to Jake (from the year Linda and Jackie won) and Hawk, I did a IMDB search and it looks like Jake did some porn work and Hawk is dabbling in indie horror movies. Jonah was offered a TNA contract in 2003 however turned it down because he thought it would hurt his chances down the line with the WWE. He's no longer wrestling. Daniel Puder could have worked, but he didn't want to take the pay cut after the first year of training. He's fighting in lower MMA cards, still trying to live off his Kurt Angle keylock, and I believe he recently auditioned to be an American Gladiator on the show of the same name they are bringing back with Hulk Hogan hosting. Ryan Reeves was a juice monkey in OVW before being released. Dan Rodimer said that Justice Smith turned down a developmental deal because he could make better money outside the business. If they ever did another Tough Enough I think they should go the route of The Ultimate Fighter and use indie and developmental talent as opposed to grabbing kids off the street with no training. -
I wonder if the only thing keeping Masters job is the fact he'd make a helluva witness against the wwe. Afterall he took the policy seriously and dropped a lot of mass and was ridiculed on camera for it, and no doubt behind the scenes as well to the point he thought it was in best career interest to juice up again. I want the big fish caught - HHH and Batista specifically, however they're probably paid well enough to be able to afford the undetectable stuff and or are high enough in the food chain to know when tests are coming. Baseball was recently exposed by the fact that players knew a day before that the tests were coming because the independant testers would have to call and arrange parking and security passes the day before, as well as a room where the testing could take place. I'm betting HHH is privy to such information and passes it on to his chosen ones.

It depends on the person and if you believe in the stuff. I went on a few haunted tours in Edinburgh's underground and such and of course they are supposed to be amongst the most haunted area's in the world and I didn't find it spooky or anything, however others on the tour were absolutely freaking out. Same things with haunted houses - some people go in looking to be freaked, I think they're silly. Also they said Burke was from WEC - I wonder if that was purposeful because Punk crapped all over the show last year... -

TNA spoiled Jericho when they reported that talks broke off and he was likely going to WWE. -

I dig Survivor Series when they have team warfare. With HBK vs Orton and announced at the SD! taping I'm hoping the rest of the card will be filled with teams. HHH vs Umaga could be team vs team - something like Umaga/Santino/Kennedy/Carlito vs HHH/Austin/J.Hardy/DHSmith. SD! could have Team Mysterio(Rey/Matt Hardy/Kane/Palumbo) vs Team Finlay(Finlay/MVP/Chavo/Dykstra). Team Punk(Punk/Balls/Dreamer/Thorn) vs Team Morrison/Miz(Morrison/Miz/Burke/Knox), and then a couple interbrand matches. Interbrand Tags Spanky/London, Jesse/Festus, Majors, Holly/Cody vs Cade/Murdoch, WGTT, Highlanders, Deuce/Domino and interbrand David vs Goliath type pitting Henry/Big Daddy V/Snitsky/Khali vs Noble/Hornswoggle/Mystery Man #1/Mystery Man #2) match that could be set-up by Coach and Vicki who have issues with Hornswoggle and Noble right now. Noble/Hornswoggle would have two mystery partners because nobody wants to team with them. -
Monster Mash Battle Royal. Miz Vs Morrison. More Balls & Kelly.

Because no matter what, ECW HAS to be made to look like the "C" show that it is. Why in God's name would Vince let a guy from that Tuesday Night show beat his Silverback? Especially when Henry will soon be moved to the Raw brand... -

I think Morrison vs Punk has Kane/MVP beat and for whatever reason Dkystra/Palumbo is gaining quickly. At least Morrison/Punk and Kane/MVP are usually good matches and have and hold fan interest, can't say the same for Custom Chucky P and Kenny. Punk on SD! next week? So ECW gets Jesse and Festus, and Jimmy Wang Yang and SD! gets ECW's champion. If Punk loses on SD! I'm done with wwe wrestling. Isn't Morrison vs Punk title match next week on ECW? So Punk is going to wrestle twice? And since SD! is usually taped before ECW, won't the title match be spoiled depending on if Punk comes out with the ECW title or now on SD!? -

He is. However his only other ECW appearance was jobbing to Kevin Thorn a couple of weeks ago and no connection was ever made to KC James - so for all intents and purposes he is a jobber. -

I wonder if any other monsters will crash the party tonight. What's Boogeyman's status?? Is he still injured? I wonder if his job is at state considering Booker T was the one who got him his job back in the first place. Jacob Duncan has been working the house show circuit recently and there is rumor of an eventual Umaga for Mark Henry "trade"... -

They'd have to dig out the old Bundy/Hogan blue bars cage for that, though they'd probably all use the door. However Khali was pretty agile in the Punjabi Prison cage climb and Mark Henry has climbed and stood on top the tv cage before and you'd think Kane woudl have the least trouble out of the four right - BDV isn't climbing out no matter what you do. -
Pull a reverse Bushwhackers? Or simply the Bushwhackers when they were the Sheepherders... absolutely freaking insane. That's what I was getting at.

Punk shit all over the show last year. I'm surprised they had anybody back. Then again it probably did spike the ratings for that episode.

There was a rumor that WGTT will go the way of Billy and Chuck and soon...
