Draft Predictions or who would you liked to see moved?
Thanks for the Fish replied to Scroby's topic in The WWE Folder
Here's what I would do... To Raw Chris Benoit - Raw needs some workrate wrestlers with HBK out, and HHH still a couple months away William Regal - See above, plus tight with HHH might lead to a singles push to upper mind card at least Bobby Lashley - I think he has money feuds with HHH, Cena and Benoit Michelle McCool - Need to get her on the womens wrestling show where the belt is Snitzky - ECW is too small to build a monster in via squash matches. To Smackdown CM Punk - he's stagnating on ECW, needs to wrestle better workers to improve and develop Val Venis - I think SD Bookers might actually push him. Gives SD! back a solid worker to help replace Benoit/Regal Umaga - Though I would like to see Umaga vs Benoit feud, I think Umaga benefits by moving to SD! Maria - Swapped out with McCool. Should be on the road with Punk. Kelly Kelly - just to break up extreme expose To ECW Santino Marella - Angle didn't work as well as they thought it might on paper. Gives the wrestler a fresh start. Worst case scenario he teams with Nunzio if the tag division ever takes off. Best case they push him as the new Taz like Heyman wanted to. Carlito - Probably seen as punishment, however I think he's lost in the midcard on Raw, and could be the man in ECW if he accepts the challenge. With Lashley on Raw, Carlito could be ECW Champion in short order. Jamie Noble - I don't know if wwe still knows he exists, but he's a solid wrestler who just needs an opportunity. The Miz - I don't like the guy, but needs exposure that he won't get on other shows. Ashley - to balance out the diva swapping, though she'll be fired soon enough. Raw Upper Card - HHH, Benoit, Cena, Lashley, Orton SD! Upper Card - Edge, Batista, Booker T, Undertaker, CM Punk, Umaga, MVP, Matt Hardy, Finlay ECW Upper Card - Carlito, Elijah Burke, Marcus Cor Von, Santino Marella(repackaged) , Jamie Noble(re-packaged) -
WWE General Discussion for June 2007

Didn't Steve-o and the other guy screw around and sort of no-sell Umaga's offence when they made their last wwe appearance? They'll probably be in the main event angle, but not in the main event match, sorta like how Trump was handled. They'll probably screw up and have the storyline dropped by then though. I wonder who they are supposed to be feuding with? Against or with Foley could be interesting if hardcore and death matchweapons were involved. You have to assume the Jackass guys would be poen to being powerbombed in thumbtacks or being being thrown into barbed wire or set on fire -
Maybe RVD is winning and thus has to work a few more tapings as opposed to this being his last match before a long vacation...

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

I don't think keeping the referees in the dark is a smart decision. First of all, you're going to see a lot more one counts as wrestlers don't want to risk the 2 and 9/10th count for dramatic effect when a slightly quicker count cadence by the referee and they'd lose the match. The referee should be completely in on the script and the match planning, and should carry out his role accordingly - if he is looking right at the cheating, then it is his fault just as much as it is the wrestlers if it was a pre-planned spot. Why stop with the referees, why not have the announcers call the match cold? This is probably all a result of the Vince/Lashley screw up in the final build up for WM when the referee counted the pin after one Samoan Drop when Lashkey was supposed to kick up. Either Vince was laying on Lashley too snug or Lashly didn't hear the count and the referee counted three. I understand that referee's look stupid when the wrestler doesn't kick out, but this alternative isn't going to work either. I mean if they're working it like a shoot, wouldn't they be watching the heels a lot closer? Wouldn't they react to fan reaction when it's obvious something is going on behind their backs? Reguarding Stephanie running the WWE, I honestly believe she'll ruin the company if not put the company out of business. -

So Stephanie will be Vince and Shane will be Linda?? -
The Murdoch ring gear has to be a rib. I mean there has to be other wrestlers with more similar gear in the back right?

WWE Champion & TNA Star With Heat Cause Scene In Public
Thanks for the Fish replied to Enigma's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't believe this. Cena probably doesn't even know who Ron Killings is. -
Or RVD is smart enough to realize that if it was known that he was heading to TNA that he would have been buried. By letting it be known that he has no interest in TNA and was open to returning to the WWE, he won't be buried. Remember Angle wasn't heading to TNA until they announced it. He could be using Sabu and his wife as a go-between, keeping it on the super downlow.

When was the last time a moonsault was "landed" on a downed opponent in the wwe? Was it Super Crazy's finisher? It seems like the opponent always moves out of the way these days... If the wwe worried so much about their wrestlers they wouldn't have they jacked up so tight that they tear a muscle walking to the ring. I bet London can control his SSP more than Hardy can control hit twisty-flippy shit deal that misses his opponent just as often as he hits him. 450 I can understand as it's largely out of control, SSP's can be perfectly safe (well as safe as anything is in wrestling) and cuts a good visual for the fans.
-
Kidman's SSP is a terrible one to use as an example - it was ugly as hell. It was more like falling with style. He's sorta chuck himself off, flipping in the descent and completely out of control. If done by London (among others), it's really all for show and style points and really nothing more than a top rope splash. You're basically flipping on your way up and then come down under control for the splash.
-
Angel will probably give Scott D'Amore a call and see if there is any place for her in TNA. I guess there's always Shimmer as well. Being a diva developmental is a waste of time unless you are a diva search also-ran. I don't mind the banning of the SSP and 450 splashes - there is too much room for error and injury. If one gets over on such mores, fans expect to see that move at every house show to boot and that only multiplies the chance of injury. Besides, the SSP makes moonsaults and Swanton Bombs look pedestrian. I do believe Ken Kennedy only got over initially because of his off the second rope finisher. I also think that's what injured him the first time and made him miss 8 mos.

Either that or they'll edit the Cena vs Khali encounter into the ME spot...
-
Remember Santino was dubbed as being Canadian when he debuted...
-
I bet it's that horrid Super Eugene get-up that was floating around the wrestling boards not too long ago...
-
I think Lashley should be moved to Raw as he'd be fresh competition for both Cena and HHH down the line. He's not bad at all in the ring against the right opponent, he needs a ring general to lead him around by his hand for the most part, but I think he and HHH could have a damn good program if HHH is willing to show some ass. Lashley vs HHH, Lashley vs Cena, Lashley vs Orton, Lashley vs Benoit are all matches I'd like to see.

Palumbo fought on the Heat webcast this past week - looks pretty much the same to me, I don't know why the guy was brought back. Rather bland, except he rides a motorcycle out - no biggie. Might as well send him to ECW to team with Nunzio if they don't plan on tweaking his look or building up his character any.
-
With Rebecca fired, Batista's probably lonely at night. Fear not, the Diva Search is only weeks away - fresh meat.
-
Shane doesn't want the hassle of the crazy work hours and the time away from his family. He's happy with regular hours in the WWE Headquarters and half of Vince's money when he dies. Basically he's Linda to Stephanie's Vince.
-
Well, I believe the wwe had no pinfall/submission rule for thir cage matches and Bundy was never going to climb out of the cage, so they needed the door option. However now with pinfalls and submissions allowed, they should lock the cage door. However once again the big guy, usually the heel, isn't likley to climb out of the cage, and if the face tried, it's like they're running away...

Hell Viscera is more imposing than Umaga. I think it's time to contract Rosey and unleash a Savage Tagteam, to battle with the Hip Hoppers, the Highlanders, The RedNex, the Hardy Boyz and WGTT... -

I don't know why they just don't call Viscera by his real name - Nelson Frazier. Just so Ross could do his best Cosell impersination "Down Goes Frazier!!! Down Goes Frazier!!" -
But that would've killed the whole reason for the feud which is MVP has to learn how to defeat Beniot. He wrestled Benoit enough times to know how to beat him. Plus it wasn't an 100% Benoit. I disagree. He would have beat him for the first fall, however would have lost because of the "politics" and the 2 out of 3 falls stipulation. It would have been the next match where MVP would have went over and won the title in a single fall match. Maybe Benoit will regain the title on the rematch, but I doubt it.
-
That's silly booking. It would have made more sense, given how the feud has gone for MVP to win the first match, but then lose the next two.

Nobody cares about Cade and Murdoch because the wwe doesn't care about their tag team division. The moment C&M remotely start to get over they'll be split up and added to the singles ranks. WWE is high on both of the wrestlers though. Whenever a second or 3rd generation wrestler is looking for a wrestling school they are always advised to go to Harley Race's school. Harley Race really put over Punk and Murdoch when they were signed by the wwe, Murdoch being a former student of his. So you have Cade with his HBK pedigree and Murdoch with Harley Race's stamp of approval (understanding that HHH worships Harley Race).
