Kids in highschool used to party eventhough it was completely out of their character becuase they wanted stories when they were older, similarly when I was backpacking in Europe there was the same type of self aware kid going out of their way to struggle, living on nothing and travelling by thumb because that's the stories they heard from their parents and such when they did 30 years previously. I agree MVP isn't over enough to have the US Title, because outside of Benoit I can't match himup with another wrestler that would make a compelling feud.

Does leaving the company mean quitting and headling elsewhere? RVD wanted the summer off even if he re-upped. Then again ECW has been about Punk/Burke and Lashley, with RVD a secondary player. RVD would make the most sense. However leaving the company could be retiring, as opposed to ones contract running out. HBK needs time off but is gutting it out because the company needed him . Chavo Guerrero was said to have been given the CW title in order to try and keep him. However Chavo isn't one of wwe's "biggest stars". Tazz contract was coming up wasn't it? Benoit is an afterthought these days and was happy when he was off. Kane was another that was heading for time off, and was looking to put over Fake Kane to pass the torch as his career was winding down. Biggest to me would be one of the big Big 9 (Undertaker, Batista, Edge, HHH, HBK, Lashley, Orton, Cena, Kennedy) or one of the long time workers like Benoit or Kane. Could Biggest be literal and Khali has had enough? I bet that grueling European Schedule convinced this person that they'd had enough. I could see Dusty leaving, as wwe got what they wanted out of him(HOF and probably a DVD).

Do the Brits even see Harry as one of their native sons? Paul Burchill or even Steve Lewington are both native Brits. I read somewhere that Harry (and Nattie) could debut at a Raw in Calgary in July - I think that would make more sense. I'd like to see Paul Burchill debut in ECW, and with ECW/SD! also in London tomorrow there could be worse places to re-deut him.

If Flair ever gets his one last ME push, having AA in his corner would be the way I'd do it. However Arn can't get physically involved at all or would risk losing his insurance money. I wonder how much money we're talking about here, because if Arn was ready and willing but couldn't due to the money issue, it might make sense for the wwe to cover his losses. I mean he couldn't have been insured for a whole helluva lot as I don't believe he would have been making the big bucks before he got injured.

I believe road agent Steve Keirn's scool/promotion is the Florida based possibility. Another one being considered is Booker T's school down in Texas. What I'd like to see is a territories system set up where maybe both schools/promotons would be used, along with OVW. Give the kids a chance to get a replicated feel for the old days as so they could better "pay their dues".

The friggin bookers are going to ruin this angle wih the timing of it all. Punk's big mic explaination will be largely lost in front of an Italian crowd. Why couldn't they have his turn and explaination saved until ECW was in the North East USA?

Once you've posed nekkid, wwe has got everything they wanted out of you and it's time for fresh meat. Truth be told they'd probably want Torrie to leave, but she's too entrenched and accpeted in the lockerroom that they just can't dump her on the side of the road and drive off. You get models who have no love for the business, pimp them out as Diva's get one or two to pose nekkid and then fire them or have them quit and move on to the next pretty face. Diva's stick around too long and earn respect in the lockerroom and the booking crew is stuck with them. And once you've seen them in a handful of bra and panties matches, let alone their their naughty bits if they go the Playboy route, they really are not nearly as marketable anymore. I think Christie Hemme scared the office by desiring to learn to wrestle. They already got her naked, they didn't want her sticking around. This is also why I think they don't promote the OVW/DSW Diva's all that much, while not all are model quality, they are pretty hardcore fans and dedicated to the business and are probably less likely to want to pose nakid, and more likley to earn the respect of the lockerroom and be tougher to get rid of once they are used and abused.

It would make certain sense that Miz would be behind the Kristal/Long storyline right now as didn't Miz and Kristal pair up previously on programming in a program with Boogeyman? Long gets forced out by a harassment claim from Kristal, and you have dickish heel Miz the new GM and mastermind. I don't know why Vince has a hard-on to get rid of Jim Ross. WWE should tape ECW before SD! rather than having ECW air live after the SD! taping. I mean I like ECW but can understand the apathy towards the ecw matches after watching Benoit/MVP, London and Kendrick vs D&D and the ME and then watching the minor leagues. It's like putting on the "Opening act" after the main attraction at a concert.

Thorn and Striker both are bad fits for The New Breed. I guess Striker isn't terribly bad as the sycophant tagalong, but Thorn's inclusion was ridiculous from the get-go. Mike Knox or even pre-jobber Test would have been better choices for the big man muscle. Punk/Burke/CorVon could do some damage together though. RVD and the Originals JOB SQUAD needs some new blood though - Mysterio or especially Chris Benoit would be ideal additions. Benoit vs Burke, Benoit vs CorVon, Benoit vs Punk, Benoit vs Lashley and eventually Benoit vs RVD and Benoit vs Sabu are all money matches in my opinion. Is there any TNA ECW alum's soon to be out of work? Dudleys, Rhino, Raven? Raven would be cool as hell, even if he is a fat slob these days.

Burchill vs Flash Funk as the dark match - Lets hope both head to ECW, with Funk as 2ColdScorpio of course. I assume Kane vs Regal/Taylor for Backlash. Where has Khali been? He wins his WM match vs Kane and disappears? London and Kendrick beat D&D - Who's left (assuming Kane vanquishes Regal and Taylor)? Me thinks we're going to see London and Kendrick vs Hardy Boys in a unification match. This would allow the tag title holders to wrestle on any show.

Turning Punk heel without giving him the mic is ridiculous. Of course that might be the hook to tune in next week. I don't mind the heel turn, but they need to let him heel, otherwise he might turn the NB face. I do agree that it only gives more star power to the New Breed, and makes the Originals look more like suckers. Originals need some big name back-up if this is the way the lines are going to be drawn.

Punk joining the Originals because he could have made it in the old ECW sorta deal. He is an outcast at heart and was accepted by the old ecw mutant fans that crapped over everything else.... Of course Punk should pick neither. New Breed gets pissed and jumps him the next couple of weeks and the Originals stay out of Punks business.
