Mizanin vs Boogeyman will not happen, either that or the tag team match will have the title on the line and Cena will inadvertantly cause Batista to be pinned.
-
So who confronts Stallone? Of course Cena will make the save. Maybe Nitro? Randy Orton?? If Rocky does well, it is said that we should expect a Flair or Hogan title run in the not so distant future. At this stage, I think Flair is much more likely to get a run. Cena offers Flair a title shot during a Raw in Carolina??

Well Im going to the House show on the 26th in Albany. OMG historic night!! I don't get something here. Is Meltzer implying a 3rd member to DX? Unless I missed something, I guess this is a handicap match? More than likely a handi-capped match. Then again, maybe Kenny jumps over to DX. With Edge and Orton clowning him and making him "earn it", it would make certain sense. With the way he's going after DX, maybe he earns their respect. It's just too bad Harry Smith couldn't get the Rodimer role. Unlike Rodimer, Smith is ready for the spot on the main roster.

Personally I'm not a fan of the brand, however TNA establishing itself as a sontrong alternative is great for the business. WWE is so damn stale right now and they don't seem to give a damn. It's also great for the talent as they have options now and don't have to kiss the ring(or the ass) of Vince McMahon and Princess Stephanie. If I had a Neilson box I'd turn the television to TNA even if I had no plans on watching it.

Nitro is al flash with little substance, Merc is all substance with little flash.

What did she answer? That my husband died and since VKM and Co. feel guilty they gave me a job where I get he heel on my husbands legacy, but I have little choice but to do it because I need the money since my husband was the provider in our family? I wonder if there was chance of a lawsuit possibility and VKM hired her in CYA mode.

Sting/Abyss/Mitchell reeks of the type of storyline you find in Christian/Catholic Wrestling Federations across the country. Add Sting and Russo are born again and Mitchell is the devil here...

WON News + Notes (December 11 Issue)
Thanks for the Fish replied to The Decemberists's topic in The WWE Folder
Punk tapping Big Show would have saved the PPV and possibly Heyman's job and to takeit a step further might have saved ECW (which I assume will not last past the tv deal expiration). More than the shitty undercard, the PPV ending early or the lack of announced matched on the card or Sabu's removal it was Punk's treatment that made people shit all over the card. I wouldn't have put Punk over Big Show in four minutes though, I would have had RVD out with him - to keep Show strong and make it at least 7-8 minutes before Show would tap out. Then you could have had RVD and Punk go at it for a bit before Lashley entered - let the faces beat the crap out of each other, maybe have Punk eliminated, then have fresh Test and fresh Holly beat on the tired faces the rest of the match. Have RVD eliminated by the savage elbow off the top of the pod and then Holly and Test could double team Lashley the rest of the match until it was down to Test and Lashley. This would have also worked in setting up the Lashley-Big Show match on Sci-Fi as Big Show could call Lashley a paper champion and that "To be the man you have to beat the man" sorta deal. -
Considering Umaga's character, could we have a Saba Simba gimmick with Monty Brown?

I think this is more likely a shot at TNA, as the Hebners run one of the feds that is a proxy-TNA house show. Of course it wouldn't hurt to get Hebner back refereeing in the wwe, and I'm sure they probably want Hebner back in time for next years Survivor Series in MTL.

Lashley's bodyslamming of Big Show on ecw programming this week was pretty damn impressive. Of course Cena FU's Big Show with relative ease sort of diminishes the feat, eventhough the Bodyslam is actually much harder to execute. Big Show is 10x times the wrestler Andre was. I think many remember the old timers much too fondly. I'd love to see two wrestlers 100% mimic an old timey "classic" and then watch it get ripped apart by the IWC and the fans in attendence.

When is this show airing? Would they really air it on the 25th? Isn't the 18th show have a three hour timeslot?? Six matches, the Santa Masterlock Challenge and then the troop footage and possibly the award ceremony simply cannot fit into a two-hour show, given commercials and such.
-
Is this Undertaker's first trip over? It's interesting that he isn't in any of the Iraq photo's - Did he not go on the base tours or are they hiding pics to have a surprise appearance?? Benjamin vs Punk was the match that jumped out at me as well, though truth be told this show usually doesn't offer up much in terms of workrate.

From pwinsider - Paul Heyman was sent home from today's Monday Night Raw/ECW taping in North Carolina. We are still working on the story, but the word going around is that he's been let go by the company following last night's ECW PPV. There is a meeting ongoing currently with ECW talents about Heyman's departure. World Wrestling Entertainment posted an article on their website, citing, "The WWE Chairman cited slumping television ratings and a disgruntled talent roster as causes for Mr. Heyman’s dismissal."

xwrestling.com/Wrestling Uncensored was a fun site "back in the day", I remember The Wrestling Palace and Falcon were two others, along with Scoops and Wrestlemaniacs as well...

TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread
Thanks for the Fish replied to dubq's topic in TNA Wrestling
Before Monty Brown left there was talk of teaming Brown with Elix and Truth to form BET, a militant Black faction. With LAX akin to the Boriquas, BET like the Nation all you would need would be Skull and 8-Ball(who are both under contract with TNA) and maybe Lance Hoyt, who sounds like a white supremist name(Thanx Oz)... There was also a rumor that ROH's Prince Nana was going to be brought in for the BET faction, but somebody nixed that idea. I guess they could still do the faction, however call it the Black Elite Team, as opposed to each members initial to create the name. -
Big Show's bad back was probably caused by his ever expanding gut, which caused him to move even less, which caused him to put on more weight, which caused more issues with his back. Either the time away will allow Big Show to get healthy or he'll come back looking like Yokozuna...

What happened to that Tat on his calf? Does he still have it? It has been said that he is incredibly lazy with his workout habits/eating regime, though the road could really add to those issues. Who does the WWE push now as it's resident bigman? Khali can't wrestle worth a lick. Maybe they make a push to bring back Matt Morgan or push Viscera out of nowhere. There was something brewing with Viscera on Raw, with them making all of the fat remarks, also Charlie Haas has seemingly moved on from being his tag partner. Matt Morgan must have slept with Linda McMahon or something...

ECW Spoilers for the 12/5 Airing
Thanks for the Fish replied to BorneAgain's topic in The WWE Folder
This actually doesn't sound too bad on paper... However the matches must have been pretty short. -
Don't look know, but the spoilers sound pretty damn good on paper anyways...

Assuming Heyman was outright fired, I still think it would be in his best interest to take time off and stay away from TNA for the time being. Wait until Russo burns himself out or flames out and line yourself up for the head booker spot.
-
They won't release him contractually. they'll pay him to sit on his ass at home before they'd let TNA get a hold of him. I wonder if Heyman could get out of his contract though, I guess it would depend on the language in the contract and if he wanted to give up the money he would be making for doing nothing.
-
Yeah, I'm smelling work here as well. Just from the way they are handling it on wwe.com...
-
I don't disagree, that why I said I just think Punk does it wrong for whatever reason. I can't believe he wouldn't know how to do it properly, so either he is just lazy or he's loose with the technique for Sports Entertainment reasons.
-
The Anaconda Vice is a blood choke when done properly. I just think Punk doesn't do it properly is all.
