God I hate the internet. I don't even care about lotr and that pisses me off.

That would just be an insane worst case scenario.... possible but insane. Best case scenario, equally as unlikely.... Triple H gets by Cena, Edge uses shenanigans to retain against Batista but CM Punk cashes in MitB and beats Edge for the World belt to save Raw's credibility. If there was ever a time... I posted slow.

I'm gonna go with the long-shot prediction of Triple H winning to keep the WWE belt on Smackdown while Edge cheats to beat Batista making him go ballistic and wiping out the whole familia, leading to cm punk cashing in and winning the world championship for RAW. I wouldn't bet on it but it would be sweet.

This was probably the plan all along. They hoped to get a bigger audience with the giveaway and then pull a big mystery angle to keep those new viewers interested for another few weeks. Something needed to be done, you can't expect the would-be people that tuned in just for the money to stick around after its over.

On the overness of MCMG: I don't know if I would be comfortable calling anyone "over" in TNA based on just what we see. Taking cues from the Impact Zone crowd seems like a bad measuring stick to me. Like it or not, tna is in the world of the casual fan now and the impact zone is packed with the same indi fans that will always praise workrate above all else while the people at home don't understand why Joe is deified. I know I'm probably going down a well beaten path, but just because the crowd says "this is awesome" during MCMG matches doesn't make it a good idea to push them for a cable audience. While I wrote that I started thinking about who would be a good mix of workrate and showmanship in TNA and it makes me wonder what they think they are doing with Christopher Daniels. Dont get me wrong, I love Curry Man as much as the next guy but he could be somewhere special by now. Why did Styles get the big push and Daniels left in the dust? Oh yeah, and MCMG music sucks ass. I don't know if I hate that or the hand pointing worse. Their whole entrance makes them look like hyperactive 14 year olds.

It might just be a good book.

I think that would make it all the better to debut a heel. Nobody likes the guy that got his job because a relative got him in.

Geez, the people on that forum use way bigger words.

Step 1: Push a guy as an unbeatable monster for a year and a half. Step 2: Get a washed up star from wwe in the twilight of his career and have him beat him in the pinnacle of Joe's career. Step 3: Give Joe midcard feuds and an MVP type character that's supposed to be a face until nobody cares about him except TNA fanboys in the impact zone. Step 4: Lose your TV deal once Joe becomes champion at the most heatless point possible. I'll leave out the "Step 5: Profit!" joke. At least Russo will be out of a job again after all this.

If they had another singles belt they would just give it to Kurt Angle. ...or give another one to Samoa Joe.

I never understood why we were supposed to like a guy that didn't want to wrestle until he was paid more than anyone ever. I know TNA is supposed to be about characters and not just faces and heels, but the juxtaposition of everyone in the arena going apeshit over a fat guy that wants a huge contract for a ton of money confuses me as a viewer. In my opinion, they struck when the iron was sub-zero with Joe's title reign and their current situation may be no coincidence.

Well it's one thing to complain about Punk losing to a more or less equal wrestler like Matt Hardy with a roll up. I don't wanna be the one to say "uh oh Punk is in trouble again" but I don't see what logic there is to having Punk lose here. He's going into a tag match with Miz and Morrison; you generally have the face challengers win all the non-title or singles matches decisively before you do whatever it is you're going to do at the ppv. On top of that, ever since Punk has won money in the bank he's lost more matches than at any other time in his WWE career and this doesn't help at all. But hey, maybe they'll go somewhere with it.

I don't think enough people watch ECW, but once people hear from other complaints about it they'll join in. In other news, what the hell man. Miz beat Punk squeaky clean. Rabble rabble.

New "news" from wwe.com "ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Tuesday night, ECW announcers Mike Adamle and Tazz removed their headsets and left the broadcast position before the conclusion of ECW on Sci Fi. The event occurred just prior to the evening’s main event Handicap Match, featuring ECW Champion Kane and Chavo Guerrero with Bam Neely. Adamle and Tazz reportedly exited the arena and marched straight to the parking lot. Adamle was said to look shocked and expressionless as he left. WWE Superstars were shocked by this unprecedented occurrence. Calls and texts to both Adamle and Tazz have gone unanswered. It has been no secret that our traditional ECW fans have not been satisfied with Adamle’s lackluster commentary. Speculation is this could have led to the play by play and color commentator walking off during a WWE broadcast. Did Adamle and Tazz leave of their own volition or were they asked to leave? WWE.com will attempt to get exclusive video interviews from WWE Superstars about this situation and post them as soon as possible. Stay logged on to WWE.com to learn more about this shocking development." Needless to say it looks like a work but I don't know where they would go with this. However, I hope to hear "Mr. Adamle, that's not wise" from Tazz soon.

CM Punk will be better for WWE for a long time as an anti-drug figure. Though it's pretty double edged now as I see it; it would be pretty bad p.r. to have a guy everyone was supposed to boo because he's the only one that doesn't do drugs. At least Jericho can still turn whenever he needs to. All that considered, I don't think Jericho will ever be a really big star a-gain and Punk has nowhere to go but up, so I chose Punk.

Somebody call Don West and let him know he's not the worst wrestling commentator on television anymore.
