ZOMG BERRIED~! For what it's worth, it was a decent match for it's length.

He jumped OVER the first spear...I can't stress how much I love that spot.

Why are they going to job Punk out to Edge again? There's no way Punk is going over the world champion on free TV before Wrestlemania.
-
I missed it, what happened?

Except people were emotionally invested in that angle, and when it ended so badly, it turned a lot of people off. If this angle ends as badly as the Kurt/Stephanie/Hunter one did, I doubt we'd get the same reaction. I forget, how did that one end? I started watching wrestling a little bit before then, and it's been a while.

Fixed for truth. No. See, the problem is..people don't care about Chavo Guerrero, especially as ECW champion. The only reason he should have ever gotten the title was so that Punk could win it back. But yet again, he beats Punk and this time he does it clean, making it look like Punk has had his last chance and will have to move on. It's so boring and stupid. I swear it looked like they were building that match for Punk's victory, and then DAMMIT, Chavo won again. Although it was a good match. I really hope they blow it off with an extreme rules match or something...or if this is the end of the angle...well, it sucks. Punk is the most over guy on the roster, what's left for him on ECW? Who could possibly feud with Chavo? You mean ECW right? Because I'm sure Jeff Hardy would disagree, and a few others. Pretty sure he meant from ECW. I'd say he's #3 on the SD/ECW group behind Batista and Undertaker, so he's in good position. (Rey is out and Flair moves around too much to count) I know this is off-topic, but...I'm a girl, guys?

Okay, that intro video package was made of awesome.

What nonsensical swerve? I didn't see any of that...

I am dying of laughter right now.

Wow, that was lame. A glorified squash.

John Cena calls out the The Rock for leaving wrestling
JPopStarKami replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
Rock does like to put people over. Somehow I can see him coming back for a match if WWE offered the right opponent and the right price. -
John Cena calls out the The Rock for leaving wrestling

Except maybe 'one more match'. He never really said 'goodbye' to the business officially, he just kinda quietly disappeared. I'd like Rock to wrestle one more time at WM. -
First time hearing Kennedy's new music... WHAT THE !@$#?!
-
Why are they having this match? If it's to get Jericho into MITB, why not put him against JBL instead of jobbing Hardy out?

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
JPopStarKami replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Nobody's rationalizing what Benoit did, it's just how they chose to take it. -
What's with the new music hate? He needed his own theme song, Matt already has his.
-
So, is it still cool to blame HHH for everything?

How would YOU kill the ENTIRE WWE in 5-10 minutes?
JPopStarKami replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Have a segment declaring Vince has another relative and it turns out to be an Irish midget...oh wait. Mae Young shows her real breasts to John Cena (the then champ) in a RAW main event, he oversells it and she pins him to win the belt. -
It's gotta be a joke...who'd be stupid enough to use their work phone for something like that? If WWE writers were really smart, they wouldn't be WWE writers. You could argue that more for TNA writers.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008
JPopStarKami replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
The short answer is that you need money and need to realize you won't make any profit for quite a long time. So hopefully you'll have a lot of money to spend and won't think you'll make a lot off the gate, because you won't. Expect to lose money. If you woud like to own your promotion, you would be the promoter. Meaning you'd be the money guy...unless you have a friend who has deep pockets who'd like to volunteer his pockets to help fund your promotion, but good luck with that. Now if your going to be a promoter, don't be the booker, just be the promoter. Meaning don't worry about storylines, just worry about getting the ring to the building, finding a venue to run out of, concessions, and money to pay the wrestlers and the Refs, and finding people to help put the ring together, running concession and take in the geate money. Those are the things you should worry about being the promoter. Now I say don't be a promoter/booker because it's seriously is to much work. Take a wrestler or two or three and make them the booker(s) and let them worry about booking wrestlers and writing out your storylines. Just don't let them go overboard with booking wrestlers/Refs. Also truth be told, wrestlers listen and take bookers who are wrestlers more seriously. I guess it's a respect kind of thing, but that's what I've seen since I got in the buisness a few years ago. Thanks. Was just curious, what part of the business are you in? Booker, wrestler, etc? -

Depends. Are you looking to become a writer, or promoter? How do you define the two? Writer: Someone who takes a hand in crafting the angles/promos in a show. Promoter: Person who sets up the show. In the latter case, I think people don't realize that 5% of the job is creating the matches and angles. Far more work is involved in renting the building, advertising, booking the talent, acquiring the applicable permits, etc. Then writer, definitely. -
