Bruno Sammartino: vs. George Steele to open the Meadowlands Arena in 1981 (he'd be back by the end of 1984).

Special time 5pm Eastern/2pm Pacific means we're like 18 minutes away from showtime. Tune in, dammit!

Bumping because mine needs spots filled pronto.
-
Changed my default lineup when Willie Randolph got hurt and am now on a five game winning streak. Think I'll let it ride another series or two.
-
Since my friends are ignoring my fantasy baseball league I figured I'd give you guys a chance to fill some spots. League is on Yahoo. League ID: 212735 Password: flairwhoo1

Whats the first pay per view you saw live?
JHawk replied to Frankie Williams's topic in General Wrestling
First one I saw live was WrestleMania 2 on closed circuit. First one I ordered was SummerSlam 1992. The first one I attended live was SummerSlam 1996, and I'm still pissed Shawn Michaels threw his temper tantrum and cost Vader his WWF Title win. -
Yeah..uh..what were you saying there? I thought it was pretty clear. London and Kendrick should be tag champs. They keep getting squashed. It confuses me. The explanation is, it is the WWE, does anything ever make sense? Well it does make sense. Umaga is going into a big match at Wrestlemania, while London and Kendrick are not. So Umaga was set up in a match to make him look strong and powerful so he looks like competiton for Batista. How does that not make sense? Louisiana doesn't have local guys they could have inserted into the match and done the same thing?

If anybody cares, new show in about 20 minutes.

It was explained on Raw at one point that it only applies to singles matches. I think it was on Raw 15 show when he was teaming with HHH/Batista that JR made a special point of saying it. Edge also made a point of mentioning Flair's career wasn't at stake when they first made the 3 vs. 1 stip.

The next episode of Smart Mark Radio will air Sunday night, March 9 at 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific. Our top story will be a preview of TNA's Destination X PPV. We'll also discuss the build to WrestleMania thus far, including a view from the stands at the ECW/SmackDown taping in Cleveland, and the passing of wrestling legend Don Curtis. Listen live at www. blogtalkradio. com/smartmarkradio and don't forget to call in live at (646) 478-5863 or email [email protected] to get involved in the conversation. You can also chime in here during the show with any comments or questions, although I'd really prefer the phone calls.

It varies. ECW and SmackDown this week essentially came back right where they left off.
-
Loved Larry Nelson and Greg Gagne last night. They complained that Col. DeBeers' interference didn't cause a DQ. They complained that Buddy Rose ramming Scott Hall headfirst into the ringpost didn't cause a DQ. At no time did they question how a title could change hands on a countout.
-
I believe the Rose/Somers-Hennig/Hall match tomorrow night is the infamous "countout title change" match.

Calling dibs on Cleveland Municipal Stadium. And whenever for the draft, just let me know.

My lawyer is in contact with the University of Kansas because they call themselves the Jayhawks. I know it's spelled differently and they had it before I called myself JHawk, but dammit, they have lots of money that they're wasting on academic facilities and athletic scholarships, and I haven't heard a good frivolous lawsuit story in a few hours. HOW DARE THEY STEAL MY SCREEN NAME?!???!
-
Less than 10 minutes to showtime people. I want callers this week!
-
I might have to talk my girlfriend into subscribing since her cable system gets 24/7. (She lives half an hour from me and I can't get it. What a crock of shit.) I want me a copy of Wrestle War 90.
-
As the norm lately, available to mark if need be.

I'm in as Ohio Hellraisers
