    Royal Rumble 2009

The "We Want Christian" chant definitely played out on TV at the beginning of Edge/Jeff. The Santino chant definitely came off well on TV as well.

    Royal Rumble 2009

Just a quick thought from the Rumble (and if someone else mentioned my apologies but I'm not reading 22 pages): While I understand the finish if the Rumble match itself, was anybody else thinking the Legacy being the final three and one (or both) refusing to leave the ring for Orton would be much more intriguing that Super Hunter nearly winning it all from impossible odds?

Christians Beat Special Ed team 100-0

I thought it has been well established that Jesus is only interested in football games anyway. Just ask Kurt Warner, cause without Jesus the Eagles might have won the NFC. George Carlin: "Why is it that all these athletes praise Jesus when they win, but never mention Him when they lose? You never hear 'Jesus made me drop the ball'." Sorry, couldn't resist the reference.

I can't speak for Texas, but I'm not sure there actually is a shot clock in high school basketball. A referee might force you to pass and move the ball, but at least when I went to high school in Ohio (which admittedly was 12 years ago) you didn't have to shoot.
  6. Wow. If anything, he should have been given a World Title shot for beating up that loser. Here's one I've maybe asked about before...my memory is really vague on this, but I remember on an episode of WCW Saturday Night around '92 or '93, some heel went off on some profanity laced tirade (censored of course). The next week, Tony Schiavone (I think) said the guy was banned from TBS programming for the time being. Does anyone know who this was? I wanna say it was maybe Dallas Page or someone like that, but I can't be sure. I just remember being kind of shocked by that as a kid. I know DDP was definitely banned around that time, as he made mention of the NWA World Tag Team Title tournament on TV before anybody in charge announced it on TV, but I don't recall any profanity, but I also haven't seen the angle since it originally aired. To also answer an earlier question: Race injured his hip (I think, it might have been his knee) in a car accident sometime between Starrcade 1994 and the January 1995 Clash of the Champions and ended up needing surgery.

    2009 PPV Prediction Contest

Is that from the time they were announced to the time they were eliminated, or the time they stepped into the ring? Hunter's time is from the time the buzzer went off until the time of his elimination, as once the buzzer goes off he's considered officially in the match. Standings should be forthcoming. That kinda gives HHH an advantage then, doesn't it? Rey was officially in the match when he was announced, but I'm assuming his timer didn't begin until Morrison also entered and the bell rang, right? Also correct, because the match doesn't officially start until the bell rings. Something like that is a judgment call. Obviously WWE will claim Santino broke "Warlord's" record for quickest elimination. But if we start from the time entered in the ring, then Ric Flair didn't actually quite hit the one hour mark in 1992. I was actually considering calling it a tie based off of that grey area (and because WWE can never get it straight themselves either), but nobody actually picked Mysterio as the answer to that question.

    2009 PPV Prediction Contest

Sincce the announcement came at the 11th hour and I don't want to penalize the people who made early picks and might not get back on here before the PPV, then most likely we just won't count it. However, since I'd be very surprised if Hemme doesn't show up somehow (it could be a Russo swerve or something), keep making the prediction just in case.
