Mike Johnson of 1wrestling first posted this earlier today:
Low Ki posted the following message on his official website, www.Low-Ki.com:
"I will not be competing on the upcoming Ring of Honor event on November 1st, due to a conflict of schedule. My apologies for any inconvenience."
Ki has been advertised to face Homicide in what was scheduled to be the final match of the promotion's Elizabeth, New Jersey event at the Rexplex.
When asked for confirmation and comment, ROH officials stated they weren't aware of any scheduling conflicts with Low Ki and would get back to me.
ROH Booker Gabe replyed to this with:
No one at ROH can comment on the Low Ki situation because I've yet to talk to Ki. Everytime he has had to cancel in the past he has immediately contacted me so I find it curious to read about it on his site. When I hear something officially from him I will let you know. To the best of my knowledge there are no shows in Japan on 11/1 so I don't know what the conflict is. I am hoping this was all a mistake. If Low Ki cannot make the show we will probably have Homicide vs. BJ Whitmer, which will tear the house down. I will keep you posted. Thank you, Gabe
Also, concerning this weekend's Spencerport Show, Gabe posted saying that Teddy Hart & Jack Evans will not be on this Saturday's Rochester area show. Hart was scheduled to fly to Florida for MLW today. However, Stu Hart's funeral was today so obviously he wasn't going to miss that. We weren't able to get the ticket changed. Evans was also scheduled for MLW and with that booking canceled he wasn't able to afford to make the trip. Slyk Wagner Brown has been added to the show and will now wrestle Hydro. We'll have a replacement in the four-way. In some good news Bryan Danielson will return to Philadelphia on 12/27 at "Final Battle 2002." Thanks everyone, Gabe
