Steiners and Money Ince traded the Tag Belts back and forth in 93.

The Quebeccers over 1-2-3 Kid and Marty Jannetty.

Razor and Jarrett traded the I-C Belt in May 95.

The Godwinns over the Bodydonnas in 96 for the Tag Belts (24 hours after having the SAME DAMN MATCH IN PHILLY!!!! WHY COULDN'T IT HAPPEN HERE?!?!?!? WHY?!?!?!?!?)

Edge's I-C Title win in 99

That's about all I can think of...oh. And the Kliq's MSG incident...24 HOURS AFTER HAVING THE SAME DAMN CARD IN PHILLY!!!!!!!! WHY COULDN'T IT HAPPEN HERE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

Edit: I forgot Diesel's World Title win in MSG...24 HOURS AFTER...wait, no it wasn't. Still, we need all the memorable moments we can get, so WHY COULDN'T IT HAPPEN HERE?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?

That was Springfield, MA, actually, but good call.

Funny thing about that one was that in Cleveland, Wrestling Spotlight aired at 10pm Friday nights, and they mentioned that title change. I'm not sure the card was even over and I already knew about the change. 104 degree fever my ass.

Funk won the US title from Storm in Texas...Storm won it back the next night at another Texas house show.

And a countless number of hardcore title switches

The night before WCW came to my town (Lubbock), Terry Funk had defeated Lance Storm for the... US Title I think it was in Amarillo (Funk's home town).

At the house show I went to, Mr. Storm regained the title with the assist with Mr. Skipper. Never was mentioned on television, but I was marking out when Storm won the belt, so oh well.

Yeah, the Bret-Flair was in Saskatoon. Dark match of a Superstars taping that as taped for Coliseum Video. Excellent 25-minute plus match for those who haven't seen it.

Shawn & Diesel beat the Headshrinkers at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis for the tag titles the night before SummerSlam '94.

I was there. Fifth row.

I saw the Steiners beat Harlem Heat for the tag titles, then Harlem Heat won them back the next night in Columbus. This was in '96. They mentioned it on tv, but only like "listen to this fans......"

also the hardcore title has changed hands too many times at houes shows to even count i think. it still gets passed around 3 or 4 times per house show these days.

Ugh, I really hate the Garbagecore title. Worst championship title EVER. Anyways, does anyone have a copy of Hart vs. Flair?

I have Smack em Whack em that has the Bret vs Flair match on it. It also has the first ladder match between Shawn Micheals and Bret Hart for the IC title (though its ok at best) I've been wanting to do a review for it, but I can't find the time to. Other than those two matches, the video is pretty horrible, with such ***** classics as Crush vs Berzerker and Repo Man vs Earthquake. I might be willing to part with a copy of the original if I can get my 2 VCRs hooked up again (argh..)

Benoit & Booker traded the TV Title in 1998.

Shawn Michaels won his second IC Title at a House Show from Marty Janetty. It was also the night Diesel debuted.

Back in the 70's and 80's the titles changed hands on house shows quite often.

The Natural Disasters beat Money Inc. for the WWF titles in July '92 at a house show. Also Kidman and Prince Iuakea traded the cruiserweight title in Feburary 2000 at a pair of house shows.

Actually, Regal's loss to Crash was recognised, but he regained it on TV the next week.

I've also heard about Piper winning the title from Flair in early 90's WWF house show cage matches, and being announced as the champion, but it being ignored on TV.

How about Edge winning the IC belt from Jarrett the night before Fully Loaded '99? I think there was a specific reason they did this, but I can't quite remember. -Jim

isn't that all there really was back then?

I think they had syndicated TV.

If I'm not mistaken (and I may be), Ken Shamrock was supposed to face Jarrett and no-showed (flight delay if I recall), and since the show was in Toronto, hometown boy Edge got called in as a replacement and won the title.

I think JHawk is right.

He is.... then the next night on some PPV (I ordered it, but the name slips my mind), Jarrett won it back.
