Guest Ace309 Posted July 4, 2002 Report Posted July 4, 2002 What are your favorite memories of Andre? Mine was Wrestlemania VI in SkyDome, after he and Haku lost the tag titles back to Demolition without Andre even being tagged in. Bobby Heenan just ripped into Andre, who promptly showed him who was boss and was carried back to the locker room in one of those sedan chairs that looked like a ring. Also, I loved his tag match with Baba against Demolition.
Guest Grenouille Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 Choking Bob Uecker at WrestleMania IV and his heel promos leading to the WrestleMania III match with Hogan stick out for me.
Guest cynicalprofit Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 Sadly, my last memory of andrea was when he was at rinside with the bushwackers nad he was in crutchs and he helped them beat a team( i forget who) But I was young and it was sad to see Andrea in such a bad state.

Yeah it was pretty sad. I remember going to a Superstars taping back in '91 where he was in the Bushwhackers corner. It literally took the man 10 minutes to get himself to the back after the match.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 Winning the Battle Royal at Wrestlemania II.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 5, 2002 Report Posted July 5, 2002 his wrestlemania 6 sendoff the hogan/andre match from wrestlemania 2 ripping hogan's shirt off during the bodyshop.
Guest KanadianKrusty Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 it's off-topic but I gotta say it: hey, Tod, Brick Crawford looks fucking weird in that pic back on topic, my fav. andre memory was of course him leaving WM6 as a face...
Guest Trivia247 Posted July 6, 2002 Report Posted July 6, 2002 The ring with Andre was he was so much pain during the mid 80's to 91 but it came and went. Like WM 1 and 2 it wasn't all that noticeable to him. Wm3 it appeared he was slower than normal. By Survivor Series he seem better, by the the First Rumble he seem ok even though it was only the sit down contract signing. Wm4 he also seem better. RR 89 he felt good enough to take on half dozen guys before he eliminated himself via the Snake angle. Same with WM 5 a decent match with Andre and Jake. probably the Deterioation and pain snuck back up on him by Wm6 where he only stood on the apron. suppose WWF understood that despite his starpower it would be sad to watch him hobble in the ring trying to wrestle. After that was only guest spots.
Guest dreamer420 Posted July 7, 2002 Report Posted July 7, 2002 watch the a&e biography on andre if you really want to appreciate his life and career.
