I like Maven well enough, but the thing with these Tough Enough kids is that they have about 1/15th of the training and ability necessary to do anything meaningful in professional wrestling. But because the WWE wants to capitalize on them while people still care, they're all being thrust into the main roster way before they're ready. Jackie's performance tonight is probably going to be the icing on the cake for her, though. I agree wholeheartedly with everyone who said it was the worst match they'd ever seen. I mean, nothing went right.

The Nash thing is fairly summarized by SK in his RAW rant. He put it in perspective pretty well, I thought. It's too bad that Nash is injured and all, but not having him around is best for everyone involved--the fans, the non-Clique workers, the company, etc.

Hayward, eh? A friend of mine is going to Cal State Hayward, I think... do you know if that's a good school?

Should be. It's better than Chabot College (where I go), I'm pretty sure.

And you Flow? From where do you grace the smarkboard?

OMG OMG OMG OMG... here it is, P2K at last! Wow... I'm glad Flyboy was here to see this, because I'd feel bad because he waited for me for his 2000th. OK, maybe not, but it seemed like it. Oh, so much to say, so much to do... damn... I'd like to thank everyone I've talked to along the way, which is I think just about everyone who uses the board because I post in several different folders. I'd like to thank Raven, because without him I'd probably have some stupid name like CrashHolly182OAOAT... ummm... right. I'd like to thank Dames and goodhelmet, who hooked me up with the writing position at this lovely site, and I'd like to thank all the b-movie/independent producers that create the movies I watch and write about. Oh forget it, I'll just do a "my three loves" picture gallery like Flyboy... so, using that old standby, the Google image gallery... I love...

I think Chris Nowinski is the best of the Tough Enough people (save for Nidia who is the actor), and he didn't even win the thing.

I've never even heard of Chabot college so I guess you're right on that exchange. Is it a community college?

As for myself, my presence is felt from Pacifica, CA (home of CRASH HOLLY~!), but in September I'm moving to Santa Cruz, where I'll become a freshman at UC Santa Cruz, home of the FIGHTING BANANA SLUGS~!

Chris is definitely the best, I'd venture to say even as an actor, although I do love Nidia and her Trailer Trash gimmick.

And thanks for the props... what's so disturbing about my three loves? Oh... DAMMIT STUPID GOOGLE IMAGES DIRECTORY SCREWED UP AGAIN!!!! ;)

Yeah, it's a community college. Nothing but the best for my education. Though after next semester, I'm hoping to move to Nicaragua.

Pacifica? Before I moved to Hayward, I lived in the Daly City/Colma area. I used to go there from time to time to bowl at...Sea Bowl is it? Anywhere, there's a bowling alley there.

Yea, my sister bowls at Sea Bowl all the time. That's pretty cool about Nicaragua... is that a foreign exchange type thing?

Nope, I'm just dropping out of school. I had no intentions of graduating. I just have to stay here and earn enough money for now. But my band is located in Managua (the capital) and there's a great hard rock/punk/metal scene there that sure beats the hell out of anything I'm familiar with here. And I'm tired of the States right now. I need a break.

Whoa, that's pretty cool, I didn't even know you were in a band. What instrument do you play?

Well, I play drums in the band, but I have to sing at the same time, which kind of sucks. But I've never been big on playing live anyway, so I usually just mess around. Thinking about just playing rhythm guitar. Though finding drummers/guitarists/anything is hard because it IS a third world country and all.

Yup, the scene is pretty damn cool there. There aren't alot of bands in the city, but it doesn't matter what genre you specialize in (my cousin/guitarist is a huge metal head, while I prefer punk. We do both), it's all pretty much Rock n Roll over there.

That's still pretty awesome dude, the things we learn about each other in this forum :)

I've been playing guitar for about three years, but I don't practice often so I'm not as good as I "should be". I can play and sing at the same time for some songs, but I don't have the coordination to be able to do it well yet, because I can't think about chord changes and think about lyrics at the same time. I can play both lead and rhythm about the same, but I've never been in a band because I want to wait until I get really good. So I figure once I hit college I'll be talked into a third-class band that'll get massive boos and opens for local groups :D

Been playing guitar for about a year. Nothing spectacular. Just power chords and the like. Enough to write songs. My cousin handles the textures and layering bullshit. He's been playing for like 8 years and always busts out these metal riffs and solos. It gets annoying when I just wanna play Ramones songs.

Been playing drums for like 4 or 5 years. Not really any good. But it's fun as hell. Don't have a set here in the states, but south of the border, I have a cheap set that cost like $600. I had to pay that off for like a year. I usually go to Lennon's rehearsal studio in San Francisco to practice.

We're amatuerish at best. I wanna go towards a Sex Pistols/Rolling Stones type sound (though the two are completely different). It's kinda hard mixing punk and rock/r&b. My Cuz is totally aiming for a Metallica/Iron Maiden direction. Feel the dissention?

I guess this is as close as I'll get to a Behind the Music. :D

Heh, I've made up riffs but not whole songs. That's basically all I can play are various riffs and the song I happen to be learning at the time (right now it's "Something" by the Beatles), because I have really short-term musical memory, and I just can't remember full songs, which is why I suck at solo'ing. Well, I wouldn't say I suck, I'm just really critical on my own solos. I want to have a really cool, amazing, arena rock style solo but it never works, and then I'll look up a "real" solo from a song I'm learning and it'll be easier and yet still sound better... I hate that :)
