Guest Flyboy Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 Hey all, my X-7 recap is UP beeyotch. I did. No status on my Heat recap, though.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 so how was your heat recap flyboy
Guest Flyboy Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I thought it was okay (it sucked ass), but... eh. If I don't get it this time, I'll guess I'll try again.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 Heat was pretty cool watching it live as it happened..
Guest Kingpk Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 You'll have to wait until he gets back online to post it, I guess.
Guest Incandenza Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I have never written a news report in my life, so the music one I'm doing for Tuesday should be interesting in a sorry, O.J. Hart's-online-chronicle-of-viginity-loss sorta way.
Guest Flyboy Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I'm so anxious, I could pose and spit water!
Guest Kinetic Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 28 hours without a cigarette. I'm finding it difficult to concentrate, so I'll be brief: Goddamn cocksucking motherfucker!
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 Pose and spit water like a fox~!
Guest Incandenza Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 What's the longest you've ever gone without a cigarette, Kinetic?
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 28 hours without a cigarette. I'm finding it difficult to concentrate, so I'll be brief: Goddamn cocksucking motherfucker! Then write some haikus You'll find it's good for the soul It will relax you
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I advise everyone check out every post of the "OJ laid" thread. Pure entertainment.
Guest Kinetic Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I went about fifteen years without any significant smoking experiences, but I don't suppose that counts. The longest I've gone since becoming a smoker was about 72 hours, when I took a trip with my then-girlfriend to see Radiohead in Florence, Italy. She didn't want me to smoke, so I'd been hiding it from her. I was an asshole the whole time. I don't think she ever forgave me.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 I've been catching up on things. Seems like it's been an interesting day with all the trolls and all.
Guest DJ Jeff Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 Shut up. Okay, I will. Oh, I just finished watching the first RAW the nWo was on. Let me tell you it was a killer RAW. The chants for both the Rock and Hogan were out of this world. That should be the best RAW of 2002 I think. Even watching it over again made me wish the WWE hadn't trashed the nWo like they did. Poor nWo.
Guest Incandenza Posted August 12, 2002 Report Posted August 12, 2002 A couple of random thoughts (make of them what you will): 1. After purchasing ECW's Hardcore History DVD, the first match I watched was the Benoit/Malenko vs. Sabu/Taz tag title match from 2/95. Benoit rocks the mullet, but not so much as Mullet King Eddie Guerrero; Taz with hair was a strange sight, as was his unbelievably stupid looking single strap singlet with the fur fringe; with the exception of a whiffed plancha on Dean--which was Dean's fault, in actuality--Sabu managed to hit every single spot. Time has not been kind to the man. 2. After a couple of listens, I really love the first five songs on Elvis Costello's Spike, particularly "Veronica"--which I remember being a minor hit when I was 10--and "God's Comic." The rest of the album, while not bad, felt like filler, and was quite the chore to get through the second time around. His When I Was Cruel is a far more successful execution of many of the ideas on Spike.
