Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 The ability to change your own name rocks!
Guest Kinetic Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 I've had it on VHS forever. It used to be the movie that I watched with new girlfriends to see if they could handle my taste in entertainment. It's since been replaced by "Rushmore," but that doesn't change the fact that I've seen it about 15 times.

Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 I compared Pulp and Indemnity cause they were both noir films

Guest Kinetic Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Yes. Some hip hop listening has this week has led me to this question: Is the phrase "cut" actually a euphemism for sex? If so, why haven't I heard it before?
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 excuse me I thouht you were stating fact. I missed the question mark.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Yeah for me, I started a new page!

Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Well flyboy- Do you like my new custom title?
Guest Incandenza Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Yes. Some hip hop listening has this week has led me to this question: Is the phrase "cut" actually a euphemism for sex? If so, why haven't I heard it before? I think it's more of a southern thing--or, more specifically, a Georgia thing. I live in the easternmost section of the Floridian panhandle, and in spite of my hipness, I had never heard of the term "cut" used for sex until I picked up Outkast's Aquemini a few years back. Fellow Atlanta-based rapper Ludacris has dropped that term, as well. I'm far from an expert on hip hop, however, so I'm sure someone more knowledgable than I could cite other examples.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 He was underground, though he did stir a bit of mainstream attention with this particular song, what with its provocative title and all. OK, I thought so. Hmmmm... I wonder if his song is out on KaZaA? Possibly, although they don't have this good remix (no, that's NOT a typo!) of New Order's "True Faith" that I just found out. I remember it from last week, so it must've been grrrreat! 'cuz usually I don't remember songs I've heard for the first time from that long. Now watch me download the album version that no doubt blows that version away. New Order's a pretty good band, from what I've heard of them, although since nowhere around here plays anything from them other than dance remixes and "Blue Monday"... well, you can finish that sentence yourself
Guest Flyboy Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Yes. Some hip hop listening has this week has led me to this question: Is the phrase "cut" actually a euphemism for sex? If so, why haven't I heard it before? I don't think it is, Kinetic... If it is, I haven't heard it used as that. And yeah, bob... I think it's cool.
Guest Incandenza Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Coolest Avatar - Member Name combination ever. My Bagwell/The Beloved Entertainer combo beats yours any day of the week. I'd go as far to say the Bagwell/Fuck Compton beats yours, too.

Guest bob_barron Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 It's cool cause it's true. I think I am the only person who ordered Vengeance to see Regal.

Guest LooseCannon Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Yes. Some hip hop listening has this week has led me to this question: Is the phrase "cut" actually a euphemism for sex? If so, why haven't I heard it before? The phrase "cut up" means vagina, but I'm not sure about just "cut."
Guest Incandenza Posted August 17, 2002 Report Posted August 17, 2002 Blue Monday...Orgy massacred that song...i think Didn't Orgy also shit on the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby," or am I thinking of some other band?
